    Fantasy meets The A Team
With a female leader. I have listened to a LOT of podio books this one ranks up there with "The Trader Tails" & "Shadow Magic." I would give it 10 stars if I could!

    Amazing - Again....
The second book in the Emperor's Edge series is fantastic. I love the character development as the story progresses. It is definitely worth anyones time to listen.

    Uninspiring relationships!
It annoyed me in the first book and now it is full-blown aggravating how obsessed with zakarious the main heroine is. He does not reciprocate in anyway and clearly has no morals and isn't anything besides ruthless and she still loves him. The part where she blathers about reasons why a woman could love him had me gritting my teeth. Also the other characters are two dimensional as well except books who despite the gradeschool nickname is a better developed character. Anyways, the irrationality of the main heroines thoughts and feeling got to be too much to ignore so I stopped listening halfway through. Too bad.

    Love it!
A fantastic series!! If you haven't read the Emperor's Edge, read it now! This is the second book in a wonderfully well-written series with fully fleshed out characters and superp narration. I simply can't wait for book three. This series is not to be missed. Well done Lindsay for writing a wonderful series..and well done Starla for your flawless narration! Bravo to you both!
