HamilchinGreat ResourceI just listened to one episode to get another perspective on a topic I’m researching and I really appreciate how neatly packaged the information is in a format that was so well thought out. I will definitely be listening to more. Thank you!

MnkarenThe “Wow” factorWho knew? All these shows I grew up watching - it’s fascinating to learn the back stories, and the impact on shows that came later. I find myself thinking “wow - I never knew that!” every time.

Deconstructing DamselsWhat Was And Will BeAbrams does a beautiful job of creating comprehensive episodes on women's impact in TV. Not only does she do clear research, but she includes experts to offer a more nuanced view. Episodes range from single TV episodes to overall social change through the medium. Definitely worth high praise.

livimeikleFascinating, compelling, very high qualityI loooooooooooooove this podcast. There are so many media podcasts that are basically just "two dudes talk about shows they like" and this is a perfect antidote for the worst of those. The podcast feels like the best kind of media studies college class with the professor you want to hang around to talk to after class. Highly, highly recommended and can't wait for more episodes!

HEAMCastWell Crafted LearningThis great podcast gives a new light to the impact television and its female characters have had on society. I enjoy the host Cynthia Bemis Abrams as she presents a new and compelling examination of what could easily be shrugged off as just another slice of pop culture. Part history lesson, part analysis, and very entertaining. I highly recommend you add to your queue.

Libby.BrownWanted to LOVE thisThe content is really good but the narrator’s reading is so dull. Would be better as a conversation than reading.

Knowledge LoverOn Point for History Nerds and FeministsI’m constantly amazed at the details Cynthia finds regarding people and episodes of history that I thought I already knew all about! Each episode is thoroughly researched, complete with interviews and real clips from the past.
