The best real fake name in the game.
Tyler Darling here, and I want to say the name Walker Lukens alone has me sold on the show. It’s really an amazing concept for a show. It’s improv, it’s music, it’s an eclectic collective. Showmanship in show form. Just listen and enjoy! Thanks y’all!

    Incredibly Open and Refreshing
Such a unique concept with creative and warm hosts. By creating an open and safe space, the hosts are able to bring out such raw and affecting experiences. It’s obvious they listen and process with their own lenses and contribute to stories by discussing how they relate to other’s stories. I look forward to every new episode. Highly recommended.

    A must listen to podcast!
This podcast is a great collective that connects story tellers (confessors) with artists to create songs and provide social commentary on various topics. There is a good mix of fun and serious confessions that will make you laugh, cry, or cringe. I just finished episode 6, “not as clever as you think” and was blown away by the deep and honest conversation Walker has with the song writer. A must listen to podcast!

    Great sounding songs
These songs sound great! I figured they would be put together quickly type songs but the audio quality is really good.

    Zac and Walker are awesome!!
This podcast is unique and creative! The incites provided by the interviewees are very inciteful when it comes to exploring the human condition and it’s up and and down journey. The hosts are genuine and share a love for music that shines thru in every episode.

Song Confessional is the Real Deal
I was actually a Song Confessional guest when they were in Dallas and told my story about a year ago. It was a unique fun experience and the song they wrote as a result of my story is something that I will always have. Memories almost forgotten brought to life in a song. It also encouraged me to reconnect with an old flame and it has been interesting I must say! I loved the first episode of the podcast and that song...can’t get it out of my head! Eagerly awaiting the next episode...

    A good format but...
I am giving it 5 stars out of respect for all the work that the team clearly put into this. The concept is brilliant and I'm eagerly awaiting new episodes. On the custructive side, I would like to hear Mr. Lukens asking more questions and answering them less while in the role of interviewer. Let it be all about the guest band and the story. Good luck!

I don’t care much for Walter Lukens...
... but I’ll be damned if he didn’t make an outstanding podcast! Kinda like Story Corps except if it were done by a couple of ATX millennials instead of a buncha dang ole boomers. I’ll bet ole Walter’s humming “Don’t let me die in Waco” all the way to the federal credit union by now.

    A Music Lover’s Podcast!!
Hey guys, if you like music this podcast is for you! It doesn’t matter what type of music you like, it’s just really cool to hear real musicians tell how they came up with a song. Also, how cool is it to make a confession into a song in the first place?!? Loved every minute and can’t wait to hear more!!! Very accessible for anyone to connect to. Love love love!!!!

This Podcast Made My Pancakes Taste Better
I’m not kidding. I listened to one episode and it was just like “BAM” the pancakes were richer, more syrupy, and fluffier. 🥞 I couldn’t believe it at first, but I made some more pancakes and played the episode again and they were even fluffier and better tasting that time! It’s a miracle praise lord hallelujahs. I want to try this podcast out with other foods now to see if it also works for mayonnaise, Taco Bell hot sauce packets, and pickles. If it worked with pickles I seriously think that Harvard should hire these guys to work in their pickle lab bc man, praise lord they would make the pickliest pickles in the continental United stars . The best part about this podcast though is that it helps me sleep better too when I listen to a few episodes. Maybe someday I will be a belt to confess on their show too. It would be a total dream. Thanks for all the hard work you’re changing the world every time you speak!!!!!!!!

Wow, what a novel idea. I love the concept of this podcast, how it connects people of so many different walks of life, and brings so much meaning not only to the song writing process, but also to real life stories. The stories alone are truly memorable. It’s fascinating to hear the way they influence artists to create. I’ve always loved Walker Lukens’ music, and I’m very impressed with this project and their ability to really let others shine.
