Not great

I’m so sad they stopped making this because it has been one of my favorite podcasts. I’m going to listen to it again because it’s phenomenal.

This podcast is one of my most listened to solely for the fact that it is so boring and helps me fall asleep. I went into it trying to learn new things but found your voices too soothing to listen to during the day. Either way, thanks!

This show is amazing. I love the amount of work that you guys put into all the material you speak on. The friendly banter between American English and British English is entertaining as well (especially for a person who moved to the US after using the metric system!) I love to listen to this podcast either when I mow or drive. It makes the time go by fast.

The brainfood show is a top quality podcast. It’s the type of podcast you could randomly click play on any episode and it would be thoroughly entertaining. Both gentlemens’ voices are pleasant to listen to, and their witty banter and hilarious asides keep their shows unpredictable. The cherry on top is the fact that you actually learn a lot about interesting topics from the episodes. Great show gentlemen, keep up the phenomenal work.

Congratulations on the second child Simon, when you get Danny back in the basement give me more brain food.

I found this show in January and love it. I only have two more episodes left to listen to. It hasn’t been updated since last year so I’m afraid it is over.

I really hope they keep doing the Star Trek facts.

I hope Simon and Daven bring the podcast back. They finally hit a perfect stride and then they disappear. Fascinating stories, great banter, and a lot of getting totally off track.

So on the last episode Daven said he’d bought an airplane. That was about five months ago, and there have been no updates since. I’m starting to get concerned. I hope everything is okay because this is one of my top favorite podcasts and the hosts seem like great guys. I’m sure it’s nothing, but I can’t help but think about the whole Amelia Earhart thing.

Easily my favorite podcast full of interesting info and effortless banter between Simon and Devin. Came to it after discovering Today I found out and top tenz. Love all of your works, even if you disappear from the podcasts for long periods, hope you’re all alright

I’ve listened to hours and hours of this podcast and the casual criminalist while recovering from surgery. The long deep dives are appreciated.

Each episode has great topics and the banter between the hosts is perfect.

I’ve been binge listening to these as I drive or do other tasks. It’s great listening to something educational and interesting. I’ve listened and/or watched several of Simon’s channels. Thank you for your time in making my day a bit brighter. 😁

I love this podcast and look forward to more episodes. Very informative and fun. Of course I subscribe to anything Simon does because it has always turned out well for me. Business Blaze is my favorite but this is a close second! Simon’s personality shines through.

I’ve followed some of the YouTube channels for a bit now, but I’m reeeeelly late to the podcast party. I’m so glad I looked into podcasts, and this is exactly what I needed. Subscribed to all the Boy with the Blazes YouTube channels and this lead me here to the first podcast I’ve ever listened to . I’ve stared oldest to newest on the Brainfood show , just about to start Medieval Times pt1 . You guys are absolute Legends and it’s mind blowing the attention to detail and amount of work y’all put in to these shows. So crank up ETA , unlock the basement door , pass out the Doner kebabs , top off the Enron mugs and cheers to the best dang podcast on the interwed in 2021 . P.s. If your on a road trip and are looking for something to listen to, especially if your by yourself, the conversation pulls you in quickly and it feels like they are in the back seat.

I found this podcast while looking for something to keep my mind occupied while doing house chores. At first I went through and picked the few that I thought I would find interesting and then I realized - they’re all interesting! So then I worked my way backwards from newest from oldest. I really enjoy the banter between Simon and Daven and all the interesting stories about everything under the sun. As one of your fewer female listeners, I would recommend this show to anyone, it is fun and informative and an all around great way to keep your mind busy while doing menial tasks or commuting to and from work!

Today I found out + business blaze

Been watching on YouTube for ages, finally started listening here, love it

Long format, lots of dicussion and references, lots of awesome information, and I could listen to Simon talk all day (Daven as well, but Simon’s accent is super chill and soothing). They have great chemistry and really play off of each other’s strengths and weaknesses. For exampe, Simon doesn’t Iike Star Wars and doesn’t really watch many popular movies. Daven does. However Daven doesn’t like most vegitables, but Simon does, etc.. I discovered this podcast after being an avid TIFO annd Business Blaze fan (the latter of which is he best channel on YouTube). I’ve been listening to everything in reverse order and have almost gone through all their post content. My only complaint is the lack of new podcasts. Earlier in the streams, it seems they would release one or so every week. The latests podcasts come about once a month (if we’re lucky). I’d love more, but I understand that Simon and Daven are some of the busiest people on the internet. I know I can always check out the YT channnels for content, but it’s easier to listen to these podcasts while I’m at work...even if I’m working from my sofa. Keep up the awesome and keep ‘em coming! And Simon, please watch The Princess Bride.

Everything simon Whistler does is extraordinarily entertaining. Though honestly I’m writing this review for a shot at wining the $1000 amazon Gift card so I can buy more zebra sex mask for my cult

I watch all of Simons ytube video’s and love them. Brainfood is great because, like in the Blaze, you get to see (or hear in this case) Simon display some actual personality. Keep up the great work on all you do. Smash that dislike button. Just have to now, finally some new stuff.

I’ve been enjoying this podcast on my commute for the last couple of years. I love the conversational tone and Simon’s ad libs. They have a great rapport and the research is top notch. My only complaint is that both Simon and Daven struggle with how to discuss difficult topics, particularly violence towards women. They tend to awkwardly laugh at how awful something is, which is a bit off-putting.

Funny, interesting, one of the best podcasts out there.

I’m a huge fan of these guys’ other shows on other forms of media, but this format is what helps me get through long drives. Always excellent and informative work. Simon’s got a great voice to listen to.

This podcast is informative and entertaining. I liked the Today I Found Out YouTube videos so it was natural that I’d like this. It’s not dry and these two have some funny banter back and forth. I took it down to 4 stars because the upload schedule is all over the place and, I guess because I’m feeling petty, Daven often mispronounces extremely common American words and names. I know it’s tricky for some people, but I’m smh sometimes. Nevertheless, you two are awesome, keep it up.
