    ONLY. WEIRD. GAMES!
*** *UPDATE* I’m bummed to lose this show in its current format, but I’m very thankful that the four of us (I’m counting myself as a participant while I listen) will enjoy many more hours of quality time in the near future. Thanks for everything!**** This has quickly become my favorite Chiefs podcast. The chemistry between Nate, Josh, and Seth brings a special energy and levity to every moment of every show. You three are a joy to spend my commutes with. Thank you all, but mostly thank Danielle for making it happen.
  • Double H15
This is the best podcast I’ve ever listened to.
When I heard Josh say that it was the last episode I was shocked I hoped it was a joke but as it’s not I feel I should write a review. I listened to every episode and each and every one is amazing! I am so sad to see it go away. If you are nostalgic for older chiefs seasons I can’t recommend anything else more. They are all super funny and all have different good insights and coverage. It’s an amazing pod!

    Like others have said..
Way too much bantering, laughing, shrieking, inside jokes, etc… if you take that out you get about 10 minutes of solid content. They write good content/Twitter analysis but not so great radio/podcast.
  • Rob_Chiefs_Fan_in_Nashville
    Good content… but
One of the worst episode occurred on 8/17/23. I skipped through 45m of the 60m show and they failed to talk about anything specifically relating to the worst. Typically, it’s only a 10m skip, but today was extra special.

Three Chiefs experts when they stick to football
I love all three of these guys and listen to them regularly on KC airwaves. I also interact with them on Twitter (or X). All three bring great insight and will interact with fans. They are also super nice guys and very knowledgeable on the Chiefs. I want to give this 5 stars but as others have observed, they spend the first 15-20 minutes cracking jokes and talking about anything but the Chiefs. I typically skip the first 15-20 minutes of this show and find a spot when they aren’t laughing and are breaking down the team. From that point in it is terrific. The laughter is only reason I rate this behind Red Gold and Bold, but I listen to both every week. Every Chiefs fan should check this out.

    Below average
Waste of time. More football less talk about the hosts.

    Did they cancel this podcast???
These guys haven’t posted a new episode in almost 6 weeks. I understand there’s not very much going on but there was no announcement that I can tell, there’s nothing on the athletic website, and they are silent on Twitter. What’s the deal?

    Please stop
I want to enjoy this show but it’s just so hard. They bring good information sometimes but go off on tangents that aren’t funny, and Nate feels like screaming for no reason at all. Josh seems to bring nothing to the group and Seth talks like the oldest 30 something year old. Also we can all hear you typing and stop it!

Nate: “Billionaires don’t like to work hard.”
Nate was long-winded, tedious, and boring
  • DirtyDupe
    Seth is the best
Nate interrupts and his voice is not good for podcasting. Scaling down his presence and boosting Seth’s would improve this quite a bit

    Fans Hanging Out
This has been my first full season listening to Time's Ours all the way from training camp to Super Bowl, and it's now my favorite podcast. Hanging out with the guys on my work commute, I always learn more about the game and the team as they break down the mechanics of Chiefs football while also making VeggieTales jokes.

    Happy Sad
This is hands down my fav Chiefs podcast. Every year around July, I get really happy, cause football is back. And every year after the draft, I get sad, because football is gone for several months. Now I’m looking forward to draft coverage. Thanks for another great year guys.

Nate’s High-Pitch Voice Schtick Ruins It, “obviously”
Seth and Joshua are great. And Nate has a lot of great info and insights. The problem is that Nate increasingly uses his high-pitch screaming thing. He seems to think it’s amusing. It’s not. It is about the most cringe thing I’ve ever heard. Fingernails on a chalkboard. I will be back to listen regularly when Nate finally figures out that nobody wants to hear this ridiculous thing. And lately Nate has started saying “obviously” about ten times per minute. If he thinks everything he’s saying is “obvious” why is he wasting his time and ours communicating it? Nate is very good in print but he has a long way to go as an audio broadcaster.

Like A Pill Hidden In Cheese…
I’m a life long Chiefs fan. My first memory of Arrowhead is a preseason game in the mid-90’s when my step-dad drove our extremely used Mazda truck across Missouri in late August, stopping to let the radiator explode and refill it to drive a bit farther. It was the final preseason game. The starting QB? Steve Bono, fresh off a 13-3 season on their way to a not as good season. I slept the whole way back, about 3 hours. I tell that story because the three hosts of this show clearly understand that kind of love for this team and how central the Chiefs are to so many stories like that. Plus, the information is really, really good and it’s packaged in a fun (and sometimes reaching funny) banter of fans who have the ability to step out of their fandom to provide excellent analysis. And it’s hosted by Joshua Briscoe, who also is there.

