Even tho I’m not a subscriber. I’ve been listening to these to jerk offs since I was a kid out at Stan Humphries celebrity golf tourney. Nothing but knee slapping laughs and “real” sports takes.

Dave is a clown. Jeff, I can listen to.

These guys were the best on the radio and still the best in San Diego.

I have followed Dave and Jeff throughout the years. Was glad to stumble on this podcast. Really bring us behind the scenes in San Diego Radio. Sometimes they make me laugh so hard I can’t breathe!

Miss these guys so much on the radio but think I love this show even more.

I’m sure there are some people who want to hear more F bombs per 30 seconds than Gordon Ramsay drops in an entire year, but it seems to reflect a marked level of unintelligence, and a lack of creativity and command of the English language. It’s like listening to a barely-literate 13 year old stuck in an adult body. I’m not a fan of cursing, but can put up with it if it’s sparing and the speaker is otherwise making intelligent and cogent points. Alas, these hosts fail both elements of that test. Take the current king of podcasts, Joe Rogan. Does he curse too much for my taste? Sure. But it’s not ALL the time, and he’s often very interesting, and entertaining. So I am willing to put up with it for the payoff of a good listening experience. But it’s so incessant here that it’s unlistenable, and actually totally unnecessary. The unfortunate part for me is that the topics and guests advertised for these episodes seem quite interesting, and I’d absolutely subscribe and listen if they would cut down the cursing to maybe three such words every 5 minutes. But that would make these hour episodes about seven minutes long. I think the constraints of AM radio served these guys well, because they had to actually be creative and speak in full sentences and paragraphs without lazily relying on obscenities every 5 seconds as fillers. If there is a clean version of this podcast, I’d absolutely subscribe (and again, it would probably be much, much shorter and focused, so that would be a bonus too). Bottom line: if you meet a grown man who can’t speak without cursing, you are probably dealing with someone who is quite insecure (like the chihuahua that yaps constantly), or very angry, or abusing some substance. Regardless, it’s not pleasant, and it’s the guy people avoid at parties and talk to their wife about on the drive home. Don’t be that guy.

Dave and Jeff have been doing excellent radio in SD for 20 years, they have an incredible chemistry together and their humor is on another level. I don’t understand what is wrong with the management in local radio that is to shortsighted to recognize real talent. I am happy to see them on podcasts, the format allows them to be even better, keep it up guys.

Listened to D/J for years. They’ve set the Guinness book of world records for sports jockeys being fired from sports talk radio. But nobody, and I mean nobody can fire them from this podcast. This thing they’ve got now is just beneath eternal. And now I can hear sports talk until my ears bleed, as only Dave and Jeff can iterate it. Now excuse me while I find some gauze for my ears...

It’s so awesome to hear these guys tell it how it is. Other than Darren Smith sports radio in this town is average at best on most days. These guys just get it from a SD perspective. Always excited to hear their latest and am all for these guys doing as many podcasts as they can fit in during the week!

Both Dave and Jeff are great I highly recommend this podcast, if you guys want to laugh and follow sports this podcast is for you

Been listening to for at least 7 years now. Really liked them on the radio but the podcast takes them to another level. I think because they aren’t limited to just sports. They open their life’s up to everyone. The good and the sad parts. They take you behind the curtain on how radio works. You feel like you are sitting with them talking life, sports or just busting balls. I feel bad because I don’t want them to go back to radio. I don’t think any radio station would let them do this on the air. I also know they need to make a living wage and no one is getting rich doing a podcast. Please give them a listen.

I’ve been fans of these guys since they were doing Padres postgame shoes on 760 KFMB. Great vibe and incurably entertaining. Love the podcast because it transcends sports—Dave & Jeff aren’t afraid to talk about what’s happening in their lives, and so much of that relates to everyone’s life. Also like the behind-the-scenes glimpse they provide of San Diego media.

The chemistry between Dave & Jeff are as good as it gets. These guys understand the pulse SD sports scene. Their stories are so funny! Only only wish they were on more often.

Dane and Jeff I was sad when they were taken off mornings....I had only been listening for a short time but I loved the way they talked about sports and broke things down for my understanding....I was super excited to see that they got a podcast, I laugh 😂 so much and love the way they Segway off topic the most. You both are amazing to listen too I no longer listen to the radio only podcasts and yours is in my top 3...keep it up!!

I loved D&J when they were on San Diego radio and have missed their morning show terribly. Great to see they're back in the game. Jeff Dotseth always has a funny and/or entertaining take on sports, news, and life in general. I really hope they give us new podcasts for a long, long time. Keep it up, Dave and Jeff. Thanks!

Finally they're back! These guys have always been the best & these unfiltered podcasts are the greatest. San Diego needs you guys back on the air ASAP!

Dave and Jeff are easily the 2 most fun to listen sports talk radio hosts in San Diego. It's too bad that between 1090 and 1360 that their show is no longer on the air, but if you liked them on the air, you'll like them even more from Bubba's garage. Excellent show, they tell it like it is, and they're hilarious.

It's the return of El Diablo and Jeff! I like the peek behind the curtain of San Diego sports talk radio.

I've been listening to D&J for a couple years and they are hands down the best. Now that they have their own podcast, I've never been more thrilled. The content is great, Jeff is hilarious when he's angry and dave (el diablo) has the smooth voice of reason. You can really feel the friendship/chemistry between the two guys. Listen for a good laugh, great special guests, and honest opinions about what's going on in the sports world.
