I listened to ten minutes and knew this would be a bad podcast

The Season 1 hosts were terrible ... “I loved this” and “I hated that” does not amount to analysis. But they brought in 2 new hosts for seasons 2 & 3 and they do a much better job. They go to great lengths to research the many references from literature, philosophy and pop culture that the writer, Noah Hanley, sprinkles throughout his shows. My only criticism might be that they liked Season 3 much more than I did, to the point where I felt like they were acting more like fans than critics of the show, fawning over plots and characters which I (and much of the internet) thought had big problems.

Love the perspective and insight after watching each episode.

The hosts do a marvelous job of breaking down character, plot, and call backs! Their discussion is seamless and enhances my enjoyment of this fantastic show. Wish they were hosting The Americans.

Just wanted to take a minute to compliment the host & staff of the Fargo Season 3 Aftershow. Lex, Dave & Tara do a fantastic job. I am new to the aftershow poderverse and I find myself looking forward to the Afterbuzz Show as much as the actual Fargo episode. Keep up the good work.

I legitimately don't understand the bad reviews for this podcast. Maybe there were different hosts in the earlier seasons or lower sound quality. I'm listening for season 3 and they're one of my favorite Fargo podcasts. They have much more intelligent and interesting analyses of each episode than the podcast whose hosts think the movie/show are actually based on true stories. Great aftershow!

I've loved all Fargo -- film and TV seasons. This podcast is making Season 3 even better. Keep up the good work!

Good analysis, but not everyone has seen the first season. I had to stop listening because there are far too many first season spoilers. PLEASE don't have so many spoilers next season!

Great new host for a great season 2! The gentlemen reviewing bring a great passion for the writing, themes, references and acting. Keep up the great work, I’m watching.

Really enjoy the show, and the hosts insight. They do not talk down to their listeners, and especially this season, they have made the connection to the first season with it being Lou's story, which I did not pick up on right away. I'll have to re-watch season 1 to pick up on clues for this season, and am especially looking forward to what Sioux Falls incident is. Keep up the Great Work.

Ok I must admit I was not a fan of the original season 1 panel. It seemed that they didn't pay close attention to each episode. I believe if you are going to do an after-show you should at least be interested in the content you are discussing. I made it halfway thru the season before I finally gave up on listening to the after-show. Now it's the start of season 2 and come to find out after us does not even have a panel for season 2.... Hey maybe that is a good thing.

whay no season 2?

I'm usually a fan of after buzz but this group really dropped the ball. I didn't want to believe most of the reviews on here but man were they right. These people were bad. Specifically the guy with the higher voice, I want to say David. Fargo is a universally acclaimed show and they managed the one guy who hated it. Why even have him on here? What a waste of a panel. Just constant bashing on the show. I'm not even sure he was watching the same thing we were. And the rest of the group wasn't that much better. After buzz managed to find the few people who actually disliked this show. The only one that I did enjoy (and why i gave this two stars) was the guest they had every now and then. I think his name was jb. He was the only one who admitted to actually enjoying the series at the end. And you could tell with all the insight he provided. Note for next season, create a new panel and bring back only that guy as a host. They said they host American horror story as well and that just makes me sad. Haven't listened to the other seasons of ahs but if this was any indication then I'm not looking forward to it.

Admittedly, I am only comparing this AfterBuzz show to 3 others I've seen. But, this panel is the best I've seen so far. For having only watched the episode moments before taping, the commentators do a fantastic job of breaking down the show to dissect the meanings to ponder/discuss. I especially like the research done on the titles of each episode. Very interesting. Keep up the good work!

How can a crew be as misinformed as these ladies? I can't believe how much time they spend talking about things that are factually incorrect within the show. I feel bad giving such a bad review, but I honestly feel like I could do a better podcast, even though I have zero experience podcasting.

Other reviewers are correct about the errors this podcast crew makes about the show. I can live with that since they do provide other insight. My biggest complaint is why does it take so long to come out with the next episode. It’s Saturday already - for chrissake.

I love this podcast but the last two episodes won't play on my iPhone. Is anyone else having this problem?

This maybe the worst after buzz podcast ever! Can not Stand the female host Oriana. It seems like she doesn't even watch the show. Hate the fact that she tries to use big complicated words on her description of things, it doesn't make you sound smarter doing that, Oriana! Tried to stick with this podcast cause the tv show is great but it's really unlistenable

I know they say they rush in and do the podcast right after the episode aires and some of them take notes. I am just not certain if they are watching the same show I am. I must have heard "maybe our fans can help us out" like twenty times . They really don't have anything insightfull to say. I subscribe to alot of Afterbuzz tv podcast and these folks are the worst don't ca know.

Many mistakes in the podcast ... not knowing if a character is the same character? Glenn Howerton is pretty famous. This podcast is all fluff. I am done.

There are a lot of people who did not see the movie and are watching the TV show I don't know the directions are going with the TV show but please stop comparing it to a movie and giving out spoilers

People need to chill. This is a new show. They need to find their way. We are only 3 shows in. This show is great. Keep up the good work guys.

There was SO much misinformation that I could not finish either episode.

I think this show is going to prove to be a wonderfully dark comedy. I listen to 4-5 other Afterbuzz podcasts and by far this is the poorest in regards to the cast that is talking about the show. The number of just flat out mistakes they are making regarding what is actually shown on the screen and not open to interpretation is staggering. They speak in the second podcast about this being based on a true story, the opening doesn’t say that, it says, “THIS IS A TRUE STORY”. There is a huge difference between those two statements. This was the most glaring example. I’m not going to do a point by point (but I could), but anybody listening, that actually watched the show and paid attention will catch them quite easily. The other podcasts I listen to on Afterbuzz, generally speaking, take a linear approach to dissecting the episodes. This crew is all over the place, there doesn’t appear to be any format, other than there is no format. No one on the cast is in charge of keeping the conversation on topic. While I find the differences between Hasidic and Orthodox Jews religious practices fascinating, five minutes of the podcast was wasted on this topic on what could be a throw away character. Might not end up being a throw away, when we find out then lets talk more about the character. Until then let it go. Oh and the female that said the character Molly is pushing too hard regarding the case, what are you thinking, she’s a cop, thats her job, that is what she is supposed to do. Do we say that Vincent D’Onofrio’s character in Law and Order is pushing to hard to solve the case, is it because she is a woman? This is what good cops do. Please, Please, Please transfer the Afterbuzz cast from the Justified podcast to this one, they are fantastic and know how to discuss television intelligently.

Aw geeze where to begin. Afterbuzz always gives a great show. I give it 5 "You Bethcha"s out of 5.
