The show is ok but hearing political ads that just glaze the president about his deportation tactics is awful. Don’t you know a lot of your listeners are immigrants? You guys must be hurting for advertisers.

Great pod. Love listening to the radio show. DV is Great and calls it like he sees it.

What I like: 1.DVs Post-game discussion with Jose Mota is informative and fun 2.Tim Cates’ rundown of prospects 3.”Ken” from Newport Beach, keeps it real. 4.DVs optimism. Never gets too low. It’s only baseball! What can improve: 1.caller “Izzy”. I don’t get why the hosts allow an otherwise quality podcast devolve into a weird and sad segment with this caller. Once a season is fine but daily? Too much. 2.DV has access to Dave Roberts so rather than critique the team, why not just interview the manager or coaches directly? Otherwise, an informative podcast.

Highly recommend. DV is well-connected to the team and people throughout the game. He also provides some honest and unique insight about the games and even potential player acquisitions.

DV is a great host with informed opinions. We are lucky to have someone like Dave who has earned his way into the clubhouse and gives us some insight to the locker room and has eyes on the team and it’s players. Tim Cates is also good as he complements Dave’s personality as he is more forgiving to callers and more patient for newbies or off the wall callers. But if you wanna know the tea - it’s all about listening to the show when DV is the host!

As a fan who doesn’t get much live game time, this is an early morning must for recaps, fan reactions, DV sarcasm and great insight. Keep up the good work!!

Vassegh is that annoying kid at school who ALWAYS had to be right. I feel bad for all the Dodger players that have to be nice to him. LOL

Love Dodger Talk! David V creates good baseball conversation and so do guests. Love it when he puts ridiculous callers in their place 😆 Wish there were variety of commercials. The “Dickerson” commercial gets annoying and blasts on my speakers. 👎🏼

I agree w some of the listeners. He’s arrogant and Insulting to His callers. There are ways to engage and debate which is which is inclusive and just plain bullying. Why ? DV is the butt of most dodger players. This has been a fact for years. DV as the weird lovable loser. He spent years getting sliced and diced by Petros and Money. So what does he do ? Take it out on his listeners. Pathetic. Too bad because at times his Analysis is quite good I like when he holds the Dodgers feet to the fire when deserved. But plays the “company man “ when asking questions of DR. Come on man. Stop being defensive and arrogant w your listeners. You won’t have any if u keep That up

David is just a rude person. Other hosts aren’t so bad but more often than not I cringe when David argues with his callers. I’m shocked he hasn’t gotten canned for being so consistently rude

Vassegh has gotten much better at his job over the years. This has become an entertaining and informative show that keeps me up to date on all things Dodgers.

I’ve listened to David and Dodger Talk diligently for the last year. David knows his dodger baseball better than any other reporter out and provides solid insight and analysis. he can be a bit rough at times but he is fair. However, once you get to know him , he just tells it like it is . he has earned the trust and respect of the players and he’s able to pass along that insight without compromising his relationships . In addition, he’s very willing to listen to you if you’re direct, too the point. A must listen for all dodger fans! David /Colin: thank you for all of the support and insight in the many cities as I traveled around for the Dodgers in 2021 on the road! go blue . Lou

Avid listener of DT. The supporting cast are all top notch. I especially like Colletti’s insight and Nomar and Orel are awesome in every way I have adjusted over time to Dave Vassegh’s frequent condescension to fans who call in. I would wince quite a bit while listening and take it personal as an empath, hearing him belittle people nearly every episode. I understand not everyone’s knowledge of the game is the same but a little love and tolerance would go a long way. I hold out hope that the higher ups see and address this, by the bevy of reviews citing the same. It still hasn’t stopped me from listening to every episode. Just my two cents. As a qualifier I’ve grown up around the Team as a kid, and have even had the privilege of being a bat boy courtesy of Tommy. I love the Dodgers and hope to see the fan base get their due respect when participating to the conversation. Much love to the Dodger Family, including the greatest pitching icon, radio announcer, passionate coach, barrier breaker, fist pumping leader, and on field photographer that ANY Sport has ever seen! Thank you ALL for allowing us to be a part of such a blessed dream!****update Dave Vasseh has made tremendous improvements in the aforementioned areas. Bassein has an excellent relationship with players and I usually agree with his analysis of the team. One thing I absolutely can’t stand about his show is how frequently he interrupts callers. There are about 5-10 interruptions that mess with the flow of the show as well as the callers. (Chill David! Let people voice their opinions!!)

I really enjoy Dodger Talk, but this feed is too crowded. Just make On Deck a separate podcast. It’s already too much with all the interviews getting released as separate episodes. After one game we get 11 episodes coming through, and most of the material is redundant and found within the actual Dodger Talk episode. It’s unnecessary.

Vassegh is awesome, don’t get me wrong, he’s a nerd, but a Dodger baseball nerd. He’s real, has great insight and his relationship with some of the players and Dodger insiders/staff is obvious so when he has an opinion and/or says anything it is substantiated. He’s also goofy as hell and the players love the dude. He’s a Dodger! Must listen.

I don’t mind the commercials, but the editing is horrible! Dropping a commercial into the middle of a sentence? Is someone’s kid doing this? Not professional.

