The Telekom ad encouraging users to upgrade to the iPhone 12 that ran during the cobalt mining episode, transcended irony and sadly reeked of hypocrisy. Sigh.

Technology good or bad is not the question. Finally editors who understand the myths of value neutrality. Beautiful story telling, provocative metaphors, images that make the zeros and ones come to life. Excellent choices regarding what matters most and compelling reasons why. Thank you. Just listened to “Bots to Date for Us.” I love her honesty and open uncomfortableness with the tech. She’s not making the inventor, I forget his name, feel good just because he’s a guest. She’s honest and this is the journalism we need. Hosts don’t have to love every idea and glorify every guest. Sometimes your gut reaction is best. I’m impressed

This is also the only podcast I’ve listened to more than once—so thoughtfully researched and organized, incredible expert sources and interviewees, never dooms-day-ish or alternatively extolling the unequivocal good of “progress.” It’s A brilliant investigation of the next frontiers of AI as well as the consequences of innovation (both good and bad), accessible for those new to the topic but also incredibly insightful for those who are already well versed. The hosts’—Karah and Oz’s—dynamic is another reason to keep coming back. Both so funny and intelligent and natural. Five stars.

This show is so interesting! The way they talk about it and the positives and problems with China! I’m only on the third episode and I can’t stop! I’ve already told my brother and n law who is a techie like me.

Love the themes explored in each episode, the intersection of AI/tech development and all sorts of potential impacts it may have on humanity is just fascinating. I love that they explore both potential alarming risks, as well as opportunities for AI to have positive impacts. For some topics that may feel so far removed from our every day life, their ability to make all of the content so intriguing is quite impressive. I’m to the point of repeating episodes.

This is a very well made show with alarming content. It deals thoughtfully with some of the many issues that AI raises. From job loss due to automation to facial recognition enabling a police state to the dangers of power concentration in companies such as Amazon, this series considers some concerning possibilities.

Amazing but we want more episodes

It’s a good podcast that is dragged down by the long wait time between seasons. Making podcasts seasonal like a TV show is extremely absurd. The trend needs to end, if the industry has any hope of keeping the consumers attention anyway.

There are very few podcasts I have listened to more than once. Sleepwalkers is one of the few. It is thought provoking, scary, intriguing and unnerving. The hosts are great - love Oz’s voice! I have recommended the podcast to friends, family and co-workers. Can’t wait for the next season.

Great voices, great music, and the content is amazing! I listen to this podcast while driving for Lyft and Uber and it really gets passengers thinking and also myself. Keep it up! I would love to hear more and more!

I thought that this has been extremely thought provoking. Whenever new technology comes on the scene in human history (electricity during the Industrial Revolution, DNA sequencing in ancestry/crime/health related fields, and so on), creative uses for the newest technology tend to pop up in all sorts of unexpected arenas-- both for altruistic and more nefarious purposes. This has already influenced changes in some personal choices I make with my own data, but also makes me thing more seriously about the veracity of the purported story/article/video/audio recording that I am viewing. Really fascinating. Very well done, and extremely timely.

This show sheds light on aspects of how AI is and will continue to affect our society, highlighting many potentially troubling factors. Very informative and thought provoking.

Learning how technology is growing around us has always intrigued me. Mostly because I know it’s a force that can’t stop and I want to make it work for me not against me. This podcast seems to address how tech can benefit us.

I was diggin' it till the loud voice person came along. Pass for now.

This is a fantastically interesting podcast. The questions we hear around us everyday about how technology is affecting us... this tackles them head on with guests who know what they are talking about, from inside Google etc. Smart but compelling and easy to follow. Bring on the next episode!

Come back in ten years after this podcast predicted it.
