john in 10 miledescending into nothingWas fun to listen to some of the guests, but it seems Peter took all he could from the bitcoin community and moved on to what amounts to nothing. Peter now finding his home with retired neocon warmongers by shilling for NATO.
-
Grin DribblyExcellent showReally liked your episode with Jake Hanrahan. He’s been my favorite reporter for years, and your conversation made me subscribe to your podcast. It’s cool to hear people who are not just siloed into one political camp or another, who can have a civil conversation even when they don’t agree, and who are passionate about journalism. Anyways, God bless you both. Keep up the good work.

1988 Macintosh SE/30Listened to Pete since 2017, but…Struggling to get through the recent episodes. Feels like Pete having the exact same conversation on his feelings about “managed decline” and Libertarian and UK Reform party flirtation, with increasingly right-wing personalities. No balance and no alternative viewpoints. I have deleted some episodes 15 mins in and now only selectively download. Farage, Trump and Reform is NOT the answer Pete. This is the 4th turning. They are populism. Do not amplify their divisive message please.
-
MrDeLaVegaUnderwhelmingI’m sure Peter is some people’s cup of tea, and I know he throws softballs for guests so listeners can more easily follow - but god dammit it’s painful listening to this. The quality of content is just not there.
-
Mister nakomotoUsed to be betterWas better as a Bitcoin focused podcast.

Frank BellizziWhat an EvolutionFrom an interesting podcast to one of the most insightful, analytical, informative, and engaging platforms exploring all things bitcoin and bitcoin related. Love it, major kudos to this team.

AslskaterFun and InformativeI really enjoy Peter’s interview style and think he hosts great guests! The latest episode with Bunney was one of my favorites. It included a wide range of topics like parenting, govt. intervention, and Bitcoin, which resulted in a very thought provoking conversation. I always learn from Peter and I appreciate that sometimes his guests and him veer off into other subjects outside BTC because it makes the podcast feel human and natural, not robotic. Peter does a great job to steer the conversation and his enthusiasm on the topic shows.
-
Hawk:1Love itIt’s such a easy listen and informative show. I like how Peter has his views but doesn’t try to prove to his guests that he is right.
-
Jesus_Christ_is_1November 10th EpisodeThey spent 1st 15 minutes discussing soccer and rap music. I don’t tune in for that. Show your subscribers respect and take it offline.
-
Rick DeLongGreat podcastPeter’s a fantastic interviewer.
-
Outta Shape RickFavoriteThis is one of my favorite shows to listen to. Always has great guests and makes you think.
-
kylerollinsUnprepared & lazy? For such a great topic and a previously great show it seems his fame has gotten to him and now he has gotten complacent. Showing up and blabbering on about drinking and being fat is for losers. Insulting guests by disagreeing with them because of some personal bias while not having read their books is ridiculous. Enjoy your football team and pls hang this podcast up.
-
21SeanTaylorINTWBD is the Rogan of Bitcoin.Reliably consistent content. Endless list of incredible guests being hit with fantastic questions. Guests range from your favourites, to people you have never heard of. Always entertaining, very informative and high quality production. Open to both sides of the debate. The only echo chamber here is the most singular truth in the world; Bitcoin is the way!
-
hwetsmanHonest and SimplePeter McCormack tells his guests he’s a moron. He’s not, but he isn’t lying about his intelligence. He deliberately keeps things simple so that the audience isn’t overwhelmed by the technicalities of bitcoin. If you’ve felt you wanted to learn about bitcoin and couldn’t get past certain obstacles, search Peter’s shows for the topics that have troubled you. You’ll find clear explanations and enough repetition to clear the confusion.
-
B. MoeGreat show. I always look forward to new episodes. This show everything I need from a podcast: intelligent and stimulating conversation, while not being boring. Those are the key ingredients. Highly recommend.
-
thisguymcgheeHighly Recommend!!!Macro economic and all kinds of money talk. Sometimes bitcoin too. Much love!
-
spltngheadacheGreat show!Interesting for both beginners and veterans to the industry. Easy going dialog, well organized conversations, and great production. Love this show and I think if you give it a listen you will too. Thanks Peter and team!
-
RullyrfhrryooJournalism isn’t deadPeter is a winsome and talented interviewer and his skill drawing explanations from guests about technically difficult topics is so helpful. WBD is the glass of water for taking your orange pill.
-
TSeltzerGood General InfoI've regularly listened to this podcast for about a year. It's quite good for general issues related to Bitcoin, including politics and economics. It becomes pretty farcical when issue stray to other blockchains, though. Listening to two Bitcoiners try to describe Ethereum recently was comical, at best. So: Good for Bitcoin and directly related issues; not useful when describing other blockchains.
-
winamp2000Everything Bitcoin 101Stop listening to every other podcast for a minute and tune in to understand the legendary and revolutionary change to ever happen to money : Bitcoin. The guests that Peter has over explain and allow us the privilege of understanding a ton of nuances around this topic. Not single episode is boring either. Get on it. Now.
-
elegantmachinesMy Way Into BitcoinThis podcast has been huge for me in helping understand Bitcoin more fully. Trying to go “down the rabbit hole” by yourself with regard to Bitcoin can be a daunting task. Peter has some (most?) of the most important thinkers in and around the Bitcoin space today. I couldn’t recommend it any higher.
-
JumparoniNhGreat show.
-
Sjp0889Best Bitcoin PodcastGreat long form fully dissected conversation about all the relevant topics in Bitcoin today. Love Peter and his ability to ask simple yet direct questions and push his guests to give their complete answers. In this day and age I think it is important to establish answers to the simple questions first as it broadens the intellectual understanding of the audience. Recently the production quality has gotten a lot better and kudos for that, but sometimes I wish I could hear conversations about developing stories in semi-current real time. It feels like episodes are released weeks after the conversation is had. How would you feel about a short weekly conversation with Danny about the events of the week? Just a thought. Cheers from Hawaii. Bring on Nathaniel Harmon!
-
WSU Coug 77Love it!Hey Peter I really love your show, keep up the great work and content and guests. How come Willy Woo hasn’t been on lately? We need more Willy!