DV is rude AF! Ridiculous how he talks to fans when he doesn’t agree with them which seems rare that he agrees with them. He feels he knows it all and it’s as if he doesn’t realize if these fans he talks to the way he does went away he wouldn’t have a show. Have put up with it just because I’m a huge Dodgers fan, have been since 87 but really hope they get a new host soon, would make Dodger Talk a lot more enjoyable.

I love the show and the analysis. They just started to add commercials randomly even in the middle of a sentence. It’s bothersome but I still listen daily.

Dodger talk is great, and DV is tremendous. He is absolutely the perfect and only person for the job. He has a great rapport with the players, he respects the game, and he has an unquestionable love for the Dodgers and baseball as a whole. He has found a way to keep us interested during this pandemic in a way that keeps me coming back as if baseball was in full bloom. Big Mac Monday’s are great & Dre Wednesday’s are so much fun. The Ken Griffey Jr. interview was a must-listen podcast! I even successfully got some Cub fans to listen to that one! The Albert Pujols interview was fantastic as well. There’s also certain callers that I love hearing from: Manny from Gardena, and Izzy from Buena Park. I find myself agreeing with 99% percent of what DV has to say... the most recent disagreement I have is on the best baseball movie of all time... it definitely The Sandlot. Ethier knows what’s up on that! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DAVE!!!

Hard to get through his rah rah hype, but he does get and report the information. Don’t know if David is walking a tight rope or not with the players and management to keep his job or what. Most players seem to “put up with him”; probably because of his lack of research. I only subscribe to the podcast to pick up bits of news, but when it gets all fluffy, I fast forward to just delete the episode.

DV is extremely unprofessional! I listen for the daily updates but the show has evolved from an informative show about the Dodgers to a show focused on the host’s abnormally large and undeserved, ego. Too bad Tim Cates doesn’t host shows more often! Funny...everyone on the show provides insight, whereas DV provides insult. Get it right AM570.

During the off-season when there was no Dodger talk, I almost forgot how unprofessional David Vassegh was, then he unnecessarily bashed Boston, while introducing the two new players. His ego is annoying and I hope AM570 finds someone else to interview and host Dodger talk/postgame.

So mlb threatens to penalize the Dodgers MORE HARSHLY if they comment- which gives Crane free reign to spin this as no harm- no foul. He says the WS is “untainted” because they had a good team!! Will some reporter please ask the Commissioner if the investigation found that the Astros had a competitive advantage so Crane Et al can keep saying the outcome was not affected. Imagine if Al Davis were on the receiving end of this! No way would he let this slide. So why do the Dodgers? I can’t believe they won’t stand up for the franchise, players and fans!

I never miss an episode. David and his cohosts have fantastic insight into the team. Best Dodgers Show out there.

Ned and Nomar are great! Tim is great host over david. I really wish the broadcast team would bring back Kevin Kennedy on a regular basis.

Wow it’s been a blast listening all year long to this podcast. But wow the TC episodes I basically just skip even this recent one in the playoffs. He’s so negative and so ready to make snap judgements I don’t understand how anyone enjoys him that could call themselves fans. About 5-10 minutes of him blasting his team and I’m done. I’ll wait for the DV highlights hopefully tomorrow.

Been a Dodger fan since I was in the womb. Love the info and when Nomar is on the show. I feel DV is so full of himself and condescending to callers if they disagree with him. Glad there are other Dodger podcasts to listen to when I can’t take listening to DV any longer.

I keep getting “something went wrong” messages with all the latest shows the last several days. All other podcasts work fine. Why the issue with Dodger Talk? Apple’s fault? Or the podcast hosting site’s? It’s annoying. Otherwise, I enjoy the information the post game wrap provides.

I left a review already but I forgot to mention that David has fake callers hype him up and speak good about him/agree with him. He only takes calls from like the same 10 people 😂 and when he has real callers (rarely) they say something he doesn’t like and he hangs up on them.

I have been listening to Dodger talk for almost 45 years. Tim Cates is the best host I've ever heard. Fantastic show.

Information is good, cadence is good, show is a little low energy but good. But someone needs to sound check the intro ad. If the show is at sound level 7 the ad played before every episode is is a 11. It blows my ears out every time a new episode starts. Please fix that

I listen because it’s the only normal cadence Dodgers podcast. DV is a mediocre host. It’d be great to get someone that knows baseball on a deeper level.

Did I just hear Mr. Vassegh ask a caller if the caller wanted Brice Harper to be a Dodger because of his hair??!!!!! C’mon!! This kind of disrespect has to be all Mr. Vassegh. I can not imagine the Dodger organization thinking the disrespect is OK. Nobody else can host??

David, who cares about divisional titles. That’s all you mention at times. It’s apparent who writes your checks and provides your benefits. Have some balls and be critical and constructive towards the Dodgers and the players. Your a homer but your also reluctant to criticize obvious negatives about Dodger baseball.

Love the info on this podcast. DV though can be such a condescending jerk to callers. Kevin Kennedy was much more respectful, Tim Cates is a good host, and Ned, Nomar, and JHair are great cohost. Dial the ego back a touch DV and this podcast will go from good to great!
