MikerxyzShame on you guysThey talk about how the employees shouldn’t had stood up to the ceo for agreeing to make things that kill people, and that they should have done it another way, there is no other way. CEOs don’t listen to anything but money, certainly not their engineers. Shame on you guys for supporting the evil Microsoft is getting into.

ACooke502Great ShowLove the way that Paul, Richard & Leo talk about Windows and the updates that that have come out. Pauls rants are hilarious. I wish trhat the podcast was everyday. Can't wait until Wednesday to watch them!

NewtronicWeekly updates on what Microsoft’s up toNo better place to cover the consumer side of Microsoft, primarily Windows, AI, and Office with XBox thrown in. As a CIO, it’s an entertaining way to keep up with what Microsoft is up to. I have to admit I sometimes skip the XBox segment at the end of the show.

cebert85Was good, too political nowThis use to be a great podcast on Microsoft and Windows developments. Paul and Leo have gotten increasingly political following the 2024 election and their one-sided views make the show increasingly intolerable.

DataOnTheInternetNeeds better editingNeed to edit out the constant talking over one another, repeatedly ramblings, awkward sighing and uninteresting off-topic tangents. A lot of the topics can be really good but there's a lot of bad stuff you have to wade through to get there. In recent times, there’s been a rather poor check on facts regarding Windows/Microsoft. Paul’s poo-pooing of security professionals regarding Recall has been borderline slanderous, and it’s clear the he doesn’t exactly understand the risks at hand, letting his Microsoft cheerleading get the best of him. It’s not a good look.

DrewOnBassListener for more than 15 yearsWindows Weekly is an engaging and informative podcast that covers the latest news, updates, and insights from the world of Microsoft, Windows, and related technologies. Hosts Paul Thurrott and Richard Campbell provide expert analysis with a mix of humor and historical context, making even complex topics accessible. While it caters primarily to Windows enthusiasts and IT professionals, its lively discussions and deep dives into Microsoft’s ecosystem make it a worthwhile listen for tech fans.

RockiesGuy19One of my favorite podcastsBeen listening for years, look forward to new episode each week. I'm not even a big Windows/Microsoft aficionado but that's the secret of this show - it's not one-dimensional. The winsome combination of tech and life musings keeps me coming back! Thanks Leo, Paul, and Richard (and Mary Jo)!
-
HjjhfsrggkiyffgjiiThis is a witty discussion on Microsoft. They have personality and knowledge. They have fun banter and try to be politics agnostic, not always successfully but good enough.
-
feeked00Been listing for nearly 20 yearsI’ve been listening to this show regularly for nearly 20 years now and it’s still entertaining and informative
-
BurnitaliveEvery weekListen every week and look forward to it.

Allt3chThe only source of truth for meThis podcast has been a staple of my education since the beginning of it, thousand plus episode ago. I have listened to it every week since and will continue to do so until I’m no longer breathing. Thank you, Leo, thank you Paul for your years of one-sided friendship.
-
MrmojorisesNever miss an episodeListen religiously each week, Paul is great

DavidandallisonnormanLeo & PaulMiss marry Joe but Leo & Paul are great. One of my favorite shows. Listen every week for 10+
-
Rdudek101Very informativeBeen listening to this podcast for many years. Always find the information great. Paul and Richard make a great team.

RonskolLong time listenerI’ve been listening to Windows weekly for about 9 to 10 years. I got back into IT after about six years in another field and have used Windows weekly to stay up to speed on all the latest Microsoft news. I do miss Mary Jo, but Richard is growing on me. Windows Weekly is one of the few IT programs besides This Week in Tech that I must listen to every week.
-
ThespacecamelStill the best Microsoft PodcastPaul and Richard have been covering Microsoft longer than most and that great depth of knowledge makes a great show. Listen to them if you want to learn about things with their dry sense of humor.
-
techie techtechTech news for techiesI've enjoyed this show for years now, it's a great source of MS tech news for professional computer people.
-
Lk13589Conflicted reviewI've followed Leo for decades across his many shows and considered them must listen. Now I only catch WW. Since 2016 he and podcast hosts are unbearingly anti Trump and as a result they avoid anything "Musk", who is the most relevant tech personality and inventor / entrepreneur of our time. In WW, when AI is discussed , Elon is only dissed and his contributions avoid mention. It's a shame that this too has become so hateful. Louie

