This is my favorite evening podcast. It offers music, art and practical perspective without hitting you over the head with it all. Denene brings her experiences as a mother, daughter, wife and artist to the mic in a cool, seamless, honest way. It’s real but it’s light. The exchanges being layered against music makes this conversation an easy one to enjoy. Thanks from the US Virgin Islands. -SJ

I listened to the first episode while driving and it was like alternative R&B, smooth and slow but with plenty of spice to keep you listening and wanting more. Very cerebral. Very Denene.

I love this podcast! Love the topics but also the fact that it feels as if I'm listening to a TV show. Denene takes us through various rooms and various mediums but it all communicates the richness of life, her experiences and how it connects to my own. I felt as if she'd invited me into her home and welcomed me in for a bite to eat, music, girl talk, books and laughter. I look forward to the next and the next and the next.
