Just stumbled upon the Build Phase podcast. One episode in and love it so far. Time to listen to the archives. Informative iOS Dev talk.

Love this podcast because it's only one I found that has truly in-depth, from the field, iOS software development discussion

If you want to hear Seth Rogen giggle and talk about random things then this is the podcast for you. That's how each episode starts off, minus Rogen but someone who sounds just like him. I honestly don't remember them talking tech due to the random off topic laughter that goes on. In case you can't tell,rambling in a podcast is off putting to me.

Amazing show that gives insight into soft and sometimes functional programming. I this junior Dev lives it!

Build Phase is currently my favorite iOS podcast. Great technical tips and an inspiration as I struggle with swift.

Love hearing the podcasters talk through specific challenges on real commercial projects. Great contrast to other shows discussing hypotheticals.

This is easily one of my favorite podcasts. Why? Because the hosts don’t feel they have to start from brass tacks whenever they want to discuss something. They share their entertaining and informative conversations about life in software development from the perspective that the listener is “one of them”, that is, a competent and reasonably up-to-date programmer. Also, one of the hosts is named Golden Fontenot.

These guys are entertaining to listen to and have great technical discussions. I listen to a lot of iOS, Mac, and mobile podcasts and this is one of my favorites. Heck, I even just used some code they posted from a recent episode in my latest client project. Keep it going!

It is great to hear two developers talking about the technical details at varying levels of granularity. Sometimes it is being stuck in the muck of a project, and sometimes it is higher level ideas like MVVM.

I enjoy Giant Robots Smashing into Other Giant Robots. (Who doesn’t?) Yet upstart Build Phase, now with 100% more sample code, remains the cocoa connoisseur’s choice in the thoughtbot stable.

As an amateur iOS developer, I enjoy how Build Phase gives me insight on the thought process of two pros.

Just like hanging out in an office with other programmers. No reticence in having deep technical discussions. Very thoughtful and informative.

These guys are goofy and hilarious, but once they get down to talking about their craft, they let your passion through! Good advice, sometimes questionable, but I’d say that it’s mostly excellent :)

Fun banter followed by good focus on new and interesting topics in iOS development.

Good chemistry between the hosts! Can’t wait for the next episode. Super technical and a bit overwhelming if you don’t do development, but exactly what an iOS UI designer needs to be listening to. This has inspired me to have a more open conversation about process and capabilities with developers and “learn the language,” as it were.
