He gives honest feedback and great advice. He is an awesome interviewer. One of the few I've heard recently who doesn't talk over all his guests, who asks tough questions respectfully, and who does his research on the guests beforehand. Love the banter in the household. So glad Natalie is permanently on the show now too. Love your dynamic!

Be better

I have been listening since the beginning… The Viall Files had always been my go-to podcast but unfortunately it has become unbearable to listen/watch. Not sure exactly what happened—if it was a perfect storm or losing Ali/Amanda, adding Natalie, ego from popularity or what. They don’t research/watch things before they make conclusions about it to their audience. You barely know your guests. Quoting people/situations incorrectly and giving a hard opinion on it. Also, being on reality tv 10 years ago does not make you relatable to this new era of reality stars/production anymore. Things change and experiences are different and Nick shuts everyone down who doesn’t have the same experiences as him.

I understand debates and chatting about the shows for recaps. However, nick really needs to work on letting people speak. He asks a question and then cuts everyone off so we can’t hear what they have to say. Especially sweet boy Justin; cuts him off non stop. We want to hear what these people have to say. And also, we get it… you were on reality tv. It’s been said every episode. We get it.

Dumb Host

Nick is literally getting dumber being surrounded by these idiots on his team. Some of it is very embarrassing for him. In the Tom and Victoria episode, he said he sees a very big difference in the Tom now compared to the Tom who was on the show previously. A complete 360. 360 degrees is a circle you idiot. It takes you from one point right back to where you started, forming a circle. The complete opposite would be 180. 180 degrees is on the opposite side of where you started. And for the last time, it’s pedeSTAL, not pediSTOOL.

Temptation Island Reunion

That “reunion” or whatever you want to call it was so disappointing. It was like the people went on TikTok live and just were rambling. The TikTok lives prolly would have been better. The hosts did nothing to really ask the important questions. Even editing it down would have been better. Horrible don’t waste your time

Ask Nick is the best. Learned/changed more listening to this than decades of therapy! “Don’t text your Ex” book he wrote is also solid esp. after listening to the pod. Highly recommend!

Love Nick!

Great host who is kind even if his guests aren’t always so nice. He’s insightful with a lot of common sense. I only wish there had been podcasts like this when I was dating in my 20’s and 30’s. My favorite thing is he is honest without being hurtful or condescending.

I used to enjoy listening but I can’t help but notice that Nick comes across as a stubborn, immature guy who refuses to grow up, despite being too old to act this way. His dismissive attitude toward women’s experiences, along with his misogynistic behavior, makes him exhausting to listen to. On top of that, he keeps smoking weed even though his wife clearly wants him to stop, which just adds to his clueless, inconsiderate nature.

The HM conversation was difficult to watch. Nick's approach towards Heather seemed interrogative and based on unfounded accusations, especially given the readily available evidence on the JB website and in the court documents. The exchange felt awkward, it was giving Tom Sandoval’s lack awareness, and an inability to reflect and shift.

What happened?

I used to really enjoy hearing Nick’s point of view over the last few years, but I feel that over the last year or so his opinions/thoughts have taken a turn for the worst. We have to remember that at the end of the day he really is just a man, and *most* men hate women. It’s interesting that he is so supportive of Blake but then trashes every other woman (Ciara, Paige, etc.) who hold men accountable for their actions. The fact that he is villainizing these women for leaving their toxic relationships and being upset for being mistreated and taken advantage of is disturbing. The only reason he is supportive of Blake is because of Ryan. I still listen to the podcast because I like the reality recaps and interviews but listening to his opinions (that he’s formed through lack of information and critical thinking) is starting to become unbearable. Natalie’s resentment and condescending comments towards him are just icing on the cake.

This podcast is still trash. Heather McDonald was being gracious by coming on your show. You and your nobody wife try to insult your guests. It’s SO embarrassing. The way you both speak to people is belittling and incredibly “icky” as you would say. You are also aging incredibly poorly for what it’s worth.

