    Best Stars Podcast
This is the place to go for Stars coverage and to grow your knowledge of and engagement with hockey. Gavin’s genuine positive energy is obvious by the way he hypes up his co-hosts and interacts with his guests. It’s clear he is doing this podcast for love of the game, and his enthusiasm and personality make it a joy to listen to. Big stick tap to him!

    Awesome
Gavin makes a serious effort to cover anything and everything Dallas Stars. It’s my go to pod before and after games. The guests are always impressive and knowledgeable too. Super awesome job. 5 frosties for you!

    Love the show
After losing the ability to watch Stars games due to Bally this podcast has helped both keep me updated and reignited my love for the Stars. I enjoy all the insights from David/Sean and Gavin’s knowledge on hockey is amazing. Every episode with Craig is funny and nothing beats hearing a former player’s opinion. Would love to hear more interviews of former Stars if possible. I always recommended you guys to all my friends keep up the great work.

    Glad I found a stars/hockey podcast
I been looking for years for a podcast to listen to about stars hockey since I don’t live in Texas any more and that it’s not covered well in the dfw area anyway. Glad I found this and get almost a podcast a week to listen about my favorite team. Keep up the great work.

Best show for Stars hockey fans
I grew up in DFW but don’t live there any more as I now live in Spartanburg, SC. and this is the best place for die hard Stars fans to follow to get great content. Keep up the great work Gavin love the show

    Fan since ‘93
Fell in love with ice hockey at my first Stars game in ‘93. Love the game. The Stars need their own podcast and Spits & Suds delivers. I fell asleep in OT last night and missed the double OT game winner, but knew there’d be the podcast waiting for me when I woke up. Their passion shows. TOLO.

From a die hard Stars fan
I love how Gavin breaks down the game and gets to the nitty gritty……details from a game that the average person might not see. This is a must listen podcast for anyone that wants to learn in depth about hockey. Keep up the great work! Been listening to you since day one.

    Great show.
Big fan of Craig Ludwig. I like Gavin’s perspectives and comments. The content and conversation is good and the best podcast for the Stars IMO.

    Great Stars podcast
Great Stars podcast with regular updates and lots of insider and behind the scenes stories. Gavin is great. Regular episodes with Craig Ludwig, Sean Shapiro or David Castillo give the show real depth.

Great Dallas Stars and NHL reviews, commentary, and interviews
I have tried several Dallas Stars hockey podcasts to supplement the team-produced Podman Rush weekly podcast and this is my favorite. The host Gavin Spittle is passionate and knowledgeable, there is a rotating cast of reporters and hockey insiders to provide contrasting views and discussion. This includes Sean Shapiro who was my favorite beat writer at the Athletic before they moved on from him. Also this is a professionally produced podcast with great production values and professionalism that is somewhat lacking in some of the fan casts. I really appreciate the back and forth between two or more people rather than a 30 minute monologue that you get on some other podcasts. That said, Gavin does a great job on after-game recaps when it’s just him. Top notch in all areas.

Spits and Suds Best Stars PodCast
This is the first time in Stars history that a really good podcast is available on a daily basis. We have had to settle for less professional but well intentioned podcasts, or professional but weekly only, for a long time. Really like this.

    Love it
Great mix of questions and analysis. Sean’s Stars and hockey knowledge is well presented and I appreciate the rapport. Can’t wait for each new episode.

    Great listen for Stars fans
The Stars podcast we’ve been looking for! Shapiro is the man! Edit: trying hard to listen to every episode but the sound is consistently off/bad ie Gavin is too loud and Craig/Sean are too quiet. And the ads are abrupt and also a different sound level. Will keep trying to listen but pretty frustrating.

    Stars Podcast love
Thank you gentlemen for this wonderful podcast. There aren’t enough Dallas Stars podcasts out there so know you have a huge fan in Vegas.

    Thank you
Thank you for this podcast because the fan doesn’t cover hockey as much and I understand that but they are a local team who deserves love also

    Phenomenal
Finally an outlet for Stars talk! I’m not a die hard hockey fan, but I do watch as much as I can and go to at least 1 or 2 games a year. Love the insight that Shippy and The Hockey Hawk provide! Keep the episodes coming.
