    Way too general
Instead of over promoting to seek vet care why not share more specific , researched information to truly help us make better choices for our pets health. I keep wanting to learn, especially about the best diets and current but honest need for vaccinations and products that we can administer ourselves without the enormous cost of veterinarian care. It’s gotten out of hand. And so many people are unable to afford to even consider vet care. Offer low cost dental cleanings please, is 600 to 1000$ necessary. It’s so contradictory really. As one who believes in the benefit of only one cleaning every 7 years, I can no longer afford it. So help all those animals by defining feline nutrition and how to discern the best. So many vets are too connected to products and profits and geez, there are more assistants in vet clinics than human clinics. I cringe as three people come into the room which pressures interaction, costs and any sense of care. I find this show fluffy and promotional , some good ideas occasionally but too much generic info

    New cat
Sadly I have to announce that I lost my tortie to cancer. Started in the mammary gland and spread to lungs. After a few weeks I adopted a cute female orange and white tabby kitten. She’s 9 months and I’ve had her for almost a month. She still doesn’t recognize her name and I use it all the time. She also attacks my feet at night. She sneezes a lot and when I mentioned it to the vet she asked what the temp is in my house and said that @ 74 degrees she should be fine. However she has the body size of a 6 month old. Should I do something different? How can I get her to leave my feet alone and do I need to reward her for doing the things I want including responding to her name? I haven’t had a kitten before. Kim was already an adult.

    So Educational- One Tip Though!
I love this podcast, and am recommending it to everyone, but it does need a warning for the intro sound of a cat shrieking- it upset my kitty and surely would any kitty listening. It’s the equivalent of starting a podcast intro with a human shrieking “Help! Stay away! Danger!!!” Not a good intro for a kitty. Otherwise this is brilliant.
