    Fabulous
I love this podcast so much!! It’s the only art podcast I know of that doesn’t have completely clueless guests or hosts on world matters, colonialism and class conflicts. I mean - art is at the center of all that! It also doesn’t sound pretentious or difficult. Finally, the Mayan plate and the Ariella Azoulay episodes are masterpieces. Thank you for the incredible moments I spend listening to you!

    Woke Kills Art
This isn’t really about art…it’s about why politics are more important than art, which is a mental disease voluntarily glommed onto by authoritarian morons on the left and right. Sophomoric, silly, self-righteous , narrow-minded, VERY irritating. Just plain stupid.

I love the magazine and I came into the podcast by chance and I got hooked immediately. The varied subjects and guests and discussion around Art world will keep me tuned in for a while. Kodus to the host in keeping an upbeat on his show and expressing his opinion while navigating the discussion.

YO HOST! STOP BREATHING INTO MIC!!!
I really really love the content but unfortunately since podcasts are purely audio, ya gotta get better at perfecting that experience...aka stop breathing so heavily in that mic!! I tried a few episodes and each one it was the same thing...awkward heavy breathing. Once y’all get that figured out, then I’ll tune into what you’re talking about.

    Superficial
Like the website, you’ll find the most facile explanation of the art world here! A waste of time for academics.

    One-of-a-kind!
I look forward to each new episode, as Hrag’s conversational approach to the “deep-dive” is key to its success, not to mention that the content is totally unique, not to be found in any other podcast. This is a super-important voice in the visual artworld. Bonus: the sound quality is exemplary!

    Wonderful conversations about meaningful topics
These conversations are so thoughtful, complex and engaging but also very accessible. So lovely, thanks for your work.

    Tapping the art world’s potential
I especially like the podcasts because I can hear real people and it feels like being in a room with them. It’s real and friendly. The articles are great too but I feel more of a connection with listening. Also I appreciate the perspectives of the different guests and the discussions. Very valuable info. Thank you so much!

    Different & need approach
Thanks for all you do! This has been great to listen to and hear from a wider swath of people and their thoughts/ experiences. The scope and breadth of topics is refreshing! Thanks you!

    Powerful Storytelling
I had no idea about the nuances of David Wojnarowicz's story. Learning about his life and the nimble response of the Whitney Museum to audiences was fascinating.

    Great art podcast...timely and interesting
A fun and informative podcast that covers timely art-related issues. Hrag gets to the heart of the matter, and doesn't shy away from controversial topics. Great range of content, too-- Covers major topics but also the eclectic and interesting.

Recent Episodes July 27 and August 2
Omgosh, I have been receiving and reading the Hyperallergic on line newsletter for as many years as it’s been available. Gratefully, I have recently been introduced to the Hyperallergic podcasts. To now have access to the conversations and news via the podcast is amazing. Recently I’ve listened to the July 27 episode: “How Contemporary Female Artists Are Grappling with Sexual Violence in Their Work” and the August 2 episode: “Hearing from the Artist Behind Anonymous Was a Woman”. Both outstanding in content, but one of the best aspects is the conversational tone which makes me feel as though I am in the room and part of the conversation. Thank you Hrag and Hyperallergic. Keep this work, these conversations coming.

    Grateful!
I've been a fan of Hyperallegic for a long time. As someone who is not directly involved in the art world it has been my go to platform to learn about what is relevant and interesting. I must say over the years I also appreciated how you expanded to include so many other topics related to art, like the Standing Rock activism and more. Your podcast not only does not disappoint it atually is a gift that keeps on giving. Your last three episodes keeps getting better and better. I love listening to your pleasant voice which resonates with the passion you have for your work. Thank you! Keep them coming!

Relevant and timely news with an international scope
I look forward to the Hyperallergic podcasts, they feature timely reports, interviews, reviews that reflect the digital journal's international scope. Episodes allow me to hear new content related to the current news stories and debates that the magazine covers, and they're a great way to catch up on news and debates related to contemporary art that point me in directions of topics I can draw on my university courses. An example is a recent interview with members of MoMA's union provided listeners with a discussion of the current reasons for the staff's concerns and editor Hrag Vartanian's thoughtful questions provided historical context. But the balanced reporting on this issue was also in evidence when he read a statement from the Museum.

Content is great, delivery is bleak
Please, please- you have interesting things to talk about. Deliver them in an interesting way! The long silent pauses are painful. Can you make it more conversational, and sound less like you are trying to record a book on tape with perfect diction but no character? Throw some music clips in there! Could be phenomenal, needs some finessing.
