Phil from YeahInformative and fun!LD, Will the Thrill and TJ2 keep bringing it every week. The musicians they profile have more than one thing in common. Not only have these legends passed on, their stories and songs get immortalized on one of the best music podcasts in cyberspace. The slap nuts episodes are always a laugh riot, and new talent Thea has found her perfect niche with her comprehensive “not dead yet”. Rock and Roll Heaven remains at the top of my rss feed, right where it sky rocketed to when I first discovered it almost three years ago. Love you guys!

magmonkey34Aural tortureWhat is the deal with these hosts? I gave it about 10 minutes before having to shut down and unfollow. They’re just rehashing common info that has already been discussed for years. Their asides are far from clever, and the mispronunciation of basic words and names is painful. And btw, it’s extremely creepy to talk about teenagers as ‘so hot’.

aktoolheadCool podcast!🤘🏻Great podcast about my favorite thing in the world. No not 🍆, MUSIC! Layne Staley series caught my eye/ear and have gone through them all since. The 3 different personalities moshing together makes great chemistry and I love how the girl hasn't heard of any of the bands they bring up! lol good stuff🤘🏻🤘🏻🎙🤘🏻🤘🏻 BTW-**##- Ep. 75, Steven Adler from GnR is still alive, proof read the facts! I just heard you talk about my review! Your welcome. And Steven is still alive! Lol

Kiko BarnesChris Cornell podcastThe two hosts reading material which has been published and broadcast previously by numerous outlets in the most monotone voices while mispronouncing many of the names of persons involved with Chris has been torture. What a waste of my time listening to this plagiarism of material.

bigsexyboogieLearn StorytellingThe subjects selected for each episode are compelling, but the hosts get in the way by self-indulgent rambling, tired jokes and clumsy commentary. Get out of your own way. The story tells itself!

Christopher Todd DavisIncredibly Well DoneThis podcast is really excellent. The amount of research that the hosts put into each episode really deserves a round of applause. It’s always great to find people as geeky about music and it’s history as I am!

Suncoast_DigestA more straightforward takeIf you love the dark side of rock and roll but find Disgraceland too hard to sift through, this is the pod for you. That said, I did hear your stalking episode, and unfortunately there is one story that’s greatly more upsetting than the Bjork stalker: that of Christina Grimmie. Maybe you didn’t know, or maybe that’s just too dark, but to me that sad tale should be told. EDIT 2021: OMGOMGOMGOMG THANK YOUUUUUUU!!!! :,) <3

louise hardinGreat stuffI really appreciate the casual but fairly well-researched material about many artists that are “known” but usually worshiped rather than objectively studied. My ONE critique that is merely a practical one: the mix is soooo quiet.. I’m not sure if this is a matter of EQ or compression but most other podcasts are fairly audible in my car but I have to turn up rock heaven to one notch below MAX.. so there’s that, but with some headphones it’s a great listen ;)

Summer71285Thank youI loved your River Phoenix episode because you guys genuinely cared as you read about him. There are other people who just talk about his death without sympathy. They talk about his passing as a shock factor and then have long debates about what happened that night with sick myths. Even going as far as saying he was killed. That makes me physically ill. He was much more then that one night and I thank you for covering his kindness and spirit.

NannerrsGreat new pod!I was so excited to see a new podcast about my second favorite topic (sorry ladies, true crime is my first love). But as an old rock n roll fan, I love hearing the back stories of my favorite artists. These two ladies are well informed and have great chemistry. I love how they manage to stay on topic while still making me laugh from time to time! Well-done! Can’t wait til the next episode drops this Saturday. If you haven’t subscribed yet, do it now!!

Jesses Girl229My Daddy Soothed Me With The Beatles!Oh how I love you all! My daddy soothed me with the Beatles and John Lennon so I relate to TJ in that way! Music moves me and these ladies are so funny, informative and engaging while still being sentimental. Keep it up ladies, you have a fan here in Kentucky Bluegrass! 🎶🎶🎶

Seductivehobbit22Thorough, informative, but most of all extremely entertaining!!!Rock and Roll Heaven does and excellent job of diving deep into the life of iconic musicians while the personalities of the hosts keep you thoroughly entertained! This show is perfect for hardcore and casual rock and roll fans alike!

BillShakesBeerRock and Roll Heaven Hits All the Right NotesWhat should a good Podcast do? Three things; inform, enlighten, and entertain. This one does ALL THREE. I knew next to nothing about Roy Orbison (except the songs that everyone else knew). After the podcast, I knew more then I ever thought and wanted MORE. LD and TJ have a great dynamic. At no point did it feel like a lecture. Instead I felt part of the conversation. Again, I left wanting to hear more of Roy’s songs solo and with the Wilbury’s. Plus, I wanted to get the inside scoop on my favorite artists. If you read this, can you add Jim Croce and Layne Stayley to be list? Thanks, ladies. This one really ROCKS.