    Wonderful Things
I love what each dude brings to the table on this show. Nate - The one with actual understanding and knowledge of things that happen around the organization and locker room. Also very good at articulating said things, albeit typically with noises and sounds rather than words. 😂 Josh - The Point Guard that’s directs the floor and puts guys in position to score. Also the one who often has to try and pull the show back into relevance and information (while also being 1/2 the reason it went off the tracks in the first place). Seth - The guy who legitimately seems like he would be easy to talk to about the chiefs for 3 days nonstop while also being able to break down player film and (insert Micheal Scott meme) explain it to me like I’m 5. (Also the other 1/2 of why the show gets off the tracks, but is forgiven because of his shared undying love of Jamaal Charles and what he did in his time in the NFL.)

    The Travis Kelce of podcasts
I’m an old mom in KC with two sons absolutely crazy about Chiefs football. I knew nothing about the sport until a few years ago when I started listening to football podcasts to learn more so I could bond with them over their interest. I tried and unfollowed many, many podcasts full of macho bros trying to relive their high school or college ball glory days. The Time’s Ours crew, however, stayed and climbed up my “must listen” playlist quickly. They are able to merge high level football knowledge with a friendly, unrepentant-Chiefs-homer vibe. I have learned so much about the sport from these three without feeling like I need a PhD in statistics to keep up. And, even better, I get to share the nuggets I learn with my tween son, who now sees me as a bona fide Chiefs expert. Thank you! PS: please bring Nate’s dad back.

The sole reason I remain a chiefs fan outside of Mahomes
I followed you guys at the beginning and have seen RTK go from Josh to Tucker to Jordan to... Well, we won't talk about that. I enjoy all the goofiness from Seth and subscribe to a black Friday like deal for the in-depth stuff I need KC. I enjoy the Nate Taylor soundboard and Josh has been an absolute joy no matter if he's on radio, almost anything sports (miss those daily episodes) or on times ours maintaining the chaos. Cheers to a first round RB when we win this SB as it's tradition. Someone check on josh...

Funny, but only to a small inner circle
I subscribe to the Northman and The Athletic but as a group this cocktail is just not that funny. Apparently, they think they are. Always seem to go off on tangents that lead to “silly”, “uninteresting”, “esoterica”. Am I too old to “get it”? Perhaps. Can’t quite finish listening to an entire podcast. Here’s a reflection point to try guys: try listening to your own podcasts. My suggestion is to draw straws and odd one out goes home with their toys — recruit some dude good at stirring the pot and keeping the others on their collective toes.

Tried it a couple times, wasn’t my thing. Nice to meet you guys… JUST KIDDING!!!
This podcast provides quality content on a consistent basis. The hosts go on hilarious tangents while keeping expert analysis at the show’s core. In support of Seth’s take that punts are indeed turnovers, I would like to lobby for punts, from now on, being called “toe-novers”. Great work gentleman, and extend Chris Jones!

    My Favorite Chiefs Podcast
I don't typically leave reviews, but after hearing the most recent episode (02/02/23) I feel compelled to. Most of the 'good' Chiefs podcasts are prescriptive and sometimes the hosts sound more like bad radio personalities than real guys talking about the greatest franchise in the NFL. What makes Time's Ours so great is their ability to make you feel like you're hanging out with your friends talking Chiefs. You're all personable, make it fun, and you're not constantly posturing during the conversation which is what you get from a lot of other shows. This show has it all. If you don't give a 5 star review then you obviously hate hippos...and that's sad. Make these guys happy, let them laugh and be merry. Also, don't leave dumb 4 star reviews and talk about your own problems with joy and laughter, it's just a bad look.

    Chief of the Rockies
Such a great podcast. Nate is an astute analyst and journalist for the Athletic, Seth is a periodic participant limited by his professional prosecutorial career with his own Chiefs newsletter, and Josh is pretty good too, he keeps the show on the rails except when he doesn’t just like his sports talk show on 810 WHB. Lots of laughs and great Chiefs insights. Seriously they’re all three just like your buddies from way back - the ones you spend hours catching up with and would do anything for. Definitely need more Papa Taylor content, he has the best takes, love how you’ve included him. Here’s a toast to y’all for many more years of podcasts full of championships.
  • Amber S (S7149125)
This Rating is Real and definitely NOT trying to make these guys feel better
Hands-down the best chiefs podcast. I smile the whole time I listen. The laughs are great. They don’t take things too seriously. You can tell they are authentic and genuinely good people. Also, people need to stop hurting Seth’s feelings with negative reviews. :D

    Best Chiefs Podcast
This is by far the best Chiefs podcast out there. I happened to stumble across them over 2 years ago, and since then they have introduced me to other Chiefs content, but this is the show that I look forward to the most every week. It’s filled with fun inside stories, amazing analysis of the game or the overall NFL, and they have a great time doing it. You will hear about the greatness of Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, and Travis Kelce along with how vicious cows REALLY are, and to wrap it up, you’ll hear how a Chiefs touchdown reminds them of VeggieTales characters (which is near and dear to my heart) or Seth will undoubtedly find an Old Testament anology to whatever the Chiefs are going through and it leaves me in tears because I’m laughing so much. If I could give one note, I think they should laugh MORE. It truly brings me joy to listen to them every week because they always make it so fun. Give it a listen. It’s worth your time.

