    Best Wild Card Preview
I looked and looked and looked for a wildcard weekend preview. Didn’t find much. And then I listened to this and I was happy. Thank you. While I did not like all your picks, Still a five star

    Grammar dumbs the show down
I’ve been listening for a couple of months now and I’m very split on it. I do like their takes and their perspective is different which is refreshing but their grammar can be SO BAD that sometimes I feel compelled to just skip to the end and listen to something else. That and also their weird way of doing the ads and how many ads there are in such a short episode does make it hard to listen sometimes. Considering that they make a living by means of speech and one of them is a journalist for Sports Illustrated you’d think this wouldn’t be an issue. While it doesn’t always take away from the show there are times where it does make it difficult to listen despite having decent takes and different point of views. I’d say give them a listen, perhaps my gripes are of no concern to you.

    Poor choice of hosts
Embarrassing to say the least. We got a saints fan running a Texans podcast.. Neither host can pronounce the players names correctly and seem so out of touch with what is going on. The final straw was the bring Bobby Wagner to Houston. Dude was cut because he wants to go to a winner. Why would he ever choose the Texans? So dumb. I try to listen everyday and it’s just maddening to listen to these two

    Great show!!!
I’ve been listening for a couple years now. 3 I think. John and Coty are super entertaining and super down to earth. Football perspective from fans of the team. My favorite sports podcast right now. Definitely my first listen every day.

    Podcast
I really like this podcast but yall need to fix the grammar issue. Susses (success) and wasson (watson) its what i mostly hear.

    Laughable
Just started listening to the latest episode on 3/13/21. It’s a 28 minute episode , first 5 minutes different is all ad reads. Crazy

    Best in Houston
John and Coty are young, informative, and provide different perspectives! I love the podcast.

    TERRIBLE!!!
Man... John and Coty are AWEFUL. I really think you guys need to take some time and ask yourselves if you really want to do this podcast. The information is always wrong or biased, yall pronounce EVERY player and coach’s name wrong and neither one of you are very knowledgeable about the game or how the NFL even actually works. If y’all have too much on your plates with other careers then just say that. Because it’s obvious that y’all either don’t have the time or care enough to spend time giving accurate facts and information from other sources than Twitter. You’re doing the entire podcast a disservice if y’all continue on like this. As a black man I hate to demean other black men, but you guys are unprofessional AF and need to listen to other podcasts like Lance Zierlein’s to learn how to conduct a real one. I’m trying to find anything positive to say but this is trash.

    More like 'Locked on Sociopolitics'...
Had to turn off because the obsession with race was making me uncomfortable. Very little actual football discussion, and far too many ads for listening to this to be worth it for the trace amount of it that there is.
  • KyleB83
    Racism spew
These hosts are as racist as Steven A is. Everything they say revolves around racism from the black side.

Deshaun Watson and Robinson? Yes, please!

    Great podcast
Coty and John do a great job of providing Texans fans with daily exclusive content. It’s been a rough season, but Coty and John have been bright spots that give Texans fans optimism going forward.
  • Texans 4ever
    Love these guys!
John & Coty might be one of the best podcasters around. Every day they give us the top news surrounding the Texans and are entertaining while during so.
  • Go thunder!
    Too many ads
Half the show is about gambling sites and protein bars. No thanks.
  • RTP Horses
    More Ads than content
Decent insight into the Texans except seriously half the show is an advertisement, really annoying

    Locked On Texans
Each episode is creative based on what’s actually going on with the Texans. Give em a listen from injuries to trades everything you need to know about the Texans they will cover for you!

    Great Show
I look forward to each podcast. A lot of people bash the hosts for their grammar which at the end of the day doesn’t make a real impact. If something like grammar is the reason people don’t enjoy the show, there’s plenty of Texans podcasts they can choose from. I just wish the podcasts could last at least an hour year round.

    Tried it out
Cannot stand listening to these guys. I'm sorry. They have good opinions, they are smart, but the grammar is just sooo bad. I can't handle listening to them. When you're making money off how well you can talk, you should know how to talk better. The grammar is just bad.
  • Dexodine
    Entertaining but not very knowledgeable
These new guys make the old hosts look like Emmy award winning broadcasters. How in the hell do you have a Saints fan co hosting a LOCKED ON TEXANS podcast? The only good thing about this show is the intro music. The locked on network should be ashamed of this mess. Pathetic.
  • Mo_BTexan
    Can’t do it anymore
These guys are uninformed and seem to have no real insight to what is actually going on with the Texans. Other Texans podcasts have people on the inside. All the stuff they talk about you can read in on Bleacher Report or Battle Red Blog nothing oringinal, its second hand they other people have written about. Try again lockedon network.
  • HisPad
    Enough with the commercials
I know these guys have taken over during the off season but there is more airtime filled with commercials they are trying to shove down your throat then football talk.

