Was a faithful P1 when I lived in Dallas 99-01 and really loved the Ticket and especially the Hardline. I think this podcast forum really lets Mike demonstrate his many experiences outside of sports and he is a great interviewer. Love this podcast. Wish it was more than one a week.

Wow always liked Mike on the ticket and this is just an added bonus to Mike’s story telling listened to the Stevie Ray Vaughn story one of my favorite artists and that really gives you great insight to what happened to him thank you Mike for that closure Great story got to check out the Luka story next.

Square One is awesome and it is great to see Mike Rhyner expand his horizons beyond sports and nice to know he has this platform. Every week, his podcast has been refreshing, interesting, entertaining. The Athletic has a great platform and good to see some of my favorite columnists and reporters brought into The Athletic. To me it is sad that print media is dying and that is meant the quality of media has decreased but its great to see Mike going from The Ticket to the weekly podcast. Highly recommend anybody that loves the ticket, Mike Rhyner or even just looking for entertainment value.

So glad Rhynes is back - his voice is needed and this is the perfect outlet for it!

Awesome hearing Rhyner again! Warning though if you have misophonia. I love Newberg’s work and content, but every time he speaks in the most recent episode it sounds like a dog eating peanut butter in HD. I wanted to stab pencils in my ears. I don’t put this on him as it sounded like he might have been under the weather. As this is not a live broadcast, the levels should have been adjusted before releasing the episode. Otherwise the podcast is great.

Absolutely love hearing the old grey wolf again! My only critique is that the producer seems to cut Mike off a lot. His questions are sometimes longer than Mike’s answers. I’d prefer the other way around. But, grateful this podcast is here. Thank you!

We are winning the fight. Nature is healing.

Five stars without having heard a word. Rhyner, while dead, is the GOAT. For 26 years, he was fine with sitting back and playing the straight man to the other personalities at the station. Now, it will be a treat to hear this underrated storyteller all on his own. His recollection of the day Stevie Ray Vaughn died is still one of the best pieces of radio gold I’ve ever heard. Stay hard.

found its self smart enough to hop over in the the barrier from his pen to the next pen and eat all of that pigs food and then go to the next one and eat all of that pigs food and then the next one and eat all of that pigs food and make his way back in time for when it was my turn my time to feed him he had already eaten three meals and would just be sitting there waiting for me and I would feed him and he would eat that. That’s why he gained so much weight and got sifted at the fat stock show.