Caitlin2828He cites stats totally out of context to play on peoples emotionsHe just said that 40% of gdp was government spending 🙄. He had just finished complaining about how many staffers each member of congress has and goes on to talk about government employees not being paid under Chavez. The implication is that 40% of gdp is spent on things like staffers. This is a WILD way to spin this stat (a stat from 2011, I think, although I can’t be sure because of course he doesn’t cite it). The 40% stat uses a definition of government that includes things like military spending of course, but then all public universities and hospitals. Not just money spent by the government on those things, but the full cost of public university and hospital systems. Do you like bug spray, duct tape, microwaves, computers, the internet? All inventions funded by government spending. I like not having an exploded appendix (public hospital) and not remembering my appendectomy (anesthesia was invented by a university professor). Feel how you want about government spending, but get your definitions right. That 40% figure sounds way different when you consider what it actually includes. This might seem nuanced or nitpicky but nuance is REALLY important when it comes to finances. Def don’t take advice from someone who plays fast and loose with his stats.
-
phoeniix315Great showPete is very intentional with his guests and subjects and he continues to reinvest in his product. It’s a great show that covers a lot of topics in the bitcoin world as well as the intersection with the world everyone else is living in. He’s authentic and genuinely curious which leads to a great learning experience for us all.
-
AavidRRBroad range of topics and guestsWell connected host is a thoughtful interviewer and while clearly a bitcoin supporter is intelligent enough to ask great questions. His quest for knowledge and understanding trumps the vapid hype that consumes others. THANK YOU!
-
cryptsNOTbloodsCrapp-it Hole RecapI’d call him a has been, but he never really was. Personally driven and a non truth seeker. Pure click bait. Burning dumpster fire of rude and crude behavior.
-
dillnutsThe most intellectually honest bitcoin podcastMost podcasts in the bitcoin space are unabashedly deluded — true believers shrieking excitedly to each other, working themselves further into a lather about the Utopia it will shortly unleash on the world. Peter is one of the very few who actually seems interested in exploring the edges and trying to get at the truth. He’s pro-bitcoin, but not uncritically so. He has a diversity of guests with a diversity of opinions, not just the usual rotating crew of bag-pumping cultists. If you want to really understand bitcoin and its potential impact on society for both good and ill, this is your best shot.
-
LemmingfanPeter has a very specific giftIf anyone was put on this earth to elicit the best in-depth interviews related to Bitcoin, Peter would be the one. More important than being a cheerleader, Peter takes on the more controversial topics. Not always 100% successfully, but always humbly and insightfully.
-
Hashimoto777Great Use of TimeLoved the Booth interview! Your style is amazing. Keep up the good work. The many F bombs are a little offensive to me, but I know it’s likely ingrained in you. They won’t keep me from listening. I feel a bit more intelligent and able to fit the puzzle pieces together after each podcast. Great stuff!
-
pyschedelicfarmerAmazingThe Jeff Booth interview was in the office op 5 best podcasts I’ve ever listened to. I listened twice and have shared it widely.
-
ks2627Love this oneSo glad I found this pod. Interesting discussions with very interesting people. Add this to your list if you’re a lifelong learner. It’s not just about crypto at all. Keep up the good work
-
Jagger_BradyImproved showI think the second Weinstein interview revealed a lot about the evolution of this show, as well as the host, over time and I’d say this show has gotten better because of it. I appreciate the content and hope you keep it up!
-
Hutson is coolName change-I have been listening since 2107 please do not change the name. To your point of attracting different crypto maxis or even not maxis- my mother always says that in many cases it is simply “if you don’t ask you don’t get!” The point being invite those folks, the name is not a deterrent. For example I would love to see Charles Hoskinson, Buterin etc… If you had to change the name do it as a wholly separate show that would accompany or start at the end of your regular show- an afterword. Ed 🤷♂️