    Young Guys Making Their Mark
I have listened to a number of the Locked On Network podcasts. Most I have unsubscribed due to their lack of quality. This one is different. John and Cody provide content. They disagree often which allows for a good debate on the subject. Look forward to more episodes covering my Texans.

    Horrible
    Hosts are terrible
  • Sgt Sigma
    Much improved team
Finally, a Texans podcast worth listening to—very entertaining. I had to stop listening to the last crew, but I’m back because of the upgrades at both positions. I expect them to keep improving and learning their craft as podcasters, but I’m back even if they don’t.

    New Hosts = Trash
Man I thought the last hosts were bad but these are even worse. Their football knowledge is laughable at best and they are not funny. Please get new hosts ASAP!
  • flyerfan025
    Downhill fast
No hosts are the worst in the LO network. The former hosts blew these two away. I can handle bad takes but this is a joke. Once again the Texans are looking up to other class franchises such as the LO Patriots host who’s one of the best in the network.
  • Jbasstic
    Quality Drop
New hosts are trash. Loved this podcast and always listened to every episode, but had to unsubscribe. Have to keep quality hosts to maintain a quality podcast.

    Good Takes on the Texans.
I really enjoy listening to this podcast on a weekly bases. It has good but not overly optimistic takes on the Texans. Robert and Brian give the Texans credit when they deserve it and rightfully criticize them when the organization when they don't do something right. They don't try and make excuses for them all the like some other hardcore fan podcasts would. Keep up the good work Robert and Brian! Go Texans!
  • Yogui Canseco
    Best Texans podcast
This is great, I have been listening them since September and this is absolutely the best option. The shows when you bring “enemies” are just great... gives us a good idea of what other teams think about us. You should make it daily!!! Thanks
  • Texans6969
    Brain is a joke
Good Lord... Sometimes I have to listen to this show because I've exhausted all my other Texans related podcasts. But I cringe every time I hear Brian talk. This guy has to be kidding. I literally laugh and shake my head at the stupidity that comes out of this guys mouth. Its like he doesn't even watch the games. Maybe he just reads some quick headlines and then hops on this show to spew his nonsense. He has the analysis level of an 8th grader when talking about team. On a positive note, Robert Land does a good job with informed takes. However any points Robert brings up is completely destroyed by this joke of a co-host named BRIAN.
  • pejerra
    Independent
Thanks for the independent analysis. Great stuff most of the time.
  • Mik44
    Robert needs a better cohost
I listen to this show regularly and I’m often left bewildered by the out of left field takes that Brian has. What is this guy talking about? “Foreman (who is recovering from a torn Achilles) is his least valuable Texans player” How do you knock a guy recovering from an injury that has a year recovery timeline? He said Justin Reid was a guy that represented a loosening of the Texans character standards?! Justin has been a model guy in college at Stanford and has been a great pro by all accounts. What is he talking about??? Robert continuously has to correct these ridiculous tales. And he needs training on how not to say “you know” in every sentence. Please find someone else!
  • ChaoticChrome
    Great show
While I consider state of the texans as my favorite texans podcast to listen to, i highly enjoy this podcast and love hearing the commentary.

