Every week I look forward to a new episode of Still Buffering. The sisters have become my imaginary podcast friends and I feel like we would really hit it off in real life. I’ve really been enjoying the older sister dyad. Keep up the great work and please don’t ever leave us!

    Love this podcast
I think I’ve listened to ever single ep over the years. Teylor’s takes in particular are so eloquent and well-thought-out, and the interplay is always truly fun sibling energy.

    More Things You Didn't Like?
As great as it is to hear all the siblings introduce their favorite things to each other, I'd love to hear you discuss other pop cultural phenomenons whether they were your favorite or not. I.e. the American Pie episode.

    Cranky Listeners
Maybe I’m cranky, but I didn’t really gel with these podcasters and the cross-generational takes on 90s and early 2000s media. To me, the analysis was biased and didn’t really go deep enough to shed any true insight. Why not explore WHY things have shifted. Why not discuss perspectives from other generations?

Thank you thank you thank you
I love your show but beside you fun siblings and the chat, I adore you because on the Overcast app you do not have those awful inserted duplicated ads that nearly every max fun show has. I lost so many good shows due to the duplicated commercials that when listening to 15 episodes you just get slammed with that grating noise and that ruins my experience. You respect me as a listener and I will be one so hard for as long as you want. I know you need ads but you have the honor to host them yourselves and I will listen to anything if you provide me that ad, even if not authentically spoken, you give it to me personally. And I love you for it. The show is fun; light; and reminds me of home. The siblings I miss and how much fun we used to have together. It makes me remember to call them and talk when I listen to your show. The topics now are great to remember and some other things I get excited to see myself. Thank you again for appreciating me as a listener as I do you. Thank you, thank you. I hope I always get to have you in my life.

    Hard/awkward to listen to
I recently came back to this podcast after a year and it was so painful to listen to. So much awkward silence and low energy. Sydney is doing 90% of the work here and id prefer if she did a similar pop culture podcast with rotating guests.

    It’s a really good podcast!
It is a very good podcast, but I much prefer the old episodes. As a 13 year old, I do very much enjoy some of the movie and show reviews, but I liked the old content much more. I miss the discussions of school and fashion. I understand that Rilo is an adult now, but whyyyyyyyy. I still love the content and hosts, but it has changed a bit. Anyways, thanks for making the show!

    Home Alone Ep
I understand there’s an excitement of getting into law, but there was some misinformation about how to defend the self and/or property. And in that, a conflation of criminal and civil law. So just a note that the law is all-encompassing, there’s nearly always more than one thing going on, and “it depends.” 😉 Sincerely, a 2L2.

I love listening to y’all, whether it’s a topic that is new to me or something that I’ve known and lived for years. What makes it better is the banter, I feel like I’m hanging with friends. Sydney, I grew up in San Diego, CA. I haven’t had that punch in years but it was definitely a childhood birthday specialty. ✌🏼

    You’re the sibs I didn’t have
Love Sydnee from Sawbones so I can’t believe it took me ages to discover there was this whole other podcast over here! I have been catching up on your whole library of pst episodes and it’s a treasure trove of content. I really love all your different perspectives because of your different experiences in life. It’s amazing to hear what you have to say about everything from Sailormoon to Taylor Swift to Strongbad to Schitts Creek! I’m blown away. I’m an instant fan. Love you all!

    Feels like Family
The Smirl/McElroy family never fails to make their audience feel like they’re included. They make jokes with one another, but you don’t feel like you’re missing anything. It feels like you’re experiencing life WITH them. They become your family, too. Their topics stay relevant, their podcasts remain engaging, and they stay real. They know what they’re about, and they’re candid about it- throughout the podcast, they make mistakes. They own up to them, and they learn from them. I have so much respect for them. I forever look forward to new episodes.

A Bright Spot in My Week
This show has taken a wonderfully reliable place in my weekly routine. The Smirl siblings always make me laugh and are engaging regardless of whether I am familiar with the week’s topic. I love the “new” format, but the freeform banter at the beginning of the show is an absolute joy. Cannot recommend this show enough.

