John always makes me think and then laugh. Given the local “news” is so biased, I think I am better informed with John’s deep dives into the local news.

Are used to listen to this show for the disagreements between Tom and John. Since Tom left, I feel like the show lost its core strength where it’s now mainly the John Curley show with some differing opinion. I always appreciated listening to this show for perspectives on both the right and left. I found other podcasts that do that more effectively.

I’ve been listening since John found his way on the station. New listeners may not get the inside jokes but that’s what makes it great! I feel a bond for both John and Shari and hope the show keeps going for years to come!

I absolutely love this show! John is incredible showman/storyteller and Sherri witty, unflappable and the perfect partner for John! Just a heads up, the show is filled with inside jokes that may take a little time to catch on to

John reminds me a bit of Adam Carolla. Sharp dude, crappy student, leans conservative. Shari has good rapport with him. Note: podcast updates daily. It’s 4 episodes but the 1st and 4th episode have the same content from what I can tell. Weird.

The only good part of the show is the logical and good hearted mind of John Curley. The rest of the liberal minded show from Tom, Hanna, and Rachel Bell all act leftist elitists that if you don’t think like them then your just an idiot. They are like people who come out of the cellar after a tornado and their house is ok but the rest of the neighborhood is destroyed and say that there is nothing wrong here. If the rest of the neighborhood was ok and their house was destroyed they would think the world is coming to and end. Take John off the show and watch the ratings tank. John thanks for all you do especially your warm giving soul!!! Update: I thought they took Rachel Bell off the show but she was just gone for a bit. That’s the beauty of this podcast I just fast forward through it. If they would get rid of Tom and that liberal reporter Hanna Scott then the show would be awesome. The whole liberal vs conservative doesn’t work because liberals are feelings over facts and are just on the scale of Marxism. Also anyone who supports Hollywood at this point is part of the problem. John all you have to do is your own podcast and it would take off and you wouldn’t have to bow down to corporate sponsors.

Just another right wing news show now. Not much left without Tom.

I’ve been listening to Tom and Curley since their beginning 12ish years ago. I’ve laughed with them and really appreciated how opposite ends of the spectrum could really come together and chat about life and politics and still walk away friends. From Curley’s strange yet funny childhood memories and his views on life to Tom’s level headed views and banter, they really even each other out. I’m sad Tom is retiring but I hope he gets all the croissants he can handle and Curley doesn’t turn into a rambling maniac alone in his cabin jumping into the cold water every morning. Oh wait. Anyways, I’m sad but all good things come to an end and we’re better off for getting to hear them in the first place.

Tom has some bad vocal ticks. Lots of mumbling, “Uhms”, “uhs”, interrupting, and hard to follow speech. Pretty naive, perhaps on purpose. I listen, while sometimes excessive, for John. I like his energy, clear speech, and wit.

What is Mike Curley’s issue about the storming of the capital today. He muddys the water about antifa be responsible. Really?

Tom has been allowed to destroy a once great show with his strong liberal opinion. Curley is great but is overpowered with all the other liberals chiming in who are supposed to be ‘reporters’ (Hannah Scott and others). The new liberal management is destroying KIRO. Dori Monson is the only good show left.

Any one else cringe when he says Washingtonians

I absolutely love this show, but I don't know why the podcast version is packed to the gills with advertising interruptions. It's just audio from the show, on a station that already has too much advertising, they didn't need to screw it up in podcast form too.

I finally figured out why John Curley is so mean hearted. It’s because his mother doesn’t love him. He visited her and told her he’d be back in the morning he she told him not to bother. That’s why John is always squeezing the last word in before going to breaks and tormenting everyone he can. Such a shame but so much fun to listen to his garbage...

As a former employee of a sub contractor of sound transit I just want to say the light rail system is nothing more than welfare program for over paid engineers who would be out of work by selling mass transit to cities that no one will use.

Rachel Bell is the most annoying personality on KIRO. We get it. Your bubbly and Jewish. Why do I need reminded that you’re a girl and Jewish and corky? She is not funny at all.

These two are a match made in radio talk show purgatory. They deserve each other like a older married couple. I listen to them when ever I can ! 😎

I throughly enjoy these guys, I'm living in the Philippines and this brings me back home.

A lovable cast with distinct personalities and views. I swear I've wet my pants from laughter at least half a dozen times. Well worth the time!

John Curley is a rare radio talent, and I enjoy Tom Tangney's reviews and gentle humor. I listen to a lot of radio and podcasts, and this is one of my very favorites.
