Aside from the official podcast this is the best watchmen podcast available. All three hosts are articulate, knowledgeable, and individually charming. Cheers. Mates.

It’s a good podcast on an excellent show but as of December 9 2019 it won’t play on the built-in Apple podcast app (purple icon). The pods from established media like Josh Wigler’s from The Hollywood Reporter and The Daily from the New York Times still play fine. I’m current on iOS updates and have tried restarting the phone without results. No idea what changed but other fan and patreon supported pods won’t play either. Good luck getting this sorted.

The trio of Comic Book Club are always a blast to listen to, and this is a chance to hear them tackle something a little more grounded and serious. Whereas their other recap shows like Preachermen or Riverdale After Dark are absolute amazing madness, Watchmen Watch is really CBC’s most intellectually driven podcast, with a few jokes thrown in to keep you on your toes. I always tell friends to go back to the live show and The Stack to get a feel for the friendship and “continuity” of the three hosts, but this one can be listened to clean if you have an open mind. Good stuff good stuff.

Two of these guys are super smart and really know their stuff - not just in Watchmen but also cinema and pop culture. A joy to listen to and had some ‘aha’ moments with them. Please continue the insightful commentary - really enjoyable.

Having never read the graphic novel my friend recommended I tune in after watching each episode. I tried and could barely make it through the first episode. 30 seconds of decent content before one of these weiners has to make a boring asinine joke. It’s okay guys you can talk seriously for for than a minute without saying something stupid. Try it out.

I dont expect you guys to cure cancer with this pod but not knowing the difference between Mars & Jupiter I found disturbing.

These guys do like 47 podcasts and they’re all genuinely entertaining, which seems like it shouldn’t be possible. This one is particularly great, because not only are they recapping episodes, but they’re also doing their homework about the source material (both fiction and non). There is a tendency among comic fans to hold up Watchmen as a work of unassailable perfection, and it’s refreshing to hear from fans who deeply love the source material but are also able to acknowledge and engage with its more problematic aspects. Definitely worth the download, give it a listen!

The HBO Watchmen show hasn't even started yet as I am writing this, but these guys are already putting in THE WORK! They are so insightful and funny, and if you aren't familiar with the Watchmen comic that's fine because the first episodes of the podcast are talking about each volume of the comic - and you can read along, or reread, or just listen and learn (but read it because it's incredible)! Shout out to the THEME SONG for being cool. Check out all the other podcasts these guys do because they're just the best. Can't wait to hear their thoughts on the show!

It’s amazing that they got Alan Moore to cohost, I just hope he can make it to a recording one day.

Albeit, the only Watchmen Review I listen to. But honestly, it is such a good podcast. The hosts have great on set chemistry and a deep knowledge of the not only the subject but also many other facets which interconnect. Do yourself a favor and give it a listen.
