Nicole ElizaRecent episode with Martha BeckWhile Martha Beck had beautiful insight into dealing with anxiety in motherhood, her continual degradation of a worldwide religion was disturbing. She was meant to bring light and positivity but kept going back to negativity. With her being a lesbian, she must know how it feels to be the minority and to be looked down upon for how she lives her life. If she would have left out the negativity and so much judgement, this could have been a wonderful episode. You may need to filter part of what is said in these interviews because the tearing down of other's beliefs should not be acceptable and is extremely hurtful. What she has said about the "Mormon" church is simply not true and more fact checking should be done before releasing information that is so harmful and degrading. Stick to how to help mothers with their anxiety and leave out why she hates the Mormon religion. She felt overwhelmed from life because she was going to Harvard, and raising children all at the same time, not to mention a Down Sydrome child. That is enough to make anyone burnt out and question life. She was not unhappy because of a religion. It was just her excuse. The LDS faith actually allows you to choose for yourself and brings love and peace into a dark world, which is exactly everything she is trying to teach.

MHannahKAbsolutely LOVEI absolutely LOVE the topics Motherkind brings into discussion, and all of the wisdom and support I have gained from listening to this amazing podcast. I found Motherkind at 3 months postpartum desperate for community and a fresh perspective on motherhood. A lot of the advice I was hearing didn’t feel right to me. This podcast has held me and empowered me to be my best self and trust my gut and listen to my baby above all else. Thank you Zoe!

lindamariearmNot a mum yet but on my journeyI’m not a mom yet, but I’m learning how the loss of my mother as a small child impacted the rest of my life. Listening to this podcast is surely helping me understand what I lost, and how I can heal myself for my next stage into motherhood. Very grateful for this podcast

Mariel 1111A self-care hug!I’m currently living overseas during this pandemic, whilst pregnant. It’s fair to say I’m more isolated than ever. Every morning I listen to the Motherkind podcast whilst walking the dog and it feels like I’m giving myself a big self-care hug each day. It’s relatable, informative and supportive, especially as this is my first pregnancy.

MiranycWonderful interviewer and intervieweesI love the topics and they are so relevant to me. I have learnt so so much, even learning a new word “matresence” for the time of enormous changes that go on in a new mother’s life. Just finished the podcast with Glennon Doyle. What a wonderful, vulnerable, uplifting conversation. Thank you! ❤️

Zoe DonleyLove this podcast!I stumbled across this podcast via Rebecca Campbell’s interview with Zoe and I am so glad I did! As a new mother, and an ‘older first time mother’ at 39, so much of what is discussed in these interviews is stuff I’ve already experienced through my own journey and it has made me feel like I’m not alone in this more holistic approach to motherhood which doesn’t have much guidance in the mainstream. Thank you Zoe!

table rosaI did not know I was missing this until I listened...I love this podcast. Dr. Gabor Maté being my current favorite. Zoe leads the most comfortable & informative interviews. I love taking the time to have a listen while my eldest is in school & my newborn naps. She leaves me feeling inspired & connected to my role as a woman, friend, partner, daughter & mother, all of it. I whole heartedly recommend this podcast to every mom on the planet.

RemivimaFascinating interviewsI stumbled upon The Motherkind Podcast when I did a search for interviews of Dr Oscar Serrallach. What a great and informative interview that was. After that I listen every week and it’s been a wonderful investment of my time. Zoe asks good questions, tells it like it is and one feels her utmost knowledge and compassion for the motherhood journey. Her recent interview of Amanda Freer was also very uplifting and interesting. Thank you Zoe!
