I don’t know if Pete is doing a bit or if he’s really as needlessly aggro as he seems on the show, but he is really dragging down the other two hosts. Way too abrasive and hostile for no reason; he seems to take dissenting opinions as personal attacks which is an absolutely insane approach for an adult man. Alex & Justin are fantastic and I really think you both would have a wider reach without Pete. I want to keep listening, but I think if I hear “all day errrrrrrr day” one more time I’ll lose my mind.

When you live in darkness, you can be a vampire and drink milk. I have been waiting for the last season to develop Afterlife of Archie and bring Sabrina back. But, there is also Vampironica. And The Hunger with Jughead. The two paths, wholesome and horror could diverge there. It would be super cool. Not sure if they will do it. I wish someone would care about Ethel. Or Toni. The season started so serious with the Till and now I feel it’s going for camp and it’s confusing. I enjoy your podcast with your opinions about it all. I like the theme and Justin’s opening lines, which I often parody to people who have no idea what I am referencing.

Want to really like this but Pete just goes too far overboard with his Betty and Jugghead fascination.. Other than that, it’s pretty good show.

So great! Each person brings the podcast together and makes it a delight. Better than drinking maple rum at a speak easy under the milkshake shop in high school while the vixens dance on the roof. The joy the hosts have as they retell and discuss the crazy truly crazy happenings in Riverdale- is great. It’s great,5 stars, 10/10, bravo! Needs to be said. You needs all three of the hosts. They are fantastic together. When one is missing you feel it. Pete is great. Alex is great. Justin is great. Together they are - chefs kiss

Like this podcast except for Pete!!!! Alex & Justin alone would be the best thing for this podcast! Pete shoves his opinions down everyone’s throat and goes off topic all the time and uses the F-bomb entirely too much!!! The last 2 episodes without Pete were great, but he’s back in full force in the latest one. Alex, Justin you 2 would be better off without Pete!!!!

Two of the hosts are great! Love their recaps of each episode. On the other hand is the third member whose dialogue contains 85% of bughead... NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE ABOUT BUGHEAD! He brings it in to almost every conversation or just brings it up randomly and puts other ships down to support his. It honestly sounds like a very unhealthy obsession. I wonder what other shows he does this to.

I love you guys, and your commentary on shows. So Comic Guys if you like Riverdale watch Mystery Incorporated. It’s the Scooby Gang in live-action again, but with a Riverdale tone. It’s on YouTube for free. I’m writing you’ll here and on YouTube to make sure you got my to recommendation. Regina

I love this podcast. These guys love Riverdale and love discussing the show. It’s funny and entertaining. My one complaint is PETE. Alex and Justin are a pleasure to listen to. They understand that Riverdale is a fun show and are all in for the ride. Pete is just a downer. Every single episode he has a complaint with a story or a character. He can’t just have fun with the show. When he doesn’t get what he wants he acts like a spoiled child and whines about it the whole episode. It’s annoying, childish, and sometimes infuriating. I find myself questioning whether I can even continue with this podcast. The other two guys are amazing and wonderful. Pete has got to go. He’s the WORST!

Riverdale is a beast of a show, I cannot imagine the work that goes into recapping it every week. And you guys do a stellar job. Rarely do you miss a beat on a show that runs through 6 plot points before the title card. So much happens in every episode with very little consequences. It’s almost impossible to remember every little detail. That’s why I love coming here and listening to the podcast after each episode. No other Riverdale podcast gets it right. I also appreciate Pete’s love for Betty Cooper. Like same.

I listen to you guys after every episode, and you make me laugh so much. I watched all of Riverdale when there were only 3 seasons and found this podcast. I love the show the same way you guys do. They have great rapport with each other, they are so funny, and at the same time they genuinely care about the show. It's such a treat to listen to them, especially when it's been a hard week and I just want something uplifting and warmhearted. Love them - long may they podcast!

I’m pretty sure the show runners listen to this podcast, there are too many coincidences. For an example the song Veronica sings with Chad is “After Dark”, these guys called Bughead “Endgame” a month before the show did, it’s pretty awesome.

