Cindy MoormanGreat educational & motivational podcast :)Jake does an excellent job of being supportive of all educators through his philosophy of educational duct tape tools. He’s also a bright spot my day when he infuses humor and motivational, uplifting messages in his podcast! I enjoy learning more about ed tech, but this year especially I enjoy the pep talks too. Thank you Jake!!
-
guiseeGreat content every timeJake provides listeners with great guests, theory and practice, edtech tools, and humor. He connects everything together through a centralized theme which is a metaphor called educational ducttape.
-
mompoloikInvaluable Resource! This is one of a handful of podcasts I never miss. I love Jake's format, and his topics are always relevant and informative.
-
Jated bubbsyTop notch - past pods worth a listen- Super ValuableYou are a treasure- Jake is authentic... you laugh, you can be exhausted, you admit when you don't know about a tool, and you explain when you find value in a tool. You give us all the options ... I especially appreciated when you said you couldn't do the twitter because it was too much. We are feeling the too much!! Thank you for providing us with so much useful information. I wish I could give you more stars...
-
Mrs. HuckabyThis podcast is transformative!Every episode will give you something new for your toolbox or another way to use the tools you already have. Your skills will multiply! The things I’ve learned and passed along have elevated my students and staff and I’m so proud of everyone. Thanks, Jake!

UserAnonymous1111A Must-Listen for All TeachersThe educational duck tape podcast is a true gem! Every single episode is full of insights, humor, and immediately-useable tools and tricks. Because of the community that Jake Miller has formed through this podcast and his presence online, teachers across the globe are able to help each other. Thank you, Jake, for all you do! - Charlie Mirus (Twitter: @ATeachersTeach)
-
BriShanerSuch great insight!I love listening to what Jake and his guests have to share in terms of educational technology. There are so many different options out there- Jake makes it so easy to make an informed choice of what edtech is best for our students. Highly recommend!

