Nice in-depth analyses of current affairs from a Marxist point of view. Lots of historical context. Much deep thinking about complicated issues. a welcome relief from the pablum usually provided by mainstream media.

This week’s episode with Adam Tooze is particularly good. Wide ranging discussion on potential aftermath of CD19 crisis. Essential listening, not just for the left.

This podcast is terrifically good at getting me to think. I’ve found it not only informative on current events, but provides a deeper understanding of theory that can be applied to other stories. I highly recommend listening.

If you like the more academic episodes of Jacobin’s The Dig, this podcast turns that mood on blast. These are long and enlightening interviews with prominent scholars, always with a focus on how their expertise are relevant to leftist ideology and politics.

I appreciate the host's apparent goal of letting the guests talk, being that it's an excellent curation of guests and topics. Rather than talking heads or a series of host-oriented diatribes, it's an honest exploration of ideas on a single topic, by that a great contributor. A must listen if you're interested in leftist politics, critical theory, or other.

Superb. One of the most consistently informative podcasts on the left.
