    Catalyst for my Elixir obsession
You guys have got me hooked on elixir. Listening to you both talk about the journey of learning new libraries, architectures, and styles has been a huge motivation for me to double down on going all in on Elixir. Hearing the humble side of two seasoned programmers talk through every day problems has allowed me to let my guard down and be comfortable in stepping into functional programming while looking like a complete idiot. I’ve been scared to try Elixir in fear of being less productive and not knowing what I’m doing. Huge thank you!

    Straw and Washington Nail It!
Paul Straw and Sean Washington do a fantastic job of condensing topical web development issues into easy to understand chunks and then discussing said issues with a wit and depth of understanding that few other podcasts achieve. Their openness to the audience and focus on the topics are top notch. This is one of the first podcasts I recommend to developers I meet and new hires at our company.

    My favorite developer podcast
Sean and Paul share their day to day experiences as software developers and take the time to reflect, learn and teach about methods and approaches to make your life as a coder better. Also useful tool and product tips and insights. And you should join the slack channel on the spec network for a growing community of coders who listen to the show.

Varied topics, great hosts and useful resources
Sean and Paul are fantastic hosts—they’re relaxed and have good chemistry. They offer a ton of useful resources and advocate for continued learning, which is a necessity in this field! They’re genuine in presenting their own process of discovery. The range of topics is broad and their conversational style keeps things interesting. Highly recommended to listeners of all levels of coding experience.

    Informative, resourceful and entertaining
Like everything on the Spec network, this is a fantastic resource for both knowledge and entertainment. You’d think a podcast about dev would be boring, but these guys have managed to make it just the opposite. As a novice to coding, it’s given me so many resources and tidbits of info that would have taken me months or years to figure out on my own. Keep up the good work!

    Super helpful for new devs
I'm just entering into a software dev role and our product guy recommended this podcast. So far, it's been astonishingly helpful even though I'll be (mostly) working on back-end code work. The two amazing guys in this podcast talk about front-end frameworks and also about developing in general and their day to day as developers. They have great personalities and are easy to listen to! Listening to this podcast regularly has been surprisingly helpful in shaping my expectations and understanding of this new role I'm in. It also helps me to better understand our front-end programmer, which has encouraged greater collaboration between the two of us :) Thank you!!!

    I'm not even a web developer ...
I'm not even a web developer but this is an incredibly helpful podcast with a lot of gems for developers in general and folks thinking deeply about programming. I found this refreshing, clear, and -- most of all -- helpful.

Striking the Balance Between Information and Entertainment
Paul and Sean have put together a genuinely enjoyable show. The content they cover is highly relevant to developers, and their chemistry helps uncover some of the nuances of the struggles developers face every day. If you want a show about development that is informative but retains a sense of entertainment, this is that show. Killer job, guys!

The coding podcast we've been waiting for
Let me just begin by saying that this podcast's couple of episodes go above and beyond what I expected from a code-related podcast. After listening to others and losing interest, I think it's the laid back and casual nature of this podcast that makes it so great. It's like chatting amongst friends, discussing your work and stuff you've seen lately. Hearing other devs talk and gaining insight into their workflows and thoughts is incredibly useful in honing my own skills. Love the podcast, you've won yourselves a lifetime listener!

    A Must Listen!
For someone that is more on the edge of the tech world and not involved with it on a daily basis, these guys were a lot of fun to listen to! Super informative without totally talking over your head, yet it’s obvious they are super knowledgable about what they do! Can’t wait for more!

    Specific yet General
I'm not even a web developer and I love this podcast. It ranges in topics, but hearing insight into this field from the experts really gives me an appreciation for the work they do.

    Another awesome addition to Spec.
Love these two guys. Very informative and nice balance to Design Details podcast. I’m a designer, with some front-end dev experience and skills, so this will be a great addition to that. Been getting to know Sean personally too, and just all around good people :) Congrats on the podcast launch and looking forward to the future! 👍🏼😄

Great discussions that get you to think differently about the work your doing.

    Informative and Entertaining
I love these guys. They’re devs that know what they’re talking about and can break things down so everyone else knows, too. Keep up the good work!
