If you’re looking for godly wisdom from an older lady - Marci brings encouragement based in the Scriptures! She affirms the Titus 2 principles of loving your husband, love your children, and being a worker at home- and provides practical advice on how to excel in each area, unto the glory of God.

This is a new podcast for me. I’m so grateful to have found Marci. She feels like a new friend. She discusses topics that are pertinent to me in my chapter of life. She’s a wonderful communicator and her foundation is the Word of God. She’s a blessing to me.

I like how Marci packs so much “meat” into an episode. She does her research and presents her points clearly. No wasted words. It all points to the Word of God! I believe she really wants to help her listeners live the abundant life! I was so convicted during the recent Gossip episode, I had to pause the episode and repent. The Lord definitely has some work to do on me! Thank you Marci for showing me an area of weakness that needs attention.

I’m a single woman and I wanted to say that sometimes I don’t find homemaking podcasts etc very encouraging to listen to as most of it doesn’t usually apply to my season of life. However, I find this to be super inspiring, and useful and encouraging to my walk with the Lord. I especially love her episodes about Bible reading/study/prayer habits as they are so down to earth and practical. Single sisters, this podcast is definitely worth a listen for you as well. I searched for a podcast for my season, which is a bit odd but every episode seems perfect. Thank you Marci! This podcast is encouraging!

As a parent of two wayward children this episode was encouraged. It reminded me of the hope we have in Christ and because of that hope we continue to pray for our kids salvation. The Lord is sovereign and HE is the one who grants salvation but until then I will stand and not go weary of doing good. Thank you for this episode

It’s seems every episode is what I need to hear. Marci’s advice us practical yet motivational. She stimulates me to honor God in my home more each day. Every wipe or dust or sweep of the vacuum is to be done for His glory alone. Such joy!

There is absolutely no reason for this to be rated as Explicit on Apple Podcasts! Unless the fact that it covers Christian topics is so offensive to Apple that they felt the need to slap a label on it??

I would highly recommend this podcast to women looking to grow in their own spiritual walk with the Lord, become more efficient and organized as homemakers, striving to be godly mothers, and wives that want to be more devoted and loving to their husbands. Marci explains things in a beautiful and clarifying way with clear practical applications. Most importantly, she backs up her teachings with Biblical. This podcast has been such an inspiration for me and I think it would be a great blessing to any woman.

I have been a Christian wife and mother for several years. Just recently I felt like I needed to get closer to Christ than I have been before. God knew exactly what I needed, and this podcast was the first one I found. It uplifts me every morning and gets me prepared for my day. There have been several times I have referenced it throughout the day to coworkers and friends. I’m so thankful for this podcast and can’t wait to see what’s next!

I attended a prosperity gospel type church for 8 years and I began listening to John MacArthur soon after we walked away from our church. 2020 happened and I started following Erin Coates on Instagram which led me to your Instagram, Thankful Homemaker. Listening to your podcast is such a breath of fresh air. The way you teach and the way you encourage is just amazing and inspiring. Thank you for leading women so well.

I adore this podcast! 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for wisdom and encouragement, as a woman, trying to keep up her home in a God honoring way. She makes mundane tasks feel more beautiful. I find her voice/tone to be soothing, like a mother. It washes over my often weary soul in the best way, while always encouraging me to turn to the Lord in all things. Her sermon on the mount series is also very encouraging!

I started my journey of being a wife, mother & homemaker with very little understanding on how to practically walk it out. I have had amazing woman mentor me in my walk with the Lord but I have very little discipleship in this area of life (mind blowing now looking back) This podcast has not only given me so many practice tools and ideas for how to be a biblical homemaker, wife and mother BUT also reminded me of the why behind it all. I am learning so much every time I listen. Also very thankful for the amazing Bible studies Marci puts together. I am thankful that she is always encouraging her listeners to be in the word themselves, so important! I love turning this podcast on while I clean around the house. What a gift!

Practical, encouraging, and biblical!

My sister shared this podcast with me about a month ago and it has been such a blessing to me. I am a new mom, now staying at home with my daughter, which I have always dreamed of doing, but I found myself feeling like my days were being wasted/not as important because I wasn’t contributing to our income anymore. Even though my husband assured me often that this work I do at home is so important, it’s so encouraging to hear the scripture to support that and actually see where God says that the work I am doing here at home every day is essential. I love this new season that I am in, but we all get a little blue sometimes and need biblical encouragement to remind us that the everyday, mundane tasks are glorifying to God and that is exactly what Marci has done for me. I listen to her throughout the day while I’m doing my housekeeping and I find that those thoughts of feeling less than or unimportant don’t come into my mind nearly as often. Thank you Marci for being such a blessing to me in this new season of becoming a stay at home mom. I am grateful for the wisdom and encouragement you offer in these podcasts. May God continue to use you to be a blessing to his daughters. 💕

Hard to find encouragement in homemaking that has sound teaching and is gospel centered. Very thankful for this podcast!

Marci seems to have such a sweet way to deliver sometimes challenging information to help you change and grow in Christ. When I find myself and my life in upheaval also called being prideful and selfish, her podcasts have a beautiful way of gently leading you back to the cross in humility and love.

I am a young woman getting married this year, and I have been so greatly blessed by this podcast. I cannot imagine a more beneficial resource for this season (outside of the Bible, of course!). I know that the Lord is using this podcast to bless not only me but to prepare me to be a wife, mother, and homemaker. What a source of encouragement, Biblical wisdom, truth, and hope!

I love listening to these podcast. I believe they are an encouragement to me!! I started with the marriage series and drifted into other series or episodes. I love how easily they are to listen and to follow along. I usually listen to one episode in between my commute to work. It’s a great way to wrap up my day as I’m driving home.

I absolutely love The Thankful Homemaker podcast. Marci is like a good friend stopping by to share godly, biblical wisdom over a cup of coffee! She is encouraging, not patronizing, and shares from her own struggles as a way to point us to Christ and encourage us to do better. In this culture of “relatability”, when laziness and slothful behavior is minimized with a “same girl same” attitude, Marcy lovingly calls us to be the best versions of ourselves in all areas of life through the strength only Christ can provide. Perfection is not the goal with this podcast. However, March does point to the One who is Perfect and reminds us to be good and faithful stewards of all of the blessings God has bestowed upon us. Fussy kids and big messes included!

Marci is so sweet and encouraging. Listening to her podcast is like sitting down with a friend for coffee. I love how she gently draws from Scripture and consistently points the listener to hope in Christ. As a stay-at-home mom of 5, this encouragement is a balm for my soul. Her voice also reminds me of a soothing radio host from back in the day haha!! 10/10 recommend

This podcast has been such a blessing and encouragement to me. I am a mom of two young children and I own a business (working part-time from home). I have often felt overwhelmed trying to “do it all”, but Thankful Homemaker has infused a new energy into my homemaking skills as I seek to manage my home in a way that glorifies God.
