    Poor Researching
Although I have enjoyed the show, I’m disappointed that they really don’t do research and report incorrect information. One example would be claiming that Amber Frye did not know the police were recording her phone calls while they were investigating Scott Petersen. She absolutely knew and was cooperating with the police, and worked hard to get him to give information (a fact that is plain if you listen to the clips MWM played for their show). Very disappointing.

    Funny?
I’m a little confused. I started listening and I’m wondering why you both joke through very serious topics? I get why. I know it’s like “how stupid is this killer?” But it still feels a bit disrespectful.

    Feeling neglected
What’s happening? Did it stop or are they only now for upper tiers

    Just stop atp
It’s progressively gotten worse and worse with every post. Long wait times and repetitive. This is probably my last episode.

    Not for me
I almost thought this podcast must be some sort of weird parody. I’m not sure how much insight we gain from the hosts, mostly conjecture, babble and inappropriate comments. Some comments are funny if you think of it as a parody, their style is unique I will give them that. It’s just not tasteful but that’s my take. It’s also not very contemplative and does not add to the context of the actual interviews. As a listener of a wide range of podcasts that lean heavy in the true crime world, I’m left confused. I don’t mean to be rude, just wondering what it does for the world to consume this content when it is not well thought out and the expert host hardly shares expertise but rather takes us off on tangents. Mindful consumption of content in this genre is important. Consider looking elsewhere.

    Just love you guys!
I just found your podcast, I love it! I just binged all the Chris Watts episodes and I am totally hooked. I love how you really break everything down. Thank you!!

    Stop bashing
If you don’t like a podcast stop listening to it. Don’t criticize the hosts for their style.

    Long wait
So frustrating when it takes 2-4 weeks to get the next episode. The first episode of the Nikolas Cruz case was late June. 4 months later we just got episode 6. It’s hard to follow a story when you get one episode every few weeks.

    Waiting
So 1 free cast a month? Used to be every week, what happened

    The Bizarre interrogation ...
This is a CLASSIC. The detective has pre-interviewed the alleged offender. The offender has been made to give these answers. It's not bizarre if you listen to the Central Park five or those two guys {yikes, Ronnie X future baseball star & the other guy, in maybe Oklahoma (?)} ❤️ yo nana

Love you guys, but overcharging is not ethical
I’m saddened that you charge people so much money to access these confession videos when they are not exclusive to your show and are readily available on YouTube for free…Please reconsider the amount you charge. It is astronomical. There are high quality streaming services offering hundreds/thousands of shows for $4 and, yet, you are asking $5 for ONE episode! I mean your voices and input are amazing, but…$25/month?

    The best
Love you two and your approach to the stories you tell. Yours is one of my top 3 podcasts on true crime.

    More consistent episodes!
I am a huge true crime girl and I LOVE this podcast! Love the footage and the various perspectives from the true crime whisperer! I did have to leave a 4/5 star review because the episodes are released randomly. I wish it came out on a consistent basis!

    Kinda lost their touch
They need to go back to the weekly format. This monthly stuff is not good.

Love the show but stop with the 911 calls
Enjoy the show but really am having a hard time with the reasoning to play these morbid stand alone 911 dispatch calls. Honestly feels click baity and theatrical. Please stop I think other long time listeners will also agree.

    Odd
Agree with several other listeners, lots of weird inappropriate HYSTERICAL laughter on some of these brutal, unfortunate cases. Specifically the Watts case where two toddlers and a pregnant wife were murdered. Kinda disgusting.
  • _nina95_
    Ehh
It’s really not cool when the hosts of a true crime podcast are laughing hysterically while telling these stories. Just listened to Shanann Watt’s episode, these two were cackling non stop in between discussing such a horrible tragedy. I had to stop listening when they were laughing about not pronouncing Shanann’s name correctly. GROSS

    Love
I got annoyed at a couple comments and gave a bad review but I’ve given the show another chance and I actually do like it. I think they’re funny and I like their insights.

    Excellent discussions
Also excellent dissections of the audio/video recordings of the murderers. Listening now to the Chris Watts series. That FBI agent was amazing, and the ticking clock in the interrogation room! One thing I remember from the documentary An American Murder is that, when police asked Watts how tall his children were, he was instantly able to say their heights in inches. Who knows their toddlers’ heights in inches? Even moms don’t know that because they’re growing so fast, much less dads. Parents say “about thigh-high” or “about three feet.” Or a mom will gesture how high on her own leg the kids measure. You can have taken your kids to the pediatrician just yesterday, you still don’t know exactly how many inches they are, or exactly how many pounds. And Watts immediately responds “38 inches.” I was like, wow, bad answer. Anyhow, I’m up to the episode where he takes the polygraph test, and am loving the hosts’ excellent discussions.

    Stressful to listen to.
Might be good but after 15 minutes of listening to the female host talk at break neck speed who breathless pace made me feel stressed. Too much drama for me. Deleted.

    Not a laughing matter
The episodes about Chris Watts are interesting, but I felt like it was inappropriate for the hosts to be laughing throughout the commentary since the topic involves the brutal murders of a young mother and her innocent children. I get it that it was good to see Watts incriminate himself, but it still felt pretty insensitive.

    Funny?
Yes! To laugh at that horrible Watts killer is poetic justice. I hope you both will take this case completely up through 2022; there’s so much yo discuss.

Always great!!! I’m excited when new episodes drop.

    Keep on topic
I forgot why I stopped listening to this podcast. When you stop bashing America and just speak about what your podcast is supposed to be about then maybe you will gain us back.

    Great for True Crime Junkies
Love this podcast, it’s unique in True Crime. I have to point out a correction to a recent podcast- you mentioned that Casey Anthony can be retried with new evidence but that is false. No exceptions to double jeopardy (except maybe federal charges after state charges or Vice versa but that doesn’t apply here). She was acquitted of murder (IMO, wrongly) and cannot be charged with any murder, manslaughter related charges, regardless of new DNA evidence. If it was a mistrial because of a deadlocked jury they could have retried her. This is why some prosecutors decline to press charges on cases with weak evidence- it means they can’t try again later with better technology. This is not a U.S. so I don’t expect you to know our weird laws but I wanted to point that out. Love you guys!

    Glad I found this!
One thing I did notice when listening to the Routier case, there was a bunch of footage of her at the grave site, very sad and crying before the famous “silly string incident”, but of course they never showed that. Also, if there was a bloody fingerprint from another potential suspect, don’t you think that he would of transferred blood onto the sock in the alley? Like Darlie would of if it were her? This case has always fascinated me. I look forward to listening to all of the episodes! I’m so glad I found this podcast, I feel like I can relate so much to Amanda and am so intrigued by her years of correspondence with inmates!

    Disappointing
The title is misleading & really disappointed me. I thought this was a legit podcast that told a story, not just one that analyzed the case. It sounds like headline news via a podcast. Time to find another one!

    Great work!
It’s amazingly “freeing”, relaxing and yet just the right amount of a “news room” feel to this podcast that keeps me hitting play :) I love it! Question, who does your research? And do you welcome story ideas from your listeners? Also to all you complainers... FYI, when you leave reviews saying how “disgusting” and horrible a show is makes me only want to listen more, and the episode gets pushed to the front of the list, so thank you :) Thank you!!! Great podcast
Definitely got a perspective I haven’t heard in other docuseries. Great breakdown of the events and trial. Look forward to every Thursday for the new episode. Don’t know what I will do when it’s over.

    Not enough
The podcast focuses more on the hosts than on their topic: serial killers.
