I've been listening to Nerd Nuptial for about a year, and I love it. Tristan and The Girl have great chemistry which makes listening to them discuss the things they love a joy.

This podcast is one of my favorites to listen too. I love your detailed reviews and hearing about your family. My wife and I are going through the same struggles with IVF and it’s nice to hear someone talk about it. Thanks for the hard work.

Wonderful podcast. Tristian and The Girl bring fun insight to all your favorite nerdy topics and give you plenty of laughs along the way. And if that weren’t enough, Tristan and The Girl give us a window into their marriage, from their adorable “meet cute” to the wedding day all the way to the birth of their daughter, the Riddells bring you along for the ride of their lives. In a whole internet of cynics and crass podcasts hosts, we all need a few more chances to enjoy the movies and people we love.

I have listened to Tristan on many different podcasts both on The Nerd Party and TrekFM. When he started this podcast, it was exciting to finally hear "the girl" that he always mentioned on air. Their commentary is refreshing, always honest, and genuine. No matter the topic, I always want to hear what they have to say...particularly when they disagree (which is rare). I look forward to every episode and can't wait to see what they have in store for the future.

Tristan and the girl are so much fun to listen to. They are very thoughtful, funny and passionate about this nerd life. Highly recommend to any fellow nerds out there looking for people talking about nerd stuff.

A podcast on nerdy married life! A fun listen for anyone who's married, not married, for the nerdy and the not so nerdy. There's so many great chats on this podcast, each one fun. Tristan and the Girl are so easy to listen to and their banter is genuinly funny and sweet. While my wife isn't quite as nerdy as the Girl this podcast makes me appreciate my wife all the more for her acceptance of my ultra nerdyness and her efforts to grow in her nerd life. My wife and I have enjoyed listening so much that we're consdering the name 'Tristan' for our second born son. May I ask Tristan what was it like growing up with his name? Thanks guys! I followed host Tristan R. over here from Trek.fm's "To The Journey" podcast, and boy am I glad I did. This is quite an amazing podcast that he and his wife, "The Girl," have here. Their chemistry is phenomenal, taste impeccable, and backlog of episodes more binge-worthy than a new season of House of Cards. Newlyweds, take note. This is a marriage done right!

If you are looking for a clever, fun, entertaining, and all around terrific podcast look no farther. The two hosts have a truly fun, corky, and genuine chemistry, that light up every episode. Even if you are unfamiliar with, or have no idea, what shows, movies, or other facets of "nerd culture" they are discussing, the show is always entertaining. They have a wide variety of topics, a broad range of nerdy interests, the aforementioned married hosts work verbal magic together, and are very family-friendly. Enjoy.

This is a great show - I like the range of topics this endearing couple covers. It's always best to talk about something with a close friend -- with your married partner, is even better! It's like being invited to a nerdy dinner party with the couple down the street - Tristan and the Girl are the best.

I just got through listening to the episode about Stranger Things and totally enjoyed the episode. This is my first episode to listen to. Now time to catch up on the rest! The host are very informative and funny at same time. Give this show a try you will like it!!

I started listening to Tristan on "To the Journey" and I heard him talking about this show and loved it. Keep up the good work! Topic Suggestion: I thought it would be interesting to hear you guys talk about the change in films and TV shows between the generations. As a teacher, I've noticed a big difference in what I liked as a teen and what my students like now. As the Girl is a teacher as well, I thought you guys might have an interesting perspective.

I will admit the name of the podcast caught my attention. Intrigued I wanted to know more about this. So by the end of the first podcast I downloaded I was hooked. I have been looking for a podcast that holds my attention longer than 2 episodes, posts frequently and has relevence to common day pop culture. This podcast does it! This husband and wide duo interact great together and give the good/ bad to whatever topic they are talking about. Even if you are not up on all things nerd, they will bring you up to date and may even get you to want to watch/rewatch something. I listen to them at work and it helps keep me awake as well as entertained. Not to mention they get me geeked on what is to come. Good job Tristan and The Girl!

I just listened most of the way through the X-files reboot episode and what you had to say about the ways the reboot failed was really astute. However, you go on and on about yourselves throughout the episode - what your movie going rituals are was the worst part of this - and it’s clear that you’re really into each other and yourselves as a couple. That’s great! Just be aware that people out in listening land are not as into you just because we’re into the topics of your shows.

Okay, yes, half of this duo is male, but I'm utterly thrilled to have a female voice added to The Nerd Party's collection of podcasts. Not only do we have geek girl representation, she's intelligent, insightful and engaging to listen to, so please pardon me Tristan for singing ALL THE PRAISES of The Girl. I like you both, and together you've made a great team to talk about nerd life together!

I think what encapsulates your podcast is your sign off. It’s the first thing I told my wife when I was sharing what a great podcast I had discovered. I think the personal touch you guys put forward in sharing your history only connects your listeners. I went into the film program at Biola University and during the summers I worked in the Sequoias at Hume Lake Christian Camps in my summers. This is where I met my future wife and we would spend are time in my 99’ Camry watching shows on my laptop. Heres the great thing though, you don’t have to have these parallels to love this podcast. There are many podcasts that discuss entertainment but what you want is that chemistry. I love my wife and we bonded over Lost, I got her to love TNG, and I told her the meaningful nature of an almost empty theater to actually enjoy the film. Alas, she hated Breaking Bad, and watches the likes of NCIS and Criminal Minds. My point, married people have chemistry, but these two exemplify chemistry in their analysis of programming. Thank you for a great podcast.

They understand the balance of having a bias but also playing Devil's Advocate. Lovely commentary. Would not be the same without it. Riddell Foundation all the way.

These 2 have definitely made my commute to work and back that much more fun. They have great quirky chemistry and are really fun to listen to! Really enjoy their perspective on the shows and the way they sometimes disagree with each other in a playful manner. I found this podcast because I was looking for a show that reviewed Season 4 of House of Cards. These people were the first I found to have done it. I love their dynamic. Will listen again.