Listen to the ep after the win over the Bengals
These guys are always good — they outdid themselves in the most recent episode following the Chiefs win over the Bengals in the AFCCG. It’s fitting really - a top performance for the ages by the Chiefs and an absolutely top form report on it from this podcast trio. The jokes were rapid and wonderful — the analysis was terrific and balanced (it was Josh’s pointing out the role luck always plays in these things at the end that inspired me to take time to write out my praise) — the, hmm what to call them? skits? (beep-beep) were next level. Keep it up y’all! You actually *add value* to the fan experience of this once-in-a-lifetime team!
  • Spiral1972
Want to like it more, but they make it tough
Each of the three has idiosyncratic styles that bug me in one way or the other, though I think Nate really needs to clean up a couple things: (1) he tells lots of aimless stories that meander and take forever, which underwhelming punchlines; and (2) hilarious laughter at his own jokes, which are moderately amusing at best. When they stay on topic, they’re all good. I’m not against injecting humor — my favorite football podcast is Around the NFL — but make real humor makes the audience laugh, not the hosts.
  • Tomichi Guy
    Love the show
Content and knowledge is top notch among chiefs podcast but the squealing laughter is super annoying. Toning that down would make it a perfect show.

    Perfect Mix
As a Chiefs fan living in Cincinnati this podcast keeps me connected to my beloved team. On top of that it’s wildly entertaining for those in the Millennial generation with its blend of Power Ranger, Pokémon, and Sunday School references. 5 Stars!

Greet during training camp. Extremely awkward during regular season
It’s a great pod to get some inside information on training camp details but they are cringey to listen to during the regular season. I don’t want to single anyone out but it’s time to change it up.

    Amazing Podcast!
Great Info. Better Hosts. I find myself constantly refreshing to see when the new episodes come out. Great blend of personalities with various insights. My only complaint is that it doesn’t go longer and that it only comes out twice a week. Flex on the haters guys! Keep doing what you are doing and keep being AWESOME! GO CHIEFS!!!

    200 episodes already?
These three talented, opinionated Chiefs football experts blend behind-the-scenes insights (Nate Taylor), in-depth analysis (Seth Keysor), with a heavy dose of humor (JB Brisco et al). It’s long-form with each episode typically running over an hour. When there’s a new episode, it’s one of the first in my feed I choose. If you love the KC Chiefs, you should have subscribed about 190 episodes ago. I’ll bet I’ve listened to over 160 of their pods.

    The Best Chiefs Podcast
The best Chiefs podcast there is, and it’s not particularly close. Seth, Nate, and Josh have such great chemistry and they effortlessly blend reporting and analysis with humor and banter. And Josh and Seth do not even attempt to conceal their homerism and I’m all for it. A must-listen for any member of Chiefs Kingdom!

I just cannot do it…. Again
I’ve tried. Lord knows, I’ve tried. I just cannot get through any random episode. Nate Taylor’s voice (and overall general approach) renders this pod inaudible. The high-pitched screams, random whispering, persistent laughing at his own uninspiring “jokes” - It’s all poison to my ears. Some view it as “personality”. I like to call those people “wrong”. It’s just not for me. Anytime I scream out loud “Shuuuuuut up!” multiple times within the first ten minutes of the pod? No bueno. And then Brisco starts to mimick the voice and “jokes” insanity. Stop. Please. Seth is good. But deep down, he knows. This is a clown show. But that’s just me. Way too many options in the Kingdom exist for me to try and get through one of these single episodes. It’s excruciatingly painful…

    Needs a self audit…
The actual Chiefs info is great. I honestly feel that if these guys did a self audit of their show it could be great. If you know these guys personally or are in their immediate orbit maybe the other 75% of this show might make sense but they rely assume we know what they’re talking about and it ends up being unlistenable. And for real, the voice changes, the whispers, again if you’re in the orbit maybe it’s relevant or cute but to those of us who are not, it’s just noise. Doing a self audit, taking an objective approach to what you’re hearing and listening to the audience would go a LONG way to making this a strong program. As is, it’s just not listenable.
