    Fun to listen to!
Really enjoy listening to the gems. I’ve been to several Nascar races and love to listen to them again!

    Love these!
Love hearing the old races don’t care for the modern ones but that’s ok. Great way to spend time working in the garage and listening to these. Would love to hear the 85 Talledega 500 when Bill came from two laps down to win.

    70’s
Love these rebroadcasts. Would love to hear the 1971 Riverside 500 & 1972 400. My dad won these races, I was very young so don’t remember much about those races. Ray Elder shocked the NASCAR nation by winning the 500. I’ve heard even the broadcasters were surprised. Would love to hear it.

    Love the old races!
Could you upload the 1989 Daytona 500? I gotta say Danielle Frye was horrid doing pit road reporting and interviews!!

Love these, but keep them classic
These rebroadcasts are excellent, I only wish they’d stick to races in the Bill Sr. & Jr. era. The 2014 Daytona 500 isn’t really classic for example, and I have no interest in Brian France NASCAR. And now they added the 2023 Clash?? Did they run out of races?

    Older races
I really enjoy listening to MRN Classics. Thank you for continuing to post up the MRN races of days gone by. I’d love to see more races from the 70’s and 80’s! 1979-1983 are my favorites!

Classic MRN - just like catching a classic movie!
I love reliving these moments, didn’t know there was a podcast for MRN till last week - I grew up listening to MRN, Westwood One broadcasts while I worked - great to hear Squier, Hall, Despain and then Bestwick and Gold group - they brought the races to you as quick as it was happening on the track - thanks for sharing these, you make an old race fan happy to relive his youth and the best part of racing

Excellent podcast but keep it classic
I love this podcast. Used to listen to them on MRNs website but it was always buggy. This is a much better user experience. Only request is to keep it classic. If the year starts with a “2”, don’t include it.

Great racing but maybe newer ones too?
I mean don’t get me wrong I love all of these classic races from the 90’s and stuff but I would love to hear what calling some of the newer races like COTA was like. Or even some of the heated battles from other races in the 2010’s

    More 70’s & Early 80’s Era Please!
Love listening to these old races! Thank you MRN for sharing.

    Love this!
I enjoy listening to classic races from the 90’s. I remember all the drivers from when I was a kid. Please don’t put what happens or who wins races below race. It kinda ruins it.

    It was great until
The show was great until they just started posting races that they already had posted before. Still good show, though.

    Just missing one thing
Absolutely love that I can listen to these old races on my long trips...just wish we could get the starting lineups each race...feels incomplete unless Barney, Eli, Allen, or Joe is telling me who starts where and where they are from or who is on the car that weekend
  • bullwn1

  • packersfanski

Great races but wish we could have more
I like to listen to the old races but I’d like to hear more 80s-90s races and 2000’s really but overall just want more to choose from but it’s been great so far !!
  • TaylorGetsapps
    Love the Old Races but..
Did you have to delete all of the old ones?? I thought the first race at Chicagoland would still be on the list but sadly that is gone😪😪

1977 Formula One US Grand Prix
The 1977 US GP from Watkins Glen was amazing. Please post more F1 races from that classic period if possible. Thanks!

    Love these old races but....
I thank MRN for making these available but I wonder why they keep offering the same races over and over..Don't mean to be critical but with these being archieved why do repeats??
  • ibrianwilkins

    Love It!
I love, love, love, love listening to these old races! Some I remember some I don't, but it's great to hear names like Petty, Pearson, Allison, Foyt, Earnhardt, Elliott, Gant, Neil, Waltrip, Cale, among others clashing for the lead! Thanks so much for the great races on podcast!

    love the old school races
I've been a nascar fan and a fan of racing for as long as I can remember. and I'm real glad MRN radio has put some of these archived radio broadcasts for all to listen to and download and relieve some of the best races in the Motor Racing Network's History.

I Have Been Waiting for This. This is Awesome!!! Old School Lives!!!
I am so glad that MRN has made these broadcasts available. Their coverage has always been second to none and it is a thrill to hear these races. Nascar has changed a lot in the last decade and I feel that despite 'lucky dog' free passes, double-file restarts, and the waive-around rule, the races in the 80's and 90's were just as, if not more exciting. As I started listening to these broadcasts, I couldn't help but smile. It was like having some old friends return. Change is inevitable, but the drivers of the past seem to have a more rugged edge to them. When they won races, they did their victory lap and went to victory lane. No burnouts or other showboating. They respected their equipment. I'm not knocking the talent of today's drivers, but you simply don't have personas like Dale Earnhardt Sr. anymore. I recommend this to any true Nascar fan, especially those new to the sport. It gives you a feel of what it was like in yesteryear. We never forget these drivers. Just listen to the the 1992 Winston All-Star Race broadcast. The winner, Davey Allison (still the only back-to-back winner nearly 20 years later), earned only $250,000 and he earned every penny of it as he crashed at the finish line (the last lap of that race is still, in my opinion, the single most exciting last lap I have ever heard or seen), Contrast that with this year's all-star race where the winner, Carl Edwards, won over $1,000,000 and instead of wrecking his car going all out for the win, he wrecked it doing a ridiculous celebration slide through grass. Plus, these broadcasts are free!!! Thank you so much MRN!!!!!
