For all sensitive men who have had their man card revoked and call it “Christianity”. Go back to God’s Word…dig deep. Moore is a disappointment- a whiny disappointment. Prayers needed to be restored and hear from the Lord!

In the episode on prediction of the future Church, I’m curious as to why spiritual abuse and the sexual abuse cover-up was never mentioned as an issue in waning church attendance. Broken trust between leadership and congregants weakens a congregants loyalty, knowing that when they need help the most they’ll be betrayed and abandoned, or attacked as a threat. When church leaders care more about protecting themselves and their system than they do about protecting those in their care, it gives people nowhere else to go. When the church becomes a country club, it loses its appeal for those who have suffered trauma.

Russell is a generous, gracious host who asks his guests thoughtful and insightful questions. His yes are generally interesting and thoughtful people as well. Now, if we could only get rid of that intro music. To me it seems to go on for an eternity.

I have yet to come across a book via this podcast that I haven’t read but want to after listening to his dialogue with authors. Very much appreciate not only the guests and their perspectives, but also the way Dr. Moore models how to converse charitably with someone who he disagrees with on small and big things.

Always appreciate Dr. Moore’s perspective and he’s always bringing on interesting guests.

I don’t always agree with Russell but I appreciate his heart and viewpoints and willingness to see things from a different perspective. He has paid professionally and personally for what he believes and yet doesn’t back away for personal benefit. His latest book is also worth the read!

This guy doesn’t seem to live in reality women are looking at porn and are masturbating as well . It like he is set in the 70’s and the fact he thinks kids d do better a church setting then not isn’t true at all I have seen kid from my youth group grow up to be heathens because of there own decisions .

Russell Moore has been such a steady and faithful man of God through so many ups and downs. The wisdom he shares through his books and podcasts has blessed me immeasurably, and despite being treated horrifically by many in the church, he has been a constant loving and calm presence. He is a genuine example of what it looks like to live out the Fruits of the Spirit. I’m so very thankful for his faithfulness.

This is a terrific podcast for everyone but especially those of us who see troubling trends in our churches & politics. His logic is biblical & with common sense. He has been consistent for years which makes him even more trustworthy. Thanks for this interesting, timely podcast.

Russell Moore is one of my favorite and most helpful commentators. He is honest in probing relevant issues without being polemic or mean spirited. He has mastered the art of podcast conversation with both truth and grace.

I’m a long line admirer of RDM’s thoughts on whatever subject in which he opines. This may be my favorite. Especially the way he dealt with Calvinism and Arminianism and the explanation of what actually takes place in corporate worship and it’s purpose.

I find it wonderful and refreshing for a Christian program to include guest from outside of the faith and guests inside the faith with differing views. I believe we are called to love all people, and we can even learn from those that think differently from us. This podcast shows that this is possible for everyone, including Christians.

In our contentious cancel culture era where people from various perspectives are tuning out or boycotting people with opposing views and hunkering into silos Russell offers a refreshing conversational podcast with and for people who find themselves in this place between a radical right and a conservative center.

I’m thankful for Russell Moore’s faithful public witness. This podcast is like an oasis for Christian discussion amid the current cultural mess.

I’m emerging from a cocoon of raising children in a pandemic. Didn’t know how angry everyone seemed to be around so many topics since I have no social media. I’m now trying to pick up the pieces and form a picture of where we are today. Dr Moore is also perplexed but is an excellent guide for us to learn how to love our brothers and sisters in Christ steering into, away from, and through these thorny “culture war” topics. I do not solicit people’s opinions when I speak to people in person and yet they share their opinions so freely. My pastor has advised me to weep and pray over these many rifts and to have hope Christ will (and always does) prevail.

Russell Moore is a great interviewer and approaches all of his conversations with such humility and desire to learn. Exactly the modeling we need in this time.

Dr. Moore & his guests are a voice of truth and reason in these crazy times. I always come away encouraged and hopeful!

Dr. Moore is so often a voice for loving, biblical, gospel-oriented thoughtfulness.

The January 6 storming on the Capitol was wrong, and an affront to democracy. But equating it to 9/11 is wicked. Scores of lives were lost and hundreds of families devastated as a result. It’s an insult to the 9/11 victims to compare it to the January 6 riots.

I am immensely thankful for Russell Moore and those who work with him for providing a space for intelligent, open and often challenging discussions. In a time where disrespect for others seems to reign, opportunities to hear thoughtful discourse about challenging topics are tremendously appreciated.

I’m thankful for Dr. Moore’s ministry and in particular how thoughtfully he addresses issues. I’m most grateful for the “tell me where I’m wrong” segments. In a time where disagreement in the church is seen as division and disagreement in the culture at large is seen as hostility, it is refreshing to see how Dr. Moore can cordially and respectfully discuss topics with guests. May we all learn to listen to others with as much patience and respect.

Excellent conversation and thanks Kristin for framing the evolving definition of evangelicals … unfortunately it is how society, news, and politics have re-defined that “tribe” with which I once self identified. Now, I almost violently distance myself, electing to be known as “mere Christian” (thx C.S.). As my mother-in-law says, I really am unhappy that some words can no longer be used because now they define groups rather than their original intent.