Christopher J. NesiA Fun, New, EdTech PodcastI'm very excited about this awesome new edtech podcast and I think the production value and content is fantastic! OldskooltriviaFantastic! This is just what I was looking for! Thank you, Jake, for putting this together and interviewing leaders in the tech ed field!
-
elizad123Wow!I’ve only listened to three podcasts and have used at least 2 different suggestions already in my high school science class. In fact, I’m working with my awesome librarian to create a My Maps EOC test review - two days after listening to the podcast. Super helpful ideas and advice!
-
Mr GwayTotally authenticJake (not Matt) really hit a homer in with his epic disaster podcast, it is great to hear others have had problems with tech. He not only shared his problem but modeled real solutions by admitting and moving on. His authenticity and humility make this one of my top podcast for teaching
-
VictoriaPopeKYA MUST for any Educator! If you are a teacher that wants a resourceful toolbox you do not need to look (listen) any further! EduDuctTape is a superior podcast with an amazing host and list of guest that not only provide a wealth of knowledge but also provide entertainment! I have binged the first season over two weeks (and I would even rewind when a text/call or direction from the app Maps came over the podcast, because I did not want to miss a second). Jake Miller, thank you for taking on this challenge; you are making a difference in education!
-
JacquePearlLove this!Educational Duct Tape is one of my new favorite podcasts. I really loved the one I just heard about e-books. I often listen as a I walk around my neighborhood, and I think the neighbors thought I was crazy when I kept stopping my walk to type ideas in my phone as I heard them. I will definitely be putting some of these ideas to use in my 7th grade ELA class next school year.
-
kwren18Excellent InformationSince discovering Edu Duct Tape I’ve learned a great deal to enhance my classroom. Students have been using the ideas I hear here to create and communicate. You are so missing out of you are not listening!
-
albrown97New ListenerJust discovered this podcast! What a great resource for hearing about different types and ways to use technology as a tool to achieve educational goals!
-
Carter ArbuckleApplicable and UsefulAs a Teacher-Librarian I feel like it is important for me to stay up to date on best practices in Ed Tech. Edu Duct Tape provides applicable strategies and practices that I can use and share with colleagues. I like the mix of expert interviews and real word applications via FlipGrid responses.
-
StricklandCSo much to love!Jake's podcasts are so fun and informative. Love adding all the ideas and tools I learn about to my tech coach toolbox!
-
EdTechAnticsProud #ducttaperThis is one of the best podcasts in the crowded #podcastedu space. Jake and his duct tape metaphor keep tech as a facilitator rather than the center of learning. A must listen for any teacher looking to meaningfully integrate tech into their daily teaching.
-
AmandaSoupTidwellInformational and EntertainingJake seems very down to earth and is easy to listen to. Podcasts are full of great new tools and applications. Thanks for giving me new ideas and tools I can explore and use in my classroom!
-
Alenoans717Fun and Oh So HelpfulI so enjoy listening to this podcast. Jake is entertaining and also provides so many great educational technology ideas. I always walk away from this podcast with a giggle and a new idea to put to use in my classroom right away. Keep it up!!
-
aecannonfsEducational PD you can use now!I have a list of podcasts I listen to each week to grab ideas and keep up to date in the world of education and EdTech. Educational Duct Tape is top notch and by far shares the most useful, current, and user friendly content for all areas and grade levels! Thank you for sharing and creating this community of learning and adjacent possible opportunities!
-
AndersonEdTechInformative & Entertaining! The #eduducttape Podcast never disappoints! Jake always has inspiring guests with tons of great knowledge to share, conversations are always insightful, and Jake is never afraid to speak his mind, which is refreshing in a social media and podcast world for educators that tends to gloss over so much. Keep up the solid work!
-
@alliemccutchAmazing and Inspiring...should be mandatory PD!This podcast has totally changed my teaching! Jake has inspired me to integrate many new apps and ideas into my 5th grade curriculum. My students have turned into creators instead of remaining as 'passive consumers'. We have used Flipgrid to demonstrate our learning, share our voice, and connect with others outside our classroom. Our writing has dramatically improved with the use of Boomwriter, Bookcreator.com, and Peer Grade. We have engaged in over 10 Mystery Hangouts and have Skyped with experts all over the country. All of this has been possible because of the ideas I get from Jake and his awesome guests! Thanks for making school fun again for me and my kids!
-
AplinTeacherPedagogy + Technology = Awesome!Jake’s podcast is just what educators need! He starts with sound instructional practices and explores how technology can help improve what we do in the classroom. Besides Jake’s soapbox segments and his sense of humor, what I love most about this podcast is that Jake makes it clear that there is no “right” way or perfect tool that teachers should use to meet a need. He respects that teachers are professionals who make choices based on what’s best for their students and their situations. Thank you, Jake, for your ideas and inspiration.
-
@jmartinez727Jake Miller Does It AgainThis is an excellent podcast. Jake brings energy and passion to a host of ideas and topics in education. Give this show a listen, I think you'll agree that it is well worth your time.
-
@specialtechieNot your Dad's Podcast!I used to think Podcasts were SO boring. The last thing I needed was someone talking to me non-stop while I sit in an otherwise peaceful car driving to and from work. That's not the case anymore! Educational Duct Tape is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to for amazing ideas to use in the classroom today! It's great for teachers, coaches, and administrators, even if you aren't the technology guru in your building. Jake's witty sense of humor and ability to engage his guests in meaningful banter is the best part! Give it a listen, your students will thank you!
-
WindyDazeContent and entertainment! This podcast is essential listening for any educator, not just technology coaches! I have gotten so many ideas and tons of inspiration from both the host and guests. I'm always smiling as I listen and especially get a kick out of Jake's many character voices. Thanks for the great content and I really encourage others to tune in :)
-
StellaRPollardLet Me Grab My SoapboxEducational technology can never replace good teachers. Ever. The human interaction is so important in the learning process. However, when placed into the hands of good teachers, technology can allow for students to go deeper into the content. I love of #EDUDuctTape Gives educators many different ideas on how to use edtech while also talking about the WHY and pedagogy behind it. Thank you Jake and guests for so many knowledge bombs and so much laughter.
-
MophysicsThe Tonight Show of EdPodcastsThis an incredibly entertaining and informative podcast. It’s rare that a podcast is so well produced and hosted. Jake is truly of my generation with his spot on pop culture references. But where he really shines is in his ability to get guests sharing their expertise while still showing he knows his stuff as well. The ability to have true segments rather than a rambling show makes this podcast a must listen for every educator. Be sure to check out the show notes once you’re done to get all the links. Thank you Jake for your great work. Listener #29.
-
SHSTechGuySomething to learn in every episodeThis podcast does a great job validating and confirming that some of the items that we implement are top of the line, while also inviting you to take your own path and do what works for you. I learn something new and implement something from every episode with at least one teacher in our school! One of the best educational technology podcast you will find.
-

If you are looking for a practical resource for ed tech and pedagogy you can put into practice right away, join the #EduDuctTape community!!