    Lots of potential, poor execution
I am a diehard Houston sports fan and a Texans fans especially. I Listen to a variety of sports podcasts on a daily basis (Bill Simmons, Zach Lowe, locked on rockets, locked on Texans). I think it’s only fair to compare locked on Texans to Locked on Rockets as they likely have similar levels of funding. To be brutally honest, Locked on Rockets is far far superior for a few reasons. 1) the use of data an analysis (not just reading off PFF ratings) is amazing and rivals some of the best podcasts out there. 2) Ben Dubois does an excellent job reading everything and anything about the rockets trying to really give us the inside scoop. 3) his reporting is smart and accurate and mostly leaves emotions out of it (I’ll get to that later) My three issues with Locked on Texans. 1) Brian Peterson must improve. This is my biggest issue to be honest. There have been issues with inaccuracy (wrong about DT’s contract structure when we traded for him), over speculating on will fuller’s injury status (I believe he was very confident it was minor) and clearly failed to read any of the reporting that was available that day 2) outrageous takes. I have a laundry list of these but the latest being calling D’onte Foreman the LEAST valuable player on the Texans in 2018. That is both insane and frankly a little offensive considering that the man is likely working his tail off to recover from a brutal injury that usually costs people their careers. I believe this take was also Brain Peterson’s. 3) while I generally like Robert for keeping Brian in check I think there are places he can improve too. Namely, Robert’s classic take on all these podcasts is looking back in time and criticizing the team (especially its personnel moves) at every turn without acknowledging that hindsight is 20/20. I agree that we need to hold the team accountable (I’ve been a fan since day 1 too) but I feel Robert relies on this tactic as a crutch. I truly appreciate what you guys do but after a year and change of listening I had to let y’all know my thoughts. I will continue to listen (I hate radio commercials) and wish you guys the best.

If you’re a Texans fan and not listening you’re missing out!!
I started listening after the second game of this season and fell in love instantly!! These guys give it to you straight! They’ll flat out tell you what the problem is and back it up with a bunch of numbers. That’s what I love about this podcast they don’t sugar coat the problem, they say exactly what we are all thinking. This has honestly been one of the funnest seasons to watch bc when I watch the Texans I think about what’s going to be said during the next show. You can interact with them on twitter or email and they respond super fast and take the time to interact with their fans!!
  • Viggleisthebest
    Great daily Texans news
Couldn’t be happier to be able to listen to news about the Texans! These guys are great!
  • jab137
    Poor commentary
Really frustrating to listen to if you are an in-depth fan of the sport. I love the Texans and the locked-on format is awesome, but these two guys are often bias and get facts wrong. Seems so much more like fan conjecture rather than any kind of actual insight into the ups and downs of the team. It’s embarrassing listening to the interviews with other teams locked-on hosts and hearing how well read and professional their analysis sounds compared to us. Locked-on Rockets personality Ben dubose got me hooked on this network and it is really heartbreaking to see the stark difference in quality with one of my other favorite franchises. I really hope they make a personnel change to bring in some real journalists who can bring some excitement and insight to a Texans fan base that is excited about the present and future of this team.

    Awesome Job!
Great insight for my favorite team from these two reporters. Found this podcast during the offseason and made me really invest into our 53 man roster . Great job guys looking forward to your thoughts throughout the season . Thank you !

The show would be ok but the Brian guy is so misinformed it’s ridiculous. Without him the show would be ok

    Great Texans perspective!
I currently live in Boston and I’m a diehard Texans fan, this podcast is great to help stay in touch with my local team without having to listen to the biased local coverage. Great insight and depth during the season as well as the offseason. I’ll continue to support and spread the word!!

Brian Patterson needs to do his homework
Great show and keeps me in the loop of Texans news and updates, but the guest host needs to know his stuff. Just as a casual fan, I knew that Foreman's injury was an Achilles injury. It was not the first time he's said something wrong that he should know as a sportscasting professional.

    Clemson fan turned Texan
You guys have made following Deshaun to the NFL such a blast. With Nuk being a Texan and your previous QB situation I’ve been hoping Deshaun would end up in Houston for a long time. He was special at Clemson and it’s been awesome to see that trait carry over to the NFL. Happy for you guys. I find it funny how Deshaun’s biggest knock was transferring to “pro style” system. No one ever mentioned the system being tailored to him.... love the podcast and thanks for keeping us Clemson folk updated on what’s happening in H-town. @JoshONealGolf

The best source of Texans content in podcasting
First, as a general praise, the Locked On network is the best thing in sports podcasting. It is daily, knowledgeable sports talk sans the obnoxious personalities, five minute commercial blocks, and discussions of things you don’t care about. Specifically regarding LO Texans, you’re getting great discussion from hosts Robert and Brian. They balance being legitimate fans of the team with informed takes and without the obliged optimism of, say, John Harris, Deepi Sidhu, Marc Vandermeer, and Drew Dougherty (who are all great, but they’re also on the team’s payroll). If you’re a fan of the Houston Texans, this is a must-listen every weekday. Even if you’re not a fan of the team, subscribe and listen to this show and the other LO podcasts to keep you company on your commutes.
