If Ted Turner was a hillbilly...
...then he would buy this burgeoning media empire NOW! All the folks behind this ever expanding library of content covering the most important era of civilization’s development (primarily the recreational use of 8 and 16 bit computational devices) are not only entertaining and credibly informative, but are generally pleasant enough you’d be delighted to have them as neighbors. Even with that said, I’m not sure I’d be willing to loan them my lawn equipment as the ringleader supposedly once lived on a pretty steep hillside.

Of All The Amiga Podcasts, This Is One Of Them!
As an Amiga user, in the US, from the moment the A500 came out, I love this podcast. They really help bring out the nostalgia for the best computer ever made. The podcast really Is the Top Banana, and good enough that I will tolerate all the CoCo and Sinclair nonsense.

These guys are good and dedicated
Great podcast that has grown and only gotten better over the years!

    One of my favorite podcasts.
As a former Amiga owner, I've missed my beloved computer for many years. I was so happy to stumble upon this team's Amiga-centric podcast. I've been listening to it since episode one. It might be a little rough around the edges, but the amount of information they throw out each week combined with their humorous bantor makes it all worth while. They produce other podcasts that cover other retro platforms, but their Amiga one will always be my favorite. Keep up the good work John and Aaron!!

    Best Retro Gaming Podcast!
This show has become my favorite podcast! Beware, you will want to try all these games and systems. Many $$ later I own an Amiga 500 and many upgrades. John and Aaron's banter and sense of humor keep the good times going throghout the podcast.
  • Tapes From The Crypt
One of the best retro gaming podcasts around
This is an excellent podcast covering an underrated line of computers, and the hosts manage to keep things light, fun, and very informative. This is a must-listen podcast for Amiga fans and for fans of retro gaming!

The Best Amiga Podcast Ever Produced in West Virginia
No West Virginian Amiga podcast has ever reached higher. No West Virginian Amiga podcast has ever dug deeper. No West Virginian Amiga podcast has ever hit harder. Witness history in the making! Your grandchildren will ask you if you remember where you were when you first heard the Amigos Podcast. The only Amiga podcast guaranteed to make you taller, smarter, and better looking.* Any podcast that starts Episode 1 with Hybris has to be great. Great podcast, great material, and it’s obvious that they’re having fun. The guys keep it clean so the kids can enjoy it too. * Actual results may vary.

Come for the games, stay for the banter
Covering my all time favourite computer, the Amiga, this show provides great reviews of Amiga games and provides updates on the latest news in the Amiga community. The hosts have a great rapport and inject lots of humor into the podcast. Keep up the great work!

    It's about time...
I recently bought a new phone and had to set everything back up, including my podcast client, and it got me thinking about The Amigos Podcast. It is ALWAYS the first podcast I add back when setting everything back up and what could be a better compliment than that? The podcast is entertaining and really makes me want to boot the old Amiga and play along.

The golden standard of Amiga podcast.
This show is the pinnacle intersection of banjo playing hillbilly antics and Amiga gaming. ;-) I’ve been listening sends day one and look forward to a new show every week. The banter back and forth really makes the show and the song at the end of each episode, well you will just have to listen and find out for yourself. I rate this show five golden Amigas!!

    Good stuff
These guys know their stuff and have such a great casual flow that it feels like you’re almost with them on the sofa chatting about the good ole days.

The BEST Amiga podcast, hands down
Everyone heard of the Apple II, the Commodore 64, the Macintosh. But over here in the US, the Amiga was a brilliant flash in the pan that has been utterly forgotten since Commodore's ignoble death in the mid-90s. But for those of us who remember having one of these brilliant machines (or envied those who did), this is a great podcast for reminiscing on past memories, as well as shining a light on the current, ongoing Amiga development that exists to this day. Aaron and John are great, down-to-earth hosts that don't take themselves too seriously; it's like you're just hanging out with them rather than listening to someone presenting or lecturing to you. I subscribe to many podcasts, and as such have many episodes in my backlog. But Amigos is one of the few that I listen to immediately as soon as it pops up each week. A+++

1 of my top 5 retro podcasts
Remember hanging out with your buddies playing games when you were a kid? Watching Aaron and John is just like that -- just a couple of cool gamers that love retro games and the Amiga talking shop. Topics include Amiga/retro news, games, and anything else that comes up. Their reviews of Amiga games are spot-on and often hilarious. I've found several new games that I never knew existed back when I was a kid -- so it's a great way to find new titles too. Highly recommended for any Amiga gamer out there.

    A Go-To Retro Podcast
This is one of my go-to retro-computing podcasts. The Amiga was an amazing machine and this podcast gives good coverage on a variety of Amiga related topics. The host are fun to listen to and the content is interesting. Recommended.

Great podcast for a rarely discussed topic
John and Aaron are giving listeners each week a glimpse into a topic that, before their podcast, was rarely discussed. Their desire to improve upon each episode is clear indication they are here for the long haul. Content is pretty good and they mostly stay on topic, but it's okay to stray a bit to hear their humorous banter. Keep up the great work!

    Getting better each time...
Covers old games and new news (haha) on the Amiga computers. As an Amiga 500 owner back in the day, I have to say I am definitely enjoying the podcast. I have been listening since the start and though rough for a bit it has really come into it's own and I look forward to each new episode. If you owned or used an Amiga back in the day (or today) then you will enjoy this podcast.

Current Amiga news and classic game reviews
Amigos Amiga Podcast has a great mix of new Amiga scene news and hardware reviews. Weekly game reviews have been well researched and include the right amount of detail. The discussion is lively and fun and the guys are an asset to the Amiga community.