T.W.--Baton RougeAbsolute Favorite! This podcast has soared to the top of my weekly most anticipated list! Everything Jake discusses is usable content and relatable across the grades and subjects. HpcamperToledo Tech TeacherI love this podcast, it’s fast moving and informative. Jake has great guests and good ideas that really “stick.” One of the best podcasts on “tape.” (Sorry, I heard that Jake likes a good pun.)
-
Pinklemonade96Learning & Listening made easyI can’t recall how I learned about the podcast but I’m thankful for its introduction. The conversational tone along with the depth of ideas has sparked multiple ideas that I have shared and will continue sharing with my teachers and students. I look forward to each episode eager to explore new content and to receive that “a-ha” spark I sometimes need! A weekly fixture in my podcast schedule and a must have for anyone looking for #edtech content.
-
Craig KlementI’m hookedI had so many people recommend this podcast to me, so I finally took some time to listen. And I’m so glad I did! Jake is hilarious but also provides excellent and useful ideas and brings on some great guests.
-
@AngelaGreene12Educational Duct Tape For the Win!Educational Duct Tape, the new podcast by Ohio’s own Jake Miller has got it all! It’s educational technology that keeps learning center stage. Imagine a blog that adheres to the framework of the TPACK model coupled with lots of “Dad humor”. Thanks for this important contribution to the educational technology community, Jake!
-
KieferSJLoving it!Every episode is a must listen. Jake packs it with tips, resources, and fun! He & his podcast truly are GIF-ts to all of us.
-

-
GABA GABA MannyYaaaaaaaaaas! EduDuctTape, Shanté you stay!Jake Miller is awesome. EduDuctTape was my very first podcast I ever heard. What a way to put the standard so high up. I really enjoy Jakes humor and knowledge. I have learn new apps and new ways to connect to people. -
MelflyparPatch awayDuct tape is like the force. It has a light side and a dark side and it holds the universe together. Not sure this podcast has a dark side. Really enjoyed listening so far. Looking forward to more episodes for my commute in the future.
-
Hmm420!JUST WOWEducational duct tape is a conversation I’ve been having with my team of tech integration coaches all year. We’ve been talking about how to help get our teachers to make that mental switch! Every time I listen to an episode I’ve taken away a better solution than I have had for a problem and just been amazed!
-
Pdubya TechThis ain’t no ordinary duct tape!As soon as I found out Jake Miller was starting a podcast I knew it was going to be #SolidGold. I hit subscribe before I even listened to the teaser. Boy was I not disappointed as I binged through the first three episodes. As a Tech Coach I really appreciate the soap box segments and the constant emphasis put on EdTech being the right tool for the right job and not the end goal. It’s all about teachers, the instructional leaders in each classroom, finding the best and most creative ways to allow students to be original and show what they are capable of beyond simple fact regurgitation. Jake, you made it into my commute rotation very quickly. Well done sir! I’m already waiting for the next episode. Thank you for spending the time to produce this show!
-
Lisa Marie BennettGreat stuff!I am loving Jake's approach in his new podcast. He focuses on how to solve educational problems/issues with tools - instead of "hey, here's a cool new app - use it!". His pacing and personality are a joy to listen to. I've added this to my morning commute podcasts! I can't wait to hear more.
-
TTrottiGreat First PodcastVery informative first podcast! I was one of the 6! But I am sure loads were listening. Glad I have another good podcast to add to my repertoire when I am out walking.
-
VanillaCillaHappy New Podcast!Great teaser! You always have awesome things to share so I'm definitely looking forward to the first episode!
