    Lotsa Heart
Matt Spiegel’s 5/26 interview with Doug Glanville is why Matt has been my favorite Score host. He brought baseball acumen, prep, and heart to his interview celebrating Black players’ contribution to the game. Thank you, Matt!

    Disappointed
Really wanted to like this show with Matt, I listened loyally for a few years; I love his optimism and he clearly loves the game, which made the show much better. However, his anti-capitalist rhetoric is the reason I stopped listening. Where does the money that funds his paycheck come from? Ad reads, commercials, and deals with the large corporate entities. The hypocrisy demolished any respect I had for him.

    Run
Spiegel has the ability to turn any show he has pushed his way onto into a Spiegel-centric self-love fest. Baseball, a make-believe band and personal problems seem to be his topics of choice. If you’ve heard one show, you’ve heard them all.

Love Spiegs, and this may be unfair, but ...
... I can’t help comparing what this show is to what it used to be. Barry and Joe talked national baseball each week, and allowed me to catch up on stories aund MLB that I may have missed. The current show is mostly guests, and mostly talk about just the Cubs and White Sox. As a massive Cub fan, there isn’t a lot new hear that isn’t rehashing what I’ve heard/read throughout the week. As I say, Spiegs is the man, but I miss the old format.

Always an enjoyable Sunday morning listen
Hoping Joe O makes it at least another year as host. That would probably be some type of record!