Low intelligence podcast

Only thing that makes this podcast relevant is the guests that are of the moment in pop culture. He however is insufferable. What grown mans job is to sit around with other young women gossiping. He does not offer any critical thought and goes off on feelings on a lot of his points and while conversing with some guests. He is not self aware and I can’t fathom how people even listen to this still.

Too Much in Each Episode

I like parts of this podcast but I feel like there’s too much in each episode and I don’t like all the reality shows, etc that they discuss. Even time stamps would be useful. Sometimes I only want to hear about bachelor, not every reality show in existence.

Nick does nothing but argue with the people he has on his podcast. He never allows anybody to have a different opinion than him and if they do he gives them an attitude and talks over them. Why even have them on? He just sounds miserable. I’m sure there is trouble in paradise

Consolidate your recaps

I can’t listen to any episode right now other than Ask Nick because you’re reality tv in every other episode. I watch all the staples but I have 2 young kids so I’m not necessarily always caught up on all of them all the time. I have to skip most of your episodes. Can you keep your RR to one episode a week like you used to?

Nick, I don’t mind that you have a differing opinion to HM on the Blake/Justin issue, and I don’t even know the whole story. My issue is that you tell HM to come with facts, but your “facts” against Justin are your feelings you got after meeting him. No real facts. Please don’t ever get on jury duty. This podcast is just a competition amongst everyone to see who can use the word “like” the most. Also, can you turn down Natalie’s mic? I have to skip forward with her. She’s not funny. She’s obnoxious. She’s overly loud and dramatic. She acts like a high school girl. Why is this podcast so long? It’s so boring. Unfollow.

Gun Show Ads

I love this show and even subscribe to the premium version, but I’ve had enough of listening to Miami gun show ads every time I turn it on. I know he attempts to stay out of politics, but know your audience, man! I’m not comfortable giving money to a show that would endorse something like that.

Going downhill

I used to really love this podcast a couple years ago. But ever since Aly and Amanda left, the new co hosts and Natalie aren’t really cutting it. I think part of it is that they’re clearly very young, and that shows in how they talk/opinions/takes etc. And yet somehow Nick seems to be getting more conservative/traditional in his views. It’s also annoying hearing Natalie and Nick bicker for at least 10min an episode. Lastly, out of ALL the reality TV, the focus on housewives is boring at this point. I keep trying to give it a try but end up skipping most of the episodes to really only listen to about 10min total.

Why making jokes about herpes? How do you think this makes people who have this feel? Hopefully you won’t face the stigma of this condition, which many have and or/don’t know they have it. It’s also very controllable with medicine. “Wow, let’s make fun of HIV next, how fun!” Thinks Natalie… Natalie is kinda unbearable. I thought this was Nick’s show? She talks on and on, isn’t funny, and makes jokes of medical conditions at others expense… constantly talks about babies… really please let others talk, stop monopolizing.

I hate to see people hate on this podcast. I have never left a review but those who are saying Nick is the worst blah blah blah.. he has been the same since he was the Bachelor. His personality is the reason the show is as good as it is because he doesn’t just agree to keep the peace. And it’s literally his show.. he can do and say what he wants because his opinion is why we all listen. And Natalie is his wife.. she’s not going anywhere and it’s so weird to see people say horrible things about her simply existing on her husbands show. This show is great and has been a great and continues to evolve. Stop being so rude and go find another podcast. Stop leaving a negative review because you don’t agree with every single thing the man who’s the show is named after says!!

Nick - Show Me Your Psych Degree

Nick/Natalie - love your show. Love everything you stand for as a married mom of 2 under 2. Totally tuning in. That said…Nick..gonna throw you some feedback..you are not a psych person, and you don’t need to pretend to know what everyone is going through. As someone who often needs to comment..my advice would be to just listen and not feel like you need to relate, it gets a little old home you can “relate” to every story line.
