I watched the show daily from day one (2007). They sold out. Somehow defensive Joe and Mika don’t realize it’s over.

It's time this peak boomer cringe was off the air. Morning Melons, her tragic wardrobe, and screaming Beaker need to go back to Mar-a-Lago where they belong and let someone with a brain (Geist) have this slot. Whatever credibility Joe and Meka may have had has disappeared in the ether with a trip to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring of a Felon.

I HATE how Joe keeps repeating words in his sentences! The good thing about podcasts is the ability to fast forward, which I do almost every time Joe starts rambling. Stopped listening to this podcast every morning after the epic visit to MAL. This was not an interview, and the meeting served no journalistic purpose. “On background” means you talk to a source “on background” to inform the larger story you are reporting about. This was not the case, as there was no “story to report. It was a long embarrassing attempt to justify a visit to Trump. He used it against them, and they deserved it. I have no sentimentality or anger over this. These aren’t personal friends. But I have zero regard for this show anymore. It is disappointing, and the fake reasons for their behavior are completely transparent. This show destroyed its credibility.

But Monday, and the subsequent explanations during the week, have illustrated how scared you really are. Fear is a powerful force, and one that authoritarians use to silence critics. But we needed you, ESPECIALLY NOW, to stand firm on that hill in the face of what this country is threatened by. But instead you caved. Whether that was due to personal fear for you and your families, or fear of losing your jobs….. the latter most likely to come true after Comcast’s announcement of selling off MSNBC…….I hope you feel you saved yourselves. You sold out the rest of us.
