Home cooking for the Huskers continued on Saturday when, with 1:29 left in the game and Nebraska out of Time Outs, they ran a play where the clock DID NOT START!!!! It appeared that neither the officials NOR Gophers coaches etc. noticed!

This podcast is the best way to stay in the know of all things Gopher Football. Because I am likely one of the few listeners with degrees from both Minnesota and Utah State, I also feel obligated to let you guys know that there are many people in northern Utah who would not be surprised to know that Mike Sanford consistently leaves us angry and confused.

Great podcast with very good content. Enjoy the recruiting tidbits the most and look forward to the recruit breakdowns after each signing day. The game previews and post game analysis are great to listen to for good and bad games. I especially enjoy Ryan’s rants on Special Teams. Lastly, for the amazing low price of just $1 you finally hooked me as a GI member and greatly appreciate the info and effort you put into the info your members get.

I recently became a listener this past spring as I needed more podcasts to entertain me during COVID. This podcast starts with a bang with the band each episode and just gets better every second with Gopher analysis. I live for Gopher Football and really appreciate the information that Ryan, Luke, and Derek share on this podcast as well as their objectivity. I learn a lot from Derek’s insight. I subscribe to GI and this podcast to get the latest on Gopher recruiting and everything Gopher Football related. Good googly moogly, Ryan and Luke provide the best Gopher football podcast. Ryan’s adoration of special teams coaching proves they aren’t just fan boys. Adding Derek for game reviews just makes it that much stronger.

I love this podcast - Ryan and Luke are great guys and solid football minds. The balance fair perspectives with elite insight. I love the previews and breakdowns. Great show, funny and easy to listen to you should add 30 minutes. Help me understand my Tanner Morgan issue. Riddle me this Batman. With the Mo running plays it’s supposed to be an QB option with him possibly running the ball, why doesn’t he do this? Option A He’s afraid to run Option B He’s unable to properly read the defensive end Option C The coaching staff will not let him run Option D All of the above We could have easily converted multiple 1st downs in Q4 to win the Maryland game if he kept the ball and ran around the wide open end of the line🤦🏼‍♂️ Keep up the great work!

I listen to a number of CFB podcasts and Gopher Gridiron is clearly one of the best in entertainment value and quality analysis. Ryan and Luke are very knowledgable regarding Gopher Football, fun and easy to listen to....but in person they are a bit on the shy side ;)

This pod is great, but it would be better if Luke could ever say a name correctly. Love the pod though. Hurts to listen to when the gophers are so bad. Row the boat Sigh u mah. All love for burnsie and buersie

5 star show. Content is great. IDK what’s going to take longer to happen, Luke going an entire show without mispronouncing any names, Ryan paying off all of his bills, me learning proper sentence structure, or 55 filling a gap? I need that Davenport of love right now.

I loved the podcast before the season began, but the game breakdowns take it to another level. After the Maryland game my first thought was “I wonder what the boys will have to say about this one!”

Great guys but not much to talk about given Gopher Football is an Absolute dumpster fire. Can’t row a boat that is sunk. Ryan - when will PJ not be “rebuilding” or “lost too many starters”? Seems more like Kill’s defense is no longer on the roster. Also, Rossi calling #55 to be all big ten? Sheesh... are we sure these guys know talent?

Question . What’s your favorite hand tool? ( it’s from a great radio interview with Paul McCartney ). For your show I’m not sure If I look more forward to the preview shows or review shows. Before my money and daughter went to Minnesota, I can safely say I never thought of the Golden Gophers. You boys have helped turn a Chicago boy into a Goldie fan. Ryan ... love the terms you come up with like the Moving Company and enjoy the update on hunting . We have to go fishing together in 21. Luke I would make fun of your inability to pronounce names but I wouldn’t do any better... Mia’s Dad

Luc and Rhine and really good. Their expertise is more than just Golden Gopher football, but at the end of the day, you are wiser to just here them speak. Eric Berns, although not as handsome as Luc, does a great job dissecting the past game during the breakdown episodes. The show would be a bargain at twice the price, I would pay at least $1 per month to hear the goodness. Keep up the excellent work gentlemen!

As helpful as the analysis is by the Burns’, I tune in to hear Luke savage teenagers names, regurgitate SP+ rankings and make game predictions exactly on the betting lines and O/U numbers. Kidding aside, keep it up fellas, nothing better to mow, rake and shovel to.

Gopher Illustrated is the best sources for Gopher Football info, especially since the merger of scout and 24/7. These guys direct some of the info to the message board, but I get that bit. Love the game breakdowns with Derek Burns as well. I especially like when they hype GopherPuckLive and content I put out for The Athletic, USCHO and in general on Gopher Sports about the athletic department.

I you need something to listen to while mowing the lawn, this should satisfy that requirement. Ski-u-mah, RTB, go gophers.

The this podcast gives me a lot of great information on the team, recruiting and also the details about the game (scheme, routes, etc.) I never knew about. I can also appreciate the honesty they give rather than all homer takes.

Love the show! But they routinely misinterpret betting lines. -3 toward the home team doesn’t mean Vegas thinks it’s a toss up (50/50). It means the teams are even and home field makes it more likely (>50% chance) that the home team will win. It would be a toss up (even betting line) if the road team was viewed as being 3 points better than the home team. Hopefully this is coherent and itis obviously a very minor complaint, but I want it read on the show, particularly because the gophers are in this neighborhood against Michigan next week.
