oryanprimePretty goodI appreciate that Burnside let’s his guests talk freely and as much as they’d like. He doesn’t really interrupt his guests which is cool.

jtml41834I’ll start listening again when the politics stopI watch sports to get away from politics. I’ve followed these two for 15+ years, since they were at ESPN. Now that these two have jumped on the “we in these sports community must do something” social justice bandwagon, I’m out. You are in the sports industry; you have zero expertise in criminology, sociology, history, statistics, or political science. Stick to what you know and I’ll come back.

akdiebdia d sBoring ClichesNot a lot of original thoughts or insight here. Just the same meaningless cliches as always.

Justin HillyardTwo InsightfulOne of my favorite NHL-related podcasts, along with Craig Custance's "The Full 60" (also for The Athletic) and "ESPN On Ice" with Wyshynski and Kaplan. They bring insightful and compelling info and analysis, with enough humor and banter to keep things fun. Great storytelling while doing a great job of simultaneously covering the smaller day-to-day and week-to-week stories while also hitting upon the bigger picture of the league and the game. Scott and Pierre have worked together for a long time over the years and have excellent chemistry and rapport as a result. They're good friends off-air and that comes across in each episode. I particularly enjoy when Craig Custance makes the occasional visit as a guest on the show, bringing back fond memories of their time together on ESPN's "Hockey Today" podcast. Keep up the wonderful work, guys! :-)

SharksFan1947Best Hockey PodcastI love this podcast. Scott and Pierre, two veteran sportswriters, provide their unique insight into the latest NHL happenings.
-
wildp0wnGreat content. Bad distractionI love the dialogue and knowledge on the show but on the Rutherford episode this week there is constant banding noise in the background. Appreciate the thoughtfulness in the discussion but PLEASE tighten up the production quality
-
TedtheWildFanExcellentPierre and Scott are a pleasure to hear every time. The deep knowledge of the NHL and all its characters and personalities is gold. They may lack the bite and swagger of Ray and Dregs, but the they make up for it in wisdom and articulation.

NYRPhan35Solid hockey podcastCame for the insight, stayed for the Brass Bonanza. Interesting takes and a great pair of perspectives on all things hockey.

Mister wenyFix this!Worst audio of any podcast I have ever listened to.
-
TimaaaTerrible audioContent doesn’t matter, the audio quality is so god awful you can’t listen to it. How about a little investment and effort on the production? iTunes should ban this.

Kirnel1974Great Content...But Please Improve Production ValueJanuary 11 episode is a great example of why I love and loathe this podcast. The discussion on CBJ and Bobrovsky was really interesting. But it was completely derailed by phones going in and out, and Scott’s constant paper shuffling. I love this podcast and the great work from Scott/Pierre and the excellent guests, which makes the production issues so frustrating. This will be the best hockey podcast once the production level is raised.

imken24DoneIt took 12 whole minutes to make the Seguin/Benn comments from Lites to turn into Toronto talk. I’ve heard enough of this recording from an underwater bathroom sounding joke.
-
BigRedhockey21Great Insight and GuestsCannot match the hockey knowledge of Burnside and Lebrun....but they need a little more professional editing and engineering to get the finished product more on par with most podcasts. I will keep listening and hoping that it improves.

Ashamed to have listenedDisappointingQuality commentary, poor production. Constant stammering, throat clearing, and audio quality issues. Guys you are great, but even the best meal is ruined by a curly black hair in the entree.
-
*notme*Poor quality podcast. If the production quality was better this would be a very good podcast.

dgoldstein620Good people but poor audioListening to an episode and pretty sure I heard I heard a microwave go off and food wrapper noises. No slight against these two hosts who certainly know their stuff but the audio is so subpar.
-
AlexNYR20UnfortunateI really like LeBrun and Burnside, but the audio gaps and lack of audio quality make it unlistenable. I’ll probably come back in a couple months and see if there’s improvement, but right now I can’t stomach the scratchy audio gaps. It’s like nails on a chalkboard.

PM :) :)love the content but buy a microphonewas really excited to put this podcast my list but sometimes it is so hard to hear. would love if the hosts invested in a microphone.