colorfulmeta4Doctorow is RightSeems like Cory Doctorow’s theory is becoming universal when it comes to goods and services. I enjoyed listening to this podcast off and on for several years, as I moved back my desktop/mobile computer use back to Windows from macOS (mostly due to gaming). Mary Jo’s departure was her choice. I respected it, but that was the beginning of the end for me. I kept going, but the final straw was Mr. Thurrott’s dismissal about privacy concerns with all this hyped AI nonsense - especially pooh-poohing privacy concerns related to Windows Recall. Pretty disrespectful, if you ask me! There are valid concerns with all this AI nonsense being pushed on consumers, and a factor in making W11 worse and worse. I haven’t even started on this ad stuff. Ridiculous. If I’m a Chicken Little for being worried and fed up about Microsoft ruining an already quasi-dubious product, so be it. There are enough other podcasts to listen to, anyway. No need to listen to industry shills who disrespect daily users. Done.
-
AndyspopA great listenI really enjoy the show, can do without the “back of the book” part. Would love a little bit more on O365 and Microsoft 365.
-
Dmg144Want to like it but can’tPaul Thurrott has credibility but this podcast is far too long and rambling. It’s 2 hours but can be cut to one without much loss. Paul also seems to focus on the individual use of Windows without giving much consideration as to why Microsoft is doing things for the enterprise. Get an editor and tighten up the topics and it will be better.
-
BranThaBuilderCan’t get in a wordI mean if Paul can’t finish his statement/argument before Leo interrupts, it’s the Leo show. It’s like watching a debate on MSNBC. The guests or “co hosts” can’t finish what they are saying because Leo can’t allow a difference in opinion on his show. It’s so cringe. Poor Richard is just sitting in the back not saying a word as to not waste a breath to try. Wow Leo has really spiraled down. This used to be my favorite show in the network due to Paul’s whit and incites as well as the back and forth that Leo usually allowed. But if Paul can’t even talk, what’s the point. I’m done with TWiT. I will look forward to any other show that Paul T jumps on to get those long form insights. RunAs Radio is now my go to for Microsoft. Just wow, I’m so disappointed.
-
Rob StanfieldA good rideIt was a good ride but it’s just not the same show without Mary Jo.
-
Cat Daddyx2Focus has changed without Mary JoSince bringing Richard in as the new co-host, the show spends more time on developer topics or the inside workings of Windows. I miss the 365 or enterprise topics they used to discuss. Still a worthy listen for IT but less applicable information than there used to be.
-
Bill525Hard No! to Richard CampbellWe’re witnessing the death of once great podcast and really, I think, of a podcast network. Welcome to old guys talking about random stuff. The worst possible choice to replace Mary Jo. This podcast was already pretty much unlistenable without Mary Jo Foley. Now it has tipped the scales entirely. Every show on Twit has become nothing but inside baseball. I don’t think they care about being interesting or on topic anymore.
-
MadcknGreat pace and hosts usuallyLove the usual cast but guests like on the recent July episode are very wishy-washy and spend 5x the time needed to explain a point.
-
TDubManGreat podcast on Microsoft & WindowsThis show is hosted by 2 of the most knowledgeable Microsoft journalists and one of the most seasoned tech podcasters in the world. I look forward to it every week.
-
JMProjectsThe toaster WorksI listen to this podcast for a very long time. So far it’s the best out there regarding windows. Thanks to Leo, Paul, and Mary-Jo.
-
safesax2002Fun and educationalPaul and Mary Jo are so knowledgeable in the Microsoft world and their insights are so good. I’ve listened for years now and I’m always learning something useful personally and/or professionally.
-
a universe awayDepressing WeeklyLike others have said, this show is really depressing. Leo barely pays attention, Paul rants, and Mary Jo nods. It wears. There’s not a better over-arching Microsoft podcast out there, which is also quite sad. I’ve listened for years because there’s content in the middle of all the negativity, but it’s time to move on and get my MS content elsewhere. You really have to be a masochist to stay subscribed and listening.