    Milk podcast
Strawberry is the best flavor! Also I am so hype for the among us episode I’m just sitting here refreshing my feed so I figured I should finally write a review. These amazing sisters are just hilarious 😂
  • Birds&Co.🦜
    Love it!
A terrible famous dog podcast, but a great teen culture podcast! I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying it’s too political, but they are entitled to share their political opinions, especially since a lot of teens today are invested in politics.
  • gdybhon
    69/10 I love it
One thing: do your parents have a thing about naming their children just slightly different? Like rileagh instead of Riley, sydnee instead of Sydney, Teylor instead of Taylor.
  • RyannnH
    Escape with these sisters!
When I am stressed, and my own sister cant be reached, these women never fail to make me smile. A must in 2020!
  • thefaeriesrevenge
    Best types-of-milk-cast
They forgot my favorite type of milk (hemp), but I agree with Teylor: strawberry is the best flavor. I also now want to find the pumpkin spice almond thick milk and drink it.

    Milk Buffering
Best milk appreciation podcast I’ve ever listened to! Keep it up sisters! I’ve been listening for a couple of years now and it’s great to listen to such nice individuals being great sisters and talking about our funny collective growing years. So pleasant.

Bad at bugs, cereal, and fish. Perfect at everything else
A lovely podcast of three amazing women sharing pop culture that made them who they are. They take a critical eye and aren’t afraid to question the nostalgia of a topic vs. how it holds up to our evolving culture and world-view. Nevertheless, this is not a podcast to listen to for bugs, fish or cereal. They are bad at bugs, bad at fish, and bad at cereal. However, they are amazing at everything else.

    Bad bug
I love this bad bug and fish podcast. Such a nice mix of sibling back and forth and cultural observations. And thank you for introducing me to Folklore! I never gave Taylor Swift a chance till listening to the sisters discuss that album.

This is just a joke I love your podcast
Bad bug, cereal and bug podcast

    Deserves 21/5 stars
Sawbones and MBMBaM brought me to Still Buffering, but Taylor and Rileigh quickly joined Sydney as among my favorite podcasters. This show is so wholesome and brings me so much joy during such a dark year.

    Amazing pod!
Rileigh, Sydnee, and Teylor have all helped me so much. I love them! They’ve helped me come out, learn about my mental health, and so much more. I love you guys!

    Sound quality
Maybe, you shouldn’t put the the person with the most grading voice, and the runny nose that sniffles every 3 seconds on top of the mic!

    Great show
I look forward to the day that the next episode comes out because every time I listen I smile. Thanks sisters for making such a great show.
  • Volstar88
    Horrible.
A cereal podcast where they tell you they don’t like cereal. Major fail, there are much better podcasts out there unless you enjoy annoying banter. The empty bowl is a real cereal podcast.

    So sweet!
I came to this podcast the long way around. Starting listening to The Adventure Zone and then Sawbones. The episode the Sydnee and Rileigh did while Justin was out of town hooked me on these two. I am the oldest of 4 and this hits such a sweet spot for me. It’s cute, funny and delightful.

    Still Buffering rocks
I’ve been listening for years and I’m always happy each week when a new episode it posted. I’m really enjoying the new direction of the show—learning about culture Gen X and Gen Z are into, and especially for all of Teylor’s picks because I am a millennial with similar tastes and I love revisiting awesome music, cartoons, etc!
  • Izzyogan
    V good
I just started listening to Still Buff in this new year, but dang do I love. Here’s to the culture that made us 🤘
  • Luckiepie08
    Amazing
These beautiful people are such an amazing inspiration to me. I love all of them so much and I love this podcast, that has taught me so much about not only mine and rileigh generation but older generations as well.

    Sister Love!
I love listening to this podcast and hearing the interplay between the three sisters. The new concept is going great, too! Anything that gives me an excuse to listen to these folks spending time together is worthwhile for me, and dipping into different bits of culture gives them a great lens to continue to discuss generational differences in their reactions while moving forward. I hope some day Charlie can be a permanent host, too! <3
  • OneSteeleSister
One of the best shows out there
Loved the first concept of Still Buffering, and love the new approach they are taking to shows! So much fun to be reminded of things from my childhood by Sydnee and Teylor and learn about new cultural icons from Rileigh. Also I will always love this podcast because the first time I learned who Lin-Manuel Miranda was, it was because he came on this show and they started geeking out over growing up as theater kids. Simply the best :)
  • Qwerty2389
So excited with the new concept!
As a millennial, I’m so stoked to hear what gen X and gen Z think about different media. The personal touches of each sibling choosing something pivotal is great. (Also potentially so looking forward to Tey bringing Sailor Moon and/or Syd/Tey bringing Buffy.)