While other media ridicules Riverdale and its (largely teenage) fanbase, Alex, Justin, and Pete gleefully revel in the show as it is: campy, bizarre, and an utter delight. Riverdale takes such huge leaps, throws everything into chaos, and then manages to make it work, and this podcast really appreciates it on the same level that I do. They feel like a group of friends that I can turn to when no one else understands how funny Penelope coming out of those bushes was, and when other publications glob onto surface level plot like “Archie joins the army!” Thanks for always making my week guys!

I love listening to this Riverdale podcast. This is absolutely my favorite of any others that cover the Riverdale antics. I fully prepare and listen to their breakdown of each episode. They are very thorough, each have their own notes and deliver in a comedic way! It absolutely helps that these guys are comedians because I’ve gotta say, I crack up often! Keep up the good work guys, I love these recaps and reviews every week and I sometimes listen to them before each episode (I’m a sucker for spoilers) and when I know a new episode is coming out I get really excited for a new episode of Riverdale After Dark. And hell yeah I sing along to their theme song, the bells are haunting and catchy af ⭐️

The comic book club guys are funny and good recappers. I’m so glad I found them. I listened to other recaps and these guys actually seem to enjoy the shows they recap - which seems obvious, but isn’t always the case.

I think this is a very nice podcast these men are awesome and funny. I enjoy hearing this but I have a small complain to make about swearing. Other than that the podcast is awesome and I absolutely love it!

I listen to quite a few Riverdale podcasts and the guys here at After Dark are by far the best. They TRULY understand the show and are always able to call back on certain things and make connections I would have never thought of. I always listen to them first and then my other ones and am disappointed by how surface the other podcasts are. They actually know what they are talking about and it does a great service to the listener. I look forward to listening on my commute to work every Thursday! BETTY ALL DAY ERRRR-DAY!!!!

I’m obsessed with this show! I have gone through and listened to every episode even though I only found this show a few months ago. This is the third riverdale podcast I have listened to and the guys on the show make the best guesses and most thoughtful predictions out of all of them! Listening to this show makes watching riverdale even more enjoyable. I look forward to each episode. I really enjoy the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina coverage. The guys are hilarious and make my day! I joined the Patreon group to check out the message boards. Team Pete! Also, I’m dying for a “Bad boy alert” shirt! (Sabrina related shirt).

This podcast is such a fun companion piece to Riverdale! I don't think I would have made it through season 2 of the show without it. It is the perfect balance of summarizing each episode and light hearted poking fun at the ridiculousness of the story. I truly laugh out loud through each episode. These guys genuinely enjoy the show and play off each other so well. I can't recommend this podcast enough, as well as the many other podcasts they create!

A fun dive into the show that is Riverdale. Somehow this podcast offers both insightful and tongue in cheek views of the show. They’re funny, smart, and yet have a tendency to wander far from where the path actually lies. All of the guys are enjoyable but I’m quite partial to Pete as he keeps the podcast on track, and tends to be Team Betty, as I myself am. However I also get great joy in listening to Justin and Alex rag on him. They seem to be a good group of friends and the chemistry is strong among them. If you want a good Riverdale podcast and enjoy a bit of laughter and sarcasm I would highly recommend this!! On a side note/tangent much like the ones Alex and Justin like to take in the show, I’ve been on the lookout for a good Preacher podcast and can’t wait to try their’s out when season 3 airs!

This is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to and that's saying something because I'm a podcast junkie! These guys are just hilarious together - you can tell they've been friends for a while because they have that easy rapport that's so hard to imitate. Love that they somehow provide a fairly complete recap of each ep with their opinions on various developments, while dropping tons of jokes and making fun of each other - all in a short 30 minutes! Honestly I wish it was longer but I suppose you shouldn't fix what ain't broke. Keep up the great work! Love your podcast, and that everyone seems to have a different opinion on theories and characters. That being said, I find I agree with Pete 99% of the time. So he's obviously the smartest and most informed about the show.
