    Well worth financial support
The Light of September is one of the podcasts that’s so good that I donate money to keep it going (via http://www.radiostatic.co.uk). The Light of September consistently delivers on all 5 of the elements I listen for in audio drama — engaging scripts, writers who know their craft, believable characters, naturalistic voice actors, and cinematic production values.

    Intriguing!
We're in early days as I write this, but we've already met interesting (and hilarious) characters and opened up some interesting questions which I'll have to stay tuned to unfold. Fantastic voice acting from the likes of Tamsin Greig & Sylvester McCoy and a very intriguing storyline kicking off...

Hm, not going to be up to par with MoC it seems.
If I had known the episodes would only be 10 minutes long, I think I would have serious hesitations in funding such a venture especially when their previous foray the "Minister of Chance" was more indepth. While Big Finish certainly has a long standing experience and moneys behind their company, I believe I recall them stating it takes 7500 pounds to produce a two hour long story. Radiostatic wanted to crowdfund 2500-3000 pounds for the first episode and compared to that it doesn't seem we would be getting our money's worth in the end. While the overall story may have promise, I do not see this business model going very far giving us very tiny snippets of the story in-between recordings. If much of the money is going towards "Piss off" McCoy for two-three minutes of actual run time, I think we could seriously do much better than that.

    Excellent! Leaves you wanting MORE!!!
The Light Of September is BRILLIANT!! The lush sounds, music, acting, directing is absolutely top notch. The surround sound is amazing. At one point, I couldn't tell where the voices were coming from. It didn't even sound like it was in the earphone. Excellent effect! The international casting is a stroke of genius by the Director/Writer, Dan Freeman. I enjoyed hearing the interplay of accents throughout the cast, as well as the big names of the actors associated with this audio movie. (And those that had a "speak a line" perk. Yay, me!) The story is captivating, and will make you wonder just what this crew is going to encounter on their cruise. Very cool! It made me smile, probably waaaaaay more than it should have, to hear Sylvester McCoy use some explicit language in his scenes. His character is a treat. The only problem I felt is that it left me wanting MORE...NOW!!!!! I guess you could say I'm addicted! Well done Radiostatic (Dan, Deb) cast and crew. This is a winner!!
