I mean, I have been hearing a lot of bad reviews so I don’t know if I’m gonna give you five star or one star so I’m just gonna give you Headstart heads up and give you like i’ve been here a lot about reviews so I think nobody likes your thing. Sorry.

I wasn’t sure my 2.5 yo was old enough for this, but she was hooked after the very first episode I played for her. She loves the Name That Sound segment and the songs about the lonely t-Rex and the donkey farm. Some of the stuff is a bit advanced for her, but she’s learning and listening the whole time.

My daughter and I discovered this podcast during the pandemic. In December of 2020, we drove from Boston to Los Angeles to move my parents with us. Noodle Loaf saved us and I will forever be grateful. It makes me sad that Dan dropped this podcast without warning. For the past few years he makes an episode when he needs to promote his work. I get it but little kids don’t. My daughter, who is autistic, is eight years old and is always asking for new episodes. I was even a Patreon subscriber but stopped when Dan fell off the face of the earth. Dan doesn’t owe his fans anything but a nice goodbye.

Too many songs so annoying made for toddlers but the age rating is six and up too many cheesy songs 😠

Episode Dingo Bingo Bongo includes a song about how families can be different and included lyrics about families with 2 mommies and 2 daddies. Was not planning to have to have this conversation today with my 4 year old- the age that I feel this podcast is intended- but now I’m forced to. Why couldn’t this have stayed a fun podcast for kids without any agenda?

I have worked as a music educator, and I was thrilled to find this for my own 4 year old. Through silliness and fun, he is practicing rhythm, listening skills, pitch matching, and lyric play (which of course also fosters his literacy skills). He is also hearing themes of inclusivity reinforced in natural ways.

Super smart and fun (and often funny) songs! Perfect length for kids’ attention span! Doodles and art appreciation with music! Lots of learning about rhythm and rhyming and improvisation! Inclusivity and empathy and caring about the world around us in ways kids can start to understand! My six year old and I love this podcast. A must-follow for kids and grown growns alike.

If you’re looking to share vaccines and woke idealism then this is your podcast. I for one will NOT be subjecting my kids to this. Sad that this is happening. It’s a shame because it’s a cute podcast until promoting vaccines of COVID and teaching kids about lgbtq.

My 4 year old and 20 month old love when I put this on in the car - we listen on the way to school in the mornings. Even the little one has started singing the "la la la" part :) it's perfect for their age groups!

I have a three year old who has now spent the majority of her life in a pandemic. As a student/working/mom during this time, I’ve started running out of ideas. We had gotten a little too dependent on the tv. So, I tried something new! Instead of some of that tv time, I put on this podcast while we played. She loved it. Next thing I know we are singing echo songs on our regular commutes, and clapping it back during bath times. Even better, I see my child getting better at things like rhythm, rhyming, and a lot more confidence in making up good old nonsense.
