Great interviews and access to so many interesting talents who contributed to Star Wars among other things. Can’t believe I didn’t discover this podcast sooner.

Brandon is a great interviewer and always brings the most out of the people he chats with. I love that he interviews people that have been part of the Star Wars universe in all kinds of ways. Always an entertaining and revealing listen.

The breadth of voices representing the many, many creative facets of that galaxy far, far away is such a blessing for fans and the historical record!

No one is doing it like Talking Bay 94 when it comes to interviewing creators from a galaxy far, far away. Brandon brings a unique array of talent to the show every single episode and I always learn something new. Taking into account every episode to date, it’s one of the most comprehensive behind-the-scenes chronicling of the Star Wars franchise. Talking Bay 94 is just one of the best around and the fan community is in a much better place with these incredible stories finding the limelight.

I’ve been listening to Talking Bay 94 when it was five episodes in and since that time, it’s never wavered from being a reliable source of information about Star Wars in all its facets, whether it’s in front of the scenes or behind them. The vastness of this podcast’s library is a true treasure trove, so much that it’s among the five podcasts that I keep past episodes stored on the hard drive so that I will always have access to them. Also appreciated is the easy going manner of the interviews with the guests, along with the incredibly rich array of people — cinematographers, sound experts, F/X and more. It’s an incredible window to an incredible saga and among the best in Star Wars podcasts.

Brandon consistently has some of the best interviews with some of the most amazing behind the scenes creators behind all eras of Star Wars! Love checking out this show and regularly thinking “oh yeah that guy/gal.” Well worth your time!

If you were like me, you often enough scoured the internet for as many behind the scenes documentaries, photos, videos, production books, concept art books, as much as possible. As amazing as all those resources are, nothing pales in comparison to the 1 to 1 interviews with the people who worked on our favorite universe. Talking Bay 94 is the exact podcast that fits this need. It is hands down the best piece of informative Star Wars media next to J.W. Rinzler's Star Wars production books. Each episode is easily consumable and gives the perspective of the people who worked on Star Wars. As a person born in the early 2000's, I never experienced the OT or even the PT at release, so these episodes are an amazing glimpse into how the industry was like back in the 70s, to early 90s, and even now. As of writing this, I am a college freshmen, but since highschool, I am pursuing a career in the film industry in animatronics and as a painter for costumes, props & miniatures. These podcast episodes have been an invaluable resource and have greatly helped me figure out what I want to specialize in. Furthermore, the podcast makes it more approachable to reach out to people in the film industry and make connections with them -- an invaluable skill that will make getting into the industry ever so less difficult. But I digress.... Listening to the recounting of a guest's life from start to present is incredibly inspiring and you as the listener feel more apart of the universe at large by hearing all these stories. History, of course, informs the present and I feel that having listened to these stories, I find a greater appreciation for not only the films of the past, but also the films of the present. From learning about motion-control filmmaking to costume work, to the Volume and much more, Talking Bay 94 encapsulates all that we love about Star Wars. I could say much more, but I'll keep it simple: listen to this podcast and savour all that you will learn from it.

Great guests and a knowledgeable host that does his research. Brandon knows how to keep the ball rolling during interviews while giving the guests space to tell their stories. A++

Absolutely great show, been enjoying it for a while now. I love the unique guests you get on which gives such a great insight to Star Wars and other films that honestly get created by these great hardworking behind the scenes people. It’s fun to hear their perspectives on the experience. The show has only enhanced my love for Star Wars which I have to say I’m an original generation, was 5 when Star Wars came out in 1977. But I also admit that I’m not biased about only the originals I love all of it. The more Star Wars the better and I haven’t disliked any of it. Of course Return of the Jedi is my favorite only because I have the fondest memories Of seeing that one being that I was at the right age. Congratulations on the marriage as well. I’ve been married for 24 years now and it’s an adventure. It has its highs and lows but always look at those experiences as your growth and adventure together. If you make it through the tough times it only gets better

Every episode of this show is incredible. Brandon is a master at starting a conversation but letting the guest take control to tell the true stories behind the making of the greatest saga of all time. Expect a lot of honesty from the guests taking advantage of the laid back atmosphere Brandon creates. It has become essential listening for my Star Wars projects as each episode has some bit of trivia or the truth behind the trivia that just isn’t available anywhere else!

I want to be Brandon when I grow up. His command & stewardship of the behind-the-scenes lore of Star Wars deserves to be celebrated. He’s both host and historian. Fan and advocate. Geek and activist. This is the kind of show that emphasizes the joy that ties us all together, and it’s so great to see the unsung heroes get the spotlight in that joy. Check it out and expand your horizons.

