I look forward to the show weekly! I enjoy their different perspectives and I LOVEEEE the crime zone episodes. However, I really want Fran and Dustin to hold Assante accountable to producing quality episodes. Whenever it’s Assante’s episode it feels like he woke up at the last minute, unprepared with yesterday’s clothes on.

Dustin didn’t know what he’s talking about. 🙄 The first 24-36 hours after you change your tray, it’ll be uncomfortable but the pain doesn’t last long. I had 28 trays and it lasted a year. I still wear my last tray when I’m sleeping to keep my teeth from shifting! You’ll LOOOOVE the results! Definitely finish them based on cost 😆.

The Friend Zone is always timely and on point. They have gotten me through some very tough times and with every episode I feel like I’m one of the crew. Dustin never fails to make me laugh, Assante always makes me feel inspired or entertained, and Fran gives the 100% best recommendations. Highly recommend this to everyone!

This podcast LITERALLY got me through some emotionally and mentally tough times as I was waiting to be sentenced in my fed case. I was always laughing or vibing to whatever the topic was and I learned a lot and stayed up to date on things I lost track of being incarcerated. I’m thankful the The Friend Zone was free on the jail tablet so that I could connect with my people even behind the fence!!

I wish Fran and Dustin would stop interrupting Assante. It’s rude and disrespectful.

I’m glad to hear this subject discussed by you guys. As a fat person, I am leery of these conversations. You guys humanized the issue. I can only imagine this conversation on some other podcasts. There would have been a lot of fake comradeship mixed heavily with patriarchal, supposedly societal norms. You guys are the exception. I felt only authenticity. You know the saying “sometimes you don’t want to meet your faves.” This doesn’t apply to you. I wouldn’t feel any anxiety meeting y’all.

Started listening to this podcast cause I don’t really have a lotta adults in my life, started off cool but hearing their outta touch opinions on the younger generations turned me off immediately. Disappointed

I’ve been listening to this podcast nearly every week for the last 3-4 years and I couldn’t even get 30 minutes into the last episode because of the weird way Fran and Dustin react to and interrupt Assanté. It’s a consistent thing but before it was just a bit annoying but now it’s uncomfortable and mean. I thought I was the only one who thought this until I read the other reviews here and a couple of comments over on Spotify… idk but I just cannot listen anymore :(

I’m on the hunt for a Black podcast, especially post the election. I need levity. This one, is not the one. Post the election the host is blaming everyone who didn’t vote for Kamala for her loss. Saying folks deserve whatever horrible things happen to them under a new president. We deserve more than this podcast has to offer.

The conversation regarding safety skills against white nationalists and Fran asking “ I wonder what safety skills those would be?” Dustin’s response in and me sanging out loud POW POW POW POW at the same time.. I’m laughing sooo hard but seriously, what he said was my immediate response!

Respectfully, the music segment has gotten long and uninteresting. It seems like it’s trying to become its own show within a show. If that’s the case, make it the very last segment. What happened to Dustin’s tv recap? I get that yall have the patreon, but shorten the music man segment and give us a few minutes of the tv talk with Dustin. Give the music segment its own show, have a SMALL recap of it on the main pod and give Dustin back some time for his tv talk. And bring back the freestyling at the top of the show. Remember when Fran came on singing? That’s the music segment I’d sit through!

I have listened off and on and have never truly liked Dustin, he's so negative, vulgar and thinks he's so funny. Always interrupting the other hosts and I'm tired of his obsession with Trump and reality tv. I listen because I love Fran, wish she would get her own podcast because this one seems like it's on its last leg...

I know the world is heavy right now but episodes have been hard to lesson to lately with all the fear mongering. I know the show likes to tackle more serious topics sometimes. But lately the energy has been feeling so heavy and kinda…giving musty brain. Where is the light? Where is the wellness?

I agreed with every word you said and probably would agree with what you didn’t say! Fran I love your spirit and heart! Assante- Talk more!! Overall, Keep doing what yall doing!

Fran you have inspired me so much with your Driving journey. I’m a few episodes behind, I’m just hearing about how you drove to the dentist. I have been struggling to get behind the wheel. I am in my forties and I have had my license for 4 years and have only driven twice, because I am terrified. Everything that you said has resonated with me so much. You just have to do it! Thank you my fellow Taurus sis, you have encouraged me so much ❤️.

This is a great show but the constant interruption to their co host assante is becoming unbearable. Dustin will drag his dad jokes way too long and consistently try to find a joke in everything..

Heyyyyy I feel like Bey chose post Malone because he is one of those artists that goes from hip hop to rock, to alternative and that is what bey is doing. Going through the different genres of music. House to country. Post Malone is a great artist to jump into country with !!!

I used to REALLY love this show. I was a weekly listener since the beginning. I don’t know what has happened in the past year or two but it’s time for me to move on. To say this show is about ‘mental wellness’ is a reach. Dustin has become insufferable. He is simply not mature enough for the type of conversations Fran tries to bring to the show. The jokes during & about very serious topics are too much. Also, there is constant disrespect to Assante from both the other hosts with non-stop interruptions when it’s his week. I hate to let get but I have to.

Dustin is a man of many talents! But this last episode of the when he did the impression of Neeka from RHOP, that was PRICELESS!!!!

This podcast has been great for laughs, but the Backpack Rapper episode a bit of a disappointment. I agree that not everyone needs to publicly state via instagram their opinion about the genocide that is happening in Gaza, but they seemed to minimize or dismiss the pro-liberation movement that is happening online, in court, and at protests. Horrific things are happening in Gaza, and there have been ramifications in the US as well. People have been fired, threatened, and child was murdered due to the rising Islamophobia. Anyways… they have good music recommendations.

Honestly, the recent conversations about Palestine have been disappointing. Particularly the stances of Dustin & Assante. Very craven, both-sides, that’s not my business, “I don’t know enough”, type attitudes and it’s disgusting given we’re talking about genocide. I just feel like this time period requires more of us overall and I’m honestly not sure what this podcast is contributing to the culture and ecosystem anymore. They barely talk about mental health anymore or have guest experts. What direction is the show going in? I’m not sticking around to find out. I wish them the best though.

At first I thought the Asante interruptions were an accident but it’s clear Dustin and Fran do it on purpose. It’s unfortunate. New Year, still interrupting Asante.

I love this podcast. As an active smoker and a creative for many years, I can tell when weed starts to affect my work, thought process and speech. This episode was a hard listen. Assante, love, I’m rooting for a cleanse! Y’all keep being great! ❤️

but assante, please prepare an outline for your episodes so it’s easier to follow for yourself AND the listeners. this week was hard to enjoy and dustin’s constant unnecessary interruptions didn’t help. y’all have been doing this too long for this to still be happening.

My family experienced a bed bug infestation about 10 years ago and we had to dispose of EVERYTHING! Couches, beds, chairs, you name it. On top of the quarantine procedures we had to take months after we rid the problem. I pray to God I never experience that again. It absolutely weighs on your mental… like to the point of ptsd 🙂 Check the corners/seams of your bed & couches every month!! Bed bugs can live over a year without food. & you sure don’t want them feeding on you 😟