johjohnson28An important show on an important topicThere is a ton of bitcoin content out there, What Bitcoin Did stands above the rest. Peter is a thoughtful host who books the broadest variety of subject matter experts. If you want to understand how Bitcoin can impact the world, this is the show to listen to.
-
NPC509123The great decieverPeter sold his soul for the mammon. Sponsored by the worst of the worst. Avoid at all costs
-
KschlossBig government anti bitcoinStay away - paid shill for alt coins with bad advice. This rat lost all his money gambling do your research
-
fcorvaPeter Is Maturing as an InterviewerPeter has become more thoughtful, less of a cult leader. His thoughts are more nuanced. He has also seemingly become more comfortable challenging some of the prevailing sentiment/thoughts in Bitcoin world. Highly recommended listen, especially if you are new to Bitcoin.
-
Dr.jake.brownWell roundedPeter is humble in the way he interviews guests and because he is interested rather than trying to be interesting it makes for great dialogue. I like the approach of seeking diverse sets of ideas instead of just speaking into the echo chamber. You can tell that Pete is constantly honing his craft to provide more value rather than just scalping for more eyes and ears.
-
mrchrisbGreat showPeter’s interviewee selection, questions, and style are fantastic. I find his reasoned approach and open mind (and open questions) to be a breath of fresh air, particularly in what seems to me to be an increasingly politically polarized bitcoin space.
-
YamahmanContent is okay, hate the excessive swearingListened for a while but the cussing just isn’t what I want to hear all the time.
-
Sara WallInformative, Authentic and HonestI like this podcast to learn about Macro Economics and Bitcoin. Peter doesn’t pretend to understand an idea unless it’s clear. He makes sure that guests start at the 101 level for the newbs but it’s interesting content for the more advanced listener. Peter seems like a decent human without a giant ego. He says his piece rather the opinion will be unpopular or not, making his approach to conversations more authentic.
-
mru22Great podcastExcellent podcast with a great variety of guests.
-
Rodrigo1.2.3.A Must Listen To Podcast for Anybody in BitcoinFrom beginners to pros, this podcast really helps explain all aspects of crypto and especially Bitcoin. It helped me increase my knowledge and learn new things. It helped me shift my career into bitcoin.
-
DongriincLots of cursing and bad jokesIf that’s what you are looking to hear then you are in the right place.
-
Lost ArrowBecoming an echo chamber…Unfortunately this show is regularly starting to sound like a bunch of abrasive old male libertarian millionaires not understanding the terrible choices the “younger generation” are making and lamenting all government regulatory control. It has also evolved into inviting guests that hold identical opinions to the host so that they may cooperatively lament the stupidity of non-bitcoiners and sit in an OG bitcoiner silo together drinking the self-sovereignty kool aid. Meanwhile, the Bitcoin hypothesis of inflation-resistant asset is clearly falling apart as institutional money, the Fed and retail investors take turns freaking each other out. It is an isolationist smarter-than-thou wind that I think this podcast needs to decide what to do with - continue to drift in a direction that pushes away a larger bitcoin community that is evolving and growing or attempt to trace the larger, evolving bitcoin narrative in a broad, neutral and investigative way that educates and enlightens. I’ve enjoyed this podcast immensely in the past but it has been hard to listen to lately.
