UPDATE-Opie needs to lose his new speech pattern-very annoying. Opie should listen to his old radio shows and try that approach not the new valley girl impressions. Carl is great! He could be the host since he is very entertaining and funny. Don’t like the traveling podcasts where you hear a lot of background noises. Opie tries a little too hard but he has definitely improved.

This podcast is audio embarrassment. It’s a poor attempt at being humorous or relevant. When Opie got fired by Sirius/XM in 2014 he should have taken some time off and ventured into another field. Listen to another podcast because this one isn’t worth your time.

This guy has done & said some absolutely abhorrent things when he was on O&A. One (of the millions) that stands out as the worst was when a homeless man proudly showed them a cake he had earned, and this monster stomped on it and laughed in his face…. but keep supporting him, I guess?

All this man does is whine about the show he USED to be on and prefaces is it by saying something like “I don’t like to keep talking about this” as if anyone truly believes that. He’s doing it because he knows people will listen, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that he’s starting to realize that no one - and I mean no one - listened to his old radio show because they liked him. Everyone else was why they tuned in and he knows it, so he’s trying to profit by riding their coat tails and trashing them. It’s transparently boring and he isn’t fooling anyone.

Wow.. I tried to give Opie a chance. Opie is great at steering the ship when he has funny people like Anthony and Jimmy as co-hosts. But Opie is out of touch with reality. To think his topics are something the masses like? (the low listener and views on YouTube) if he gets view or listeners it because he’s talking about someone on the show that he used to be a part of. Is it any wonder why NOBODY from the old show keeps in touch with him? He starts something and then cries wolf, and then wants people to leave him alone? Opie was great on the O&A show, no denying that. But he’s terrible on his own. And I was an Opie supporter for a long time.. I just can’t justify him crying every time someone says something about him. Grow up.

And Opie is a whining baby.

This is a great show not to long and not to short, was able to cut the yard and put this show on and stay entertained the whole time. Recommended to any podcast fan.

He’s real and but still has some that old school Opie bad ways in him to give us great radio. He’ll make you laugh and the OG of the O

The past is history. The future is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present. Move on from the past and consider creating new content. Otherwise constantly reminiscing about the things that happened in radio a long time ago has run it’s course.

I never hated Opie but this is pure trash. He can’t finish a thought and has no direction. It’s pathetic to hear and old man do this and think it’s good.

Opie would have made a great PD he has no appeal on air. With that said, he has surrounded himself with funny people for decades. He is simply not entertaining, interesting, or funny.

At least he gave us Carl. Vic and Sherrod were great also Op. reminds me to not judge and to be kind to people the way Carl was. On the show….I hv no questions now that my mind is Soooo blown.

Irrelevant…boring … don’t waste your time

is that it gives great material to the boys at What Are These Podcasts to use every week to rightfully mock Opie. Karl is correct, Opie has always been a hack. It’s unfair that life handed him the early success he never deserved. But now we all see the truth and depth of his lack of talent. And everyone knows.

I listened to several episodes and not once did I hear the other cohost of the show. My friend sent me a link for a few episodes and it was completely different. I was expecting the but he does where he pretends to have a bad podcast, in one episode he’s in a bare pretending to be a huge star. The the other guys good on him, it’s so funny how Opie plays a fool. This is missing all the production the other has, and the guest host who pretend to be mean to him. 😁😌 I would not post anymore episodes alone, bring back the upstate boys who are these????

Worst podcast out there I tried to give it a chance everyone has a bad day but this show is unbearable I wasted 3 hours of my life I’ll never get back it’s time to hang it up put the mic down and figure something else out so disappointing

Nothing is more intense than listening to a mentally deranged guy waiting in his car to move it for the street sweeper. My question is when are we going to get an in depth interview with the guy who drives the actual street sweeper?

Nowadays he’s just pointing cameras in the face of people who have mental issues on Instagram and reposting things from a long time ago. The true gold is when he works cohesively as a team with talented people. That’s prior to 2014. It’s 2021

Listened to O & A religiously on the radio! Went to their comedy tours. So happy to hear Opie again!!! Listening from episode one and it’s like old times!

This is just not good

I never was a huge fan of Opie and Anthony, but I did find them funny when I would get a chance to listen to them on the radio. I would say that I’ve now come to realize that Opie was the guy dragging them down. Now when I’m able to listen to Anthony or Jimmy or anyone else from that show I laugh, but this is boring, so boring I had to unsubscribe after only listening to three or four of these episodes. Try it out for yourself but if you do make sure you drink some caffeine before you listen are you going to be put right to sleep. Actually I was thinking maybe the sky isn’t even trying to be funny maybe this isn’t a comedy show?

Yikes this is hard to listen too.

I look forward to new episodes. Sometimes thoughtful, sometimes deep...but most times funny and light, just what we all need right now. P.S. Love Dawgie!!

Mike Bocchetti AND Vics old neighbor in one episode. Boy, you really are nipping at the heels of Joe Rogan type podcasting success as you predicted. Seriously are you retarded?
