Ignore the 1-star trolls, this is quality radio journalism
After looking at a few of the one star reviews it’s pretty obvious that the racist trolls are out in force, sadly. This is an incredibly powerful and poignant radio show with amazing guests. John is a thoughtful and insightful host and I am always thrilled when I’m driving and catch it on the radio. Highly recommend!!!

    In-depth Wonder!
I love how in-depth y’all get in regards to the person you’re speaking about. In Black America is a new fave, keep up the good work.

    A worthwhile listen
Regardless of the results of this election, we’re still living in very separate Americas. Love the education here.

    Slightly Racist
This is not very inclusive of all races. It’s all of our America! A country of different races, not just one.

    The title
This is super racist. What if there was a podcast called in white America?

Add this to your podcast list
A great podcast in an interview format. Highlights research/publications that have their lens focused on the experience of Black America (education, social justice, stereotyping, inequality, and the like). It is one of my new favorite podcasts. I am proud of NPR and my alma mater, UT-Austin, for this podcast.

    Relevant and interesting
The information presented in this podcast is interesting and a great way to learn about Black Americans you wouldn't otherwise hear about. The way the show is arranged isn't awesome, but the content is worth listening to.
