I recently submitted a review expressing disappointment with the discussion of Bonnie’s race and its impact on her experience. I never expected it to be read, much less be addressed on the pod. The hosts addressed the feedback in a very thoughtful and respectful manner. I have continued to listen and really enjoy the pod.

OK so just finished listening to your first two episodes re season one. Jenni: love your rawness and passion. Axel: have enjoyed your commentary on GOT which brought me to this podcast. You two are great together. I look forwad to catching up with season two and then listening to your reviews!

Podcasts today often sound like a group of people coming together to gossip about their thoughts on the show and lack the analysis that this podcast offers. Axel and Jenni both do such a good job being personable while also staying track. I genuinely love tuning in to this podcast every week. Thanks!

Axel and Jenny have a great interplay. Axel’s analysis uses his technical knowledge of filmmaking to support the meaning that he’s uncovering. Jenny builds off of that and adds texture, asks great questions, and poses relevant, interesting facts. They notice the details that you missed, and they tell you why the details matter. They are conversational and funny.

This podcast is so great. Easily the best podcast covering one of the best shows, Big Little Lies. I love how they both have different perspectives on things and lots of things that I didn’t pick up on. Great show, and great podcast. Give it a listen!

Was just recently introduced to “after the show” style podcasts during final GOT season and got hooked. Listened to another podcast about Big Little Lies and was totally turned off. Thank goodness I found these two. Both offer interesting analysis. Love Axel’s cinematography background and his commentary on how camera angles and sound/lack of sound impact a scene. Now I look for that as well. Also love they don’t feel need to drop F bomb after F bomb to sound “authentic” as some podcasters do. Recommend!

I might not agree with every interpretation this duo has to offer, but I love listening to them rehash each episode (or the first season). Sometimes they bring things to my attention that I didn’t notice when I watched the show—makes me want to watch it again. If you’re into Big Little Lies you will want to spread the enjoyment a bit more and listen to this podcast.

I just listened to the first podcast and loved it. Fun podcast about a group of characters only their mothers could love. The hosts aren’t afraid to call out the characters on their BS and revel in the actors mesmerizing performances. Another win for the DVR Podcast Network.
