Hey!!! Love this podcast it broadens my horizon on my history and true crime knowledge as-well as giving me more horror movies to watch in my free time and this is exactly what I've been looking for to keep me busy thank you for that!!

Iwas looking forward to listening to this podcast but found it was distracting trying to listen to this podcast when the female quit talking and someone was talking in the background but couldn’t hear a single word that was said - disorganized to say the least

Title doesn’t match podcast. There’s a very short talk about the movie then the behind the movie doesn’t talk about what the movie was based on but merely talk about other movies actor’s starred in and other movies the directors made. That doesn’t equal behind the scenes to me.

I tried listening to this and couldn’t get through her odd giggling and his droning voice.

I love this show, and hope you can release episodes more often.

Your episode on Michael Alig and the club kids was good except for the miss pronouncing of Alig and also Peter Gatien. I would research the way they are pronounced first. It should not have been a big deal but hearing it miss pronounced over and over was a bit distracting. Otherwise good episode

I just started listening to this and I had to stop it. The male host draws out the words and has vocal fry to a point that I just can’t listen to it. The content seems good but I can’t get past the narration.

What’s to giggle about? Where is the hilarity in describing heinous crimes? If you’re not going to take the topic seriously, I’m glad other podcast hosts do. “I LOVVVVE TRUE CRIME!” This is some cringeworthy copy.

The stories are so amazing and juicy

Yes, I can read Wikipedia too. The hosts have absolutely no rapport, and the first episode is technically inept, as one of the cohosts appears to be in a different room with no microphone. The hosts are also too willing to believe the hocus-pocus nonsense in horror movies like the Exorcist and the Amityville Horror, which are not based on true crimes but on inventive opportunists looking to sell a story. Try True Crime Garage or Vanished if you’re looking for a good, true crime podcast. Actually, just about every true crime program I’ve listened to is an improvement over this garbage.

One listen and I’m done. They read of wiki or whatever. No rapport between hosts. The good reviews must be family and friends this is NOT a good true crime p cast. Check our true crime garage, crime junkie, true crime all the time. These are good shows. You will soon forget this junk

The female’s laugh is annoying as crap! I couldn’t make it through one episode. It is so cringe! She needs to mature a little before she tries to do a podcast, like seriously! And I’m beginning to think the 5-star reviewers are merely their friends and family because who in their right mind can tolerate them and their annoying voices and cringe-worthy laughter!?!?

Cool mix of true crime and the movies based on the crime. Not usually my type of podcast but I enjoy the hosts!

These two have a really great dynamic and their voices are super pleasant. I really enjoy that they do a variety of different true crime movies and it’s awesome to have both movie facts and the crime facts. It’s an interesting duality. A really fun listen, if you like true crime and movies, this podcast is for you!

I think this is a great idea and I wish I could listen to it but I just can’t do Chelsea’s laugh. Not because it’s at weird times but just the noise or it.

This is a AWSOME podcast it took my 2 hours to look for a podcast that I want but it all ended here so thank you it is awesome 👏😆😈🤡💀💩

Once you get past the first episodes, this podcast becomes pretty good. The concept is very unique and I enjoy it.

Really poorly put together and they are really long winded. Don’t really care about your opinion just would like to hear the story and really the nervous laughter after you say something really is annoying.

You can't hear half of the podcast...I hear vague talking far away don't know who it is or what they are saying. Can't even keep up with it.

I really like the concept of this podcast but the delivery and inane chatter and giggling of the hosts really turns me off. Sorry

Listening today to the Party Monster podcast I found myself turning up the volume to hear the fellow and turning it back down when the gal spoke... also, at the beginning it sounded like reading a term paper, not a discussion. Mispronunciations of names and not even trying to pronounce Chloe Sevigny’s name indicates to me that the fella didn’t do such a basic thing in broadcasting, finding out! Finally, the flippant comment about how old people in their 60’s wouldn’t get the club kid world is patently ridiculous.

I want to listen to this podcast series, I really do but the delivery of the story along with annoying voices makes me want to unsubscribe.

This is a great podcast to listen to on a daily basis just going through daily life.

I love that you have horror and murder stories in one big podcast. I love that you talk with emotion and don’t just talk like you have had a long day in a cubicle and had to make a podcast.

I’m sure they’re very nice and smart people, but I can’t get past the way they present, which sounds too much like they’re reading off the script they wrote for themselves. They sound at once insecure and overconfident. They’re really in to being podcasters, they probably very hard on their show, but the writing lacks the kind if details that would bring scenes to life, and the reading of it is neither casual enough (see: Hollywood Crime Scene) nor rehearsed enough (see: Kingpins). Sorry.

This podcast got me hooked on podcasts! I love listening to the episodes while jogging or walking each morning. Can’t get enough. Love the friendly banter :)

If they are discussing things, then yes, I would welcome both voices, but the girl is basically half laughing when she says things and has a terribly annoying voice. Overall, I don't think the podcast is done well.

I love books, movies, and crime tales. Stumbling on this podcast has combined all 3, and I love it! You guys are awesome, likeable & thorough. THANK YOU for this different take on True Crime! I am so terribly excited about catching up on all your episodes!! If can leave one small request, it'd be to PLEASE read your printouts slower. It's not for lack of comprehension, it's just harder to enjoy, & I feel like I'm being read AT, instead of to. If that makes sense. The 2nd half where you just talk & analyze is SOO much more normal. It was this stark contrast that led me to realize you had to have been reading the 1st half. I thought it'd be easier to adjust to if I listened more, but I found myself fast forwarding past the reading to the talking each time. I'm missing all the good stuff, though 😟. Anyway! Love you guys, love the show; I'm looking forward to being a supporter and forever fan! (Pls know my request above is an observation/request, not a critique! 😀☺️)

I stumbled across this podcast while looking for something similar to serial. I gave this one a listen and haven’t been able to listen to anything else since! I have a list in my phone of horror films I need to go back and watch to look for the things discussed in the podcast. You guys are awesome and made me realize how much I enjoy the art of horror films! Especially those based on true events.

The perfect blend of everything I love. True crime and Horror movies. Great subject matters, easy to listen too and always a good time.

Just found this podcast while searching for more info on Andre Rand... so glad my True Crime obsession led me here. Early episode issues of sound quickly are resolved into a well organized listen. Great chemistry and story telling made this an easy add to my ‘Favorites’ list. Keep up the great work...and would love to see you cover the 2001 movie Bully based off of the murder of Bobby Kent. Think this would make a ridiculously interesting podcast!
