More authors on. I love Ryen’s interviews and have read many of these books on his recommendation and enjoyed them immensely. Dan Jones may have been the best one yet. Please keep mixing these in with the regular sports content.

As much as I love the sports takes , I’m really starting to look forward to the off season when you do more books! Keep it up man !!

I disagree with many of Will’s takes, but he is a good guest. If you cannot listen to someone with opinions different than your own, your opinions are probably close to worthless.

Did you know that Will Cain is the smartest person in the world about any and all topics? Spend two minutes listening to him talk, and you’ll see what I mean. I finally had to fast forward the podcast…the PTSD from the Russillo and Cain show was too painful to experience again. I nonetheless remain a huge Russillo fan and will continue listening no matter what.

I listen from time to time. Host has often logical takes. Todays pod had Will Cain. Whoa. Doesn’t like the nba because of his « politics ». Like what exactly ? Maybe I’m wrong but the clear inference was either racism or possibly some anti-woke thing? Have on any guests you like but I have the right to not listen to any show that lets someone spout something that blatant without being challenged on what exactly he meant

It’s finally time to unsubscribe. For months I’d just been hitting “Mark As Played” but I recently realized this podcast offers nothing that I need. For a while my listening was guest dependent but Ryen is a legendarily terrible interviewer. When interviewing a guest, rather than giving his thoughts and leading to a question, he chooses to ask a question and then immediately begin answering it himself, usually leading to a long rambling monologue that gets more and more rapidly paced. He forces his guest to listen to his long rambling answer to his own question and it’s a horrible technique. People that have conversations like that are really difficult to converse with. It’s a terribly narcissistic quality. And so today I free myself from this albatross of a podcast! Freedom!

Pods great, analysis of Mahomes is lazy. Allen makes more unbelievable plays in a single game than Mahomes has in a career. Do better. 5 star pod.

Least important podcast about sports. Is Spotify affirmative action for unimportant white men?

Just an exhausting pod to listen to. Used to like Ryen a bit but the constant SEC riding makes it unlistenable. Coming from a man who supposedly “loves” college football. Maybe less tape and more common sense. Don’t waste your time with this pod, it’ll just make you angry.

During one of the life advice sections, halfway through the letter they just totally stopped reading the guys email and started talking about different drinks and snacks Kyle likes. Literally dumbest thing I’ve ever heard and biggest waste of time. Made me hate the pod completely

Russillo is the best out there. I have listened to him since the SVP days (even before they put Ryen’s name on the show, which is still unreal to me). I loved those two together and continue to love them both separately. Ceruti is also great and has really great points (despite what others may say). My only complaint is Kyle. Everyone else seems to love him, and he has gotten a little better lately, but normally during life advice, I find myself disagreeing with everything Kyle says and wondering why he tries to finish Ryen’s sentences. But Ryen is the best and will bring a unique perspective about sports that is pretty unmatched.

I am not sure McShay has a career. I don’t find Todd interesting and I don’t listen when he is on. I just fast forward past his segment. The guy talks in such superlatives and seems like a complete poser.

I enjoy McShay on Mondays but holy smokes does he interrupt RR. EVERY SINGLE TIME he says something.

During the “Greg Olsen on the NFL QB Problem” interview, Greg gives a great breakdown of the cowboys offensive problems and then isn’t going to go over the defense because he’s going long, Ryen says “take all the time you need” and allows Greg to do a better breakdown than anyone else I’ve heard on the cowboys this season.

RR is great though.

Love these guys and the end of the show is the best. This last conversation about meeting up to pick up a free set of clubs felt as if they were trying to see how mundane their conversation gets will we still listen….. yes!!! Number one sports podcast is Kuwait. 😜

Jesus Ryen! Take a breath while you talk. The world isn’t going to end because you can’t get your narcissistic rant out in one inhale. Travel pods are sad and pathetic. Going alone, and then taking notes during your trip is depressing. What makes it worse, you feel the need to make a 2 hour podcast, like anyone cares. Even your family doesn’t want to hear about it for more then ten minutes. What makes you think anyone else cares. Then the fat, bald, wanna be comedian does book pods too. It’s a sports podcast. Stick to sports. No one listens for a book review. Life advice is the worst segment out there. Are we just gonna skip the fact that loser people are asking a 50 year old, who has never married and has no kids, advice on relationships. Ceruti and Kyle laughing like idiotic hyenas every time Ryen tries being Louie CK and boost his ego is cringy

I have been a listener since Ryan was a fill-in at espn. Truly was like who’s this dude. Ryan made me into a believer with his unique sense of humor and work ethic. Ryan, Ceruti and Kyle are for real like family. They are so stupid and real which I love. My wife thinks that Ryan is one of my core friends… hilarious. Thanks guys for all of the laughs and great content. Go Bills!

Who could possibly want any advice of any kind from Nephew Kyle. Seriously has done nothing but fail upward his whole life. He can’t even produce a show by himself. Also I’m fully convinced Russillo writes the life advice emails to himself. They all are written the exact same way. That’s the only time he gets any writing exercise in. He loves to give the right answer to his own questions.

first half is usually solid if there isn’t an athlete or coach interview. life advice is brutal, legit makes me reconsider listening due to being lumped in with these weirdos. still listen on the reg tho. **okayyyy y’all wore me down, i definitely listen to and really enjoy the life advice segments now. great work fellas.

For all that is Good and Holy…’Where the Wild Things Are’! Also, try a chapter from one of your Book Club episodes. Perhaps the recent one that covered Captain Cook’s sudden demise. I think Ryen’s voice would particularly lend itself to the bleak conditions aboard ship during the Age of Sail. Love the unusual episodes (travelogs and exploration historical literature). Thanks for being the friendly voice in my ear.