(Mario500)A Review of "Windows Weekly"I had found certain parts of what I had believed to had been certain installments of this "Windows Weekly" to had been vulgar, negative, unnecessary, unprofessional, and detrimetal.
-
DrewBellasRadio GoldVery knowledgeable and pleasant to listen to. I have enjoyed these folks for many years.
-
LocutisMost depressing show on TWITEvery topic is created by a sigh, a complaint or an excuse about why the Windows / Microsoft world is this terrible. I can’t believe you’ve had the careers that you have, feeling so dispassionate. I don’t think we are looking for journalists to be cheerleaders, but this show is simply depressing. I wanted to broaden my knowledge of the Windows world for work but can’t do it. I’m out. I wish you happier lives.
-
ZincmetListening is a highlight of my weekExcellent balance covering a wide range of Microsoft topics. Mary Jo and Paul are knowledgeable and personable. I usually learn useful information and tips each show.
-
OneOfManyDavidsGreat show for bedtime listening! This is a show like none other. Most of the show is made up of ASMR-style sighing and awkward, drawn-out pauses. Mary Jo’s “yep”s throughout the show are her primary contribution to the conversation, and slowly lulls you to sleep. Paul’s knowledge is evident but his highly dispassionate style and constant sighing shows he’s incredibly bored (or maybe frustrated) by Microsoft. Leo Laporte seems equally bored and drones quietly into the mic. The whole thing has me snoozing in no time. In all seriousness, all of the above is absolutely true. Why do these hosts seem so annoyed by the subject they’re covering? If these people want an example of a good tech show they should listen to any Jupiter Broadcasting Linux show. At least they sound interested in what they’re saying.
-
Annex-8Takes them two hours of idiotic chit-chat to deliver 15 minute if real infoGreat idea for podcast, but it's an unbearalbe waste of time, because--really--it's like an hour-and-a-half to say what they could just say in 20-30 mintues. Sorry--why don't you just cut out all the idiotic chit-chat?
-
kritiker3632Leo should give up on being hostOverall the podcast is informative, but should probably be around half an hour with an option to run longer of many things are happening. Way too many / too long ads, but that is not unique to this podcast. Most importantly Leo often seems distracted or checked out. It would probably be better if he replaced himself with one of the temporary hosts while traveling.
-
cwlindyNeed a new hostPaul is like a black hole of negativity. All he does is complain…about everything. He loathes Apple to his core so if that subject comes up that is what you get. Marry Jo needs to distance herself from both Paul and Leo who is just a mess. This pod cast is about Windows 10 beta builds and negativity. Leo hates Windows but I guess this pod cast brings him some $$$…maybe??? Would I recomend this to a friend…NO WAY.

--**Deep insight from legendary MS pundits/expertsPlus a dash of: Beer picks Xbox news 😄 No holds barred on MS
-
One of my favorite podcastMy Favortie PodcastWindows Weekly is one of my podcasts. I have listened to it for over a decade and found the information useful to my job as an IT manager of Microsoft technologies. I learn something new in every podcast from Leo, Paul, and Mary Jo. I highly recommend the podcast for anyone that wants to know the latest about Microsoft.
-
GoHattersStill greatHave listened to this show off and on for years. Mary Jo and Paul are always well informed. Also they’re just fun to listen to.
-
senorlargoLove this show!! Been watching for a long time!!Love this show!! Been watching for a long time!! Since 2008!! Paul is the best at what he does!! This show won’t disappoint!!
-
WabbittsWondersCurrent Windows updatesI am a Mac user primarily in most of my work, but I do have a Surface Pro and run Windows in a Parallels VM on my MacBook Pro. I have read and enjoyed Mary Jo and Paul for 20 years. They are a calming force in the technology world which is chaotic at times. I look forward to the beer picks of the week as well.
-
xXdeeperXxMikah, Paul and Mary Jo shows are......excellent. I love the vibe of their shows; they don’t give me the “where’s Leo?” feeling I usually get with the guest host shows. I hope to hear a lot more of this truly magical team, perhaps as a spin-off after Leo returns.
-
A_SparrowMikah Sargent is Ruining This ShowI really have enjoyed listening to this show to hear Mary Jo and Paul’s perspectives on what’s going on with Microsoft and the Windows platform. While it’s good to get an outsider’s perspective (I think Leo plays a solid outsider/devil’s advocate part), Mikah brings a level of ignorance to the show that grinds the entire show to a halt. I’ve given it two chances now and each show he has been the host, he’s ruined the show. He’s clueless and unprepared about the entire subject matter.
-
Juan GuapoThe Good, Marginal, BadI’m largely a Mac “snob” and prefer not to run Windows; however, I do listen to Windows Weekly because I enjoy a) keeping up to date on the goings-on in the Windows part of the word, and b) I find this to be one of the superb podcasts on the ‘net. The Good: + I enjoy Leo, Paul, and MJF. I love the depth and breadth of content they cover, and it make the miles of driving tick by so much faster. The Marginal: + The show has a tendency to get “into the weeds” at times, losing focus on what the topic of the show was supposed to be about. 95% of the time, it works, and is entertaining; however, that 5% of the time, especially when Leo is out, gets old…fast. The Bad: + Leo goes on vacation, the show loses the magic.
-
GrasliNo Micah sergeantI do not listen when Micah sergeant hosts.

MM856Too negativeDon’t know how Microsoft puts up with Thurrotts negatives
