If you like an agenda with your fiction
I enjoyed one episode. The rest seem to have an agenda they’d like to shove down my throat. No thanks.

    Escape Artists
I have enjoyed all of their podcasts and recomend the support of this organization of dedicated authors and voice actors.

How is it relevant to the story wether or not the writer is lgbtqwhatever?
Why do you, as a host, doing an intro feel it important to specify the author’s sexual attraction in the author bio? Does it somehow effect the story’s premise or plot? Or am I missing something? EP 408

    Top-notch
This recent story, The Last Banquet Of Temporal Confections (two parts) is a favorite of mine and masterful tale, combining fantasy and culinary arts (two things dear to me). Thank you, I very much appreciated this story.

    Not enough to choose from
Unless you go to their actual website, there are only a few very negative stories to choose from. None of it seems happy or positive. Just a bunch of dark unhappy too quickly read words. It’s as if they want their listeners to be sad. Or maybe they think if it’s not sad, people won’t listen. I’m going to try a couple more but I’m just about ready to give up.

    Liberal propaganda
Another podcast focused on spreading liberal propaganda. Why can’t these podcasters just read good science fiction instead of having an ulterior motive.

Has quit a few gay undertones
I am not totally against it but I feel that it seem more LGBTQ undertones in the stories. I get board now listing. That the way it is now I guess.

I only discovered this show when they joined the Escape Artists family in 2014, but what an amazing collection of high quality short fiction! They do their best to push boundaries and buttons, and their quality rivals their older sisters - if you want a top notch example of what free, listener-supported, community-made excellence can sound like, you owe it to yourself to check them out.

Great Stories for Young Adults AND Adults
I'm currently in my 5th decade of life, and I still love every story they publish. I listen to them with my son and he enjoys them as well.

    A Rare Treat
With so few YA story podcasts out there, I'm consistently amazed by the quality of the work produced by this podcast. Definitely the best out there in terms of YA genre fiction!

If You Love Fantastical Stories This Is For You
I've narrated a few of the stories on the Cast of Wonders young adult fiction podcast, and been listening to others lately that have been coming out. They are really really good YA fiction stories that I find myself listening to while walking, biking, and sitting on public transport. If you like fantastical stories, like Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, and the like- this podcast of original stories is for you! I love too, that they pay the authors of the stories. It really fosters growth for young up-and-coming writers, as well as for established fiction writers. So good.

    Just a bunch of fun
I know they say it is for "young adults" but a great story captures the imagination no matter your age.

    More than fantastic
Cast of wonders deserves their Parsec award. They're not just a top audio fiction venue; they are putting out some of the highest caliber YA fiction you'll find.

Episode #44: "Lizzy Viscera and the Quest for the Perfect Sandwich"
Read by Cast of Wonders regular Danielle Daily, this is a humorous take on necromancy, comfort foods, and lunch period. Lizzy may be a necromancer and have a pet human skull named Yorick, but she certainly doesn’t fit the mold of dark-haired goth and favors a hoodie instead of a skull bra. The story is a tad short on world building for my tastes, but that doesn’t detract from the solid pacing and casual humor. Spencer graduated from Susquehanna University with a BA in Creative Writing, lists “Tentacular” among his favorite words, and, I discovered much to my surprise, shares a table of contents with me in Bards & Sages October 2011.

    Just Wow...
I have been a listener to Podcastle, Pseudopod, and Escapepod for ages... and my favorite episodes have always featured Graeme Dunlop. I did a google search yesterday, and was delighted to discover this podcast. I am, at this writing, halfway through all the available episodes. The quality of the voice work is superlative, and I like the "flavor" of the stories. Please keep doing what you're doing (on all sites). There is a wonderful consistancy to the overall quality of this podcast, and I love the whimsy and surprise of all the stories I've hear thus far. I am now off to email all my friends to stop what they are doing and download! NOW! So stop reading and start downloading!!!...

    Top Notch!
This is a great young adult sci-fi/fantasy production. The stories are well chosen and beautifully hosted and narrated. It's fast becoming one of my favorite literary podcasts. Thank you guys for doing such good work!

    Wonderful!
This is a brand new podcast for Young Adults featuring fantasy and science fiction stories. The production is great and the host seems really cool. (He's got a very smooth Australian accent. It's great.) Anyway, I've loved the stories. I hope they gain lots of followers! They deserve it so far!
