AI: The "C" Team

413

Acquisitions Incorporated serves up locally-sourced adventure from convenient franchise locations across Faerûn. Their adventures began in 2007 with a podcast of three friends playing D&D, and inexplicably progressed to live games on-stage before thousands of audience members at PAX.

    Great show
Everyday for the last two weeks, this show says it’s been updated today and the episodes are all rearranged in a new jumbled order!

Imagine, if you will, a dark podcast...
Best live play dnd out there, bar none.

    A better show.
This real play DnD podcast is the best rendition of DnD you will ever experience & yes I am including your home game where you play the sexy half-elf rogue with the critical backstabs. Jerry will lead you through the old school and new school and hey-we’re-so-good-they-made-us-official Dungeons and Dragons handbooks by imagining a dark thing. Kris will bring his striking intelligence to befuddle and confuse. Kate will destroy your inhibitions and punch your guts into your forebrain Ryan will provide comfort and noogies in equal quantities. Amy will go on a journey of self discovery giving you license to follow along in growth and character. And then they’ll announce the end of the show and you will be _so mad_.

    Good but...”Exactly”
I love AI and enjoy the C team, but Jerry has made me wish that the word “exactly” could be removed from the English language. I have seriously considered listening to both all the way through to calculate how many times he says it.

    A wonderful evolution
I started reading Penny Arcade many, many years ago, and was very excited when the podcasts started. I heard Wil Wheaton go into the acids with the original group, then started listening to both. I won’t go so far as to say I prefer the A Team to the C Team, as I love how the character arcs have developed. Jerry has written wonderful stories and the group has played them terrifically. A well-DMed, and well played campaign. Please to enjoy.

    So so good
Love this podcast. So much attention paid to character development, emotional and meaningful encounters. So much love from the fans, and for the fans. I hope this goes on forever.

    It’s a better show.
Equal parts incredible storytelling and plot by Jerriford mixed with the offbeat humor of the cast. START FROM THE BEGINNING, do not just start with whatever the newest episode is.

    Who's Amy?
Internet Friend Jereford K. Horkrimzz consistently elicits some of the most entertaining and thought-provoking experiences to be had involving dungeons and-stroke-or dragons. He keeps the story moving forward with a clever wit, wrangling the Dumb Baby, Horny Teen, Esoteric Lunatic, and Ultra Grandma. I'll be tuning in to this podcast ad infinitum, even if we never find out who Amy is.

    Adventure and storytelling
The antics and drama cooked up by the DM and players is world-class. Literally every episode has me in stitches, catches me off guard, and keeps me smiling. It’s wonderful to be able to sit in on this kind of machine for joy and wonder.

    Professional Level D&D
Every person involved in this podcast is ABSURDLY good at what they do. The storytelling and world building are brilliant...you won’t find a better roleplaying podcast than this.

    Absolutely Relatable and Fantastic Characters
The C Team offers a theatre of the mind style of D&D that is very enjoyable to experience. I’ve found that I’ve built a real emotional connection to the characters and share in their victories and sorrows. Bravo!

The C-Team is a perfect example of a DM playing to his players’ ideas and rolling with the punches as they come. All of the cast are entertaining, lovable, and charming. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try their salt at DM-ing. You can learn a lot from this podcast.

    C++
Great show, with some awesome chemistry between the characters. Easily my favorite podcast, mixing humor and some surprisingly poignant emotional moments with action and adventure. Absolutely would recommend, even if you don’t play Dungeons and Dragons.

    Best D&D Podcast/Show Out There!
This is by far my favorite D&D group to watch. They perfectly blend entertainment and funny jokes with legitimate role play and awesome action scenes. Jerry is a ton of fun in the DM chair and constantly builds on the Acquisitions Incorporated world through this game.

I couldn't be more than pleased that there is an audio option for my 'C' Team fun.

Best Thing since the Big Bang
This pod cast is really fun to listen to. It is the high light of my drives every week. The players and the DM are very funny and the chemistry between everyone is great.

    Trying to stay committed
The show is good, and I want to like it. Every week I come back, and every week I have the same frustration. The level to which certain players let their personal knowledge affect their decisions in game gets worse. As a fan, I wanted to stay committed to the story and the characters, but it feels like players are often committed more to their own interests than to the interest of fair play and a good story.

    Amazing
Fantastic addition to the AI franchise! More Patrick tho.