I was pretty burnt out on all things SW, but both Brandon’s enthusiasm for and knowledge about the franchise are refreshing and infectious, and this podcast is always a compelling listen. His often surprising guest roster is illustrative of just how deep his love for Star Wars is. And the real good news is that once in the seat, his guests are subjected to thoughtful, smart questions.

Hearing the unfiltered stories of these incredibly creatively talented people who worked on Star Wars truly is special. Brandon is a stellar interviewer who does his research and lets the guest speak! So many interviewers like to give their 2 cents on everything and that is quite annoying. That being said, any time Brandon does say something it feels like a special occasion and I listen closely because he obviously left it on for a good reason. Phenomenal interviews!

Sometimes it feels that there are as many Star Wars podcasts as there are Star Wars fans. With so many podcasts covering the galaxy far, far away, it can be really hard to find one that feels different. Talking Bay 94 sets itself apart by focusing on interviews with the creative talents behind the saga. I discovered the show during quarantine and spent the time binging every episode. Brandon is a good host and I'm always amazed at the guests he is able to land. I love hearing Brandon's passion Star Wars and admiration for the work his guests have done. His excitement comes across in the interviews without it ever feeing like The Chris Farley Show. Brandon and producer Jason put together fantastic interviews with people from every aspect of the making of our favorite saga. This show is the kind of behind the scenes goodness we used to get as DVD bonus features and Talking Bay 94 gives us a new one every week!

This is the best Star Wars interview podcast currently being produced. The people and stories are great, and I often find myself wishing that the episodes could go on longer. Check this out if you want to hear about people working in the entertainment world and especially Star Wars projects.

Brandon really knows his Star Wars. I love that he talks to all kinds of men and women (actors, authors, ILMers) who have worked on Star Wars projects and the interviews always feel like a conversation. If you are interested in learning about the careers of the interviewees, learning about the history of Star Wars, or discovering new facts about the making of Star Wars productions - this is a must-listen podcast.

I was 10 in 1977 when the original Star Wars came out, and I would relish any little bit of behind the scenes info I could find, which was just magazines and the occasional newspaper article(it helped my mom was a librarian in charge of the magazines! :) ) 43 years later and I'm still loving as much BTS stuff as I can, and Talking Bay 94 fills that need in a huge way! Love hearing from so many folks who don't seem to get interviewed as much, they all have incrdible stuff to tell. On top of that Brandon is so good at the interviews...but you can absolutely hear the fanboy in him just trying to stay under the surface! :) Awesome!

Brandon is the best host. He conducts great interviews with Star Wars icons and allows true fans access to first hand knowledge and details about the making of Star Wars. What an amazing outlet for all things Star Wars!

Talking Bay 94 podcast interviews a wide array of Star Wars actors, artisans, authors, and the like we seldom hear from. When I was in middle school in the ‘80s, I wanted to go into special effects, so I’m greatly enthused with the behind-the-scenes niche that comprises TB94’s podcasts. My favorite episode is with Craig Miller, the founder of the original Official Star Wars Fan Club!

A fun listen that features some of the “off the beaten path” Star Wars figures who usually don’t get the spotlight. And no fandumb drama to boot!

If you only pick from a few Star Wars podcasts out of the many out there, this should definitely be one of them. Great interviews with some of the best subjects in the SW creative world.

Currently the only Star Wars podcast in my queue...and as a life long fan, that is saying something.

If you like Behind the scenes stuff from the Star Wars franchise, there's no better podcast out there than Talking Bay 94. Great host, great guests. All around fantastic.

Killer Star Wars podcast! Episodes usually are a one on one style interview with a single member of the cast, production crew, FX supervisor, etc... These interviews provide valuable insight into the making of the pre-Disney era Star Wars films. At the time of this review, the majority of the episodes focus on the the original trilogy. This is great as a lot of the original production crew are growing old and becoming one with the force. So wonderful to hear these folks recount their Star Wars experiences as insiders.

In my years of listening to Star Wars Podcasts i’ve never found one that is exclusively interviews, and finally there’s one- and it’s spectacular. The host knows what questions to ask, and when to let the guest talk. Every week is a joy when I get to hear who he interviews next. Best of luck with the future of this podcast!

This is an excellent show. Every single week Brandon is delivering A+ Star Wars interviews that satisfy two very hard to please groups. The epsiodes have stuff for both the hard core SW fan looking for the deepest cuts and the casual fan who may have never heard of the person of the week and is just looking for some cool behind the scenes stories. Not the biggest Star Wars fan, and I still find this very interesting. All of the stars.

It's one thing to do a Star Wars podcast (yawn). It's another thing to do a "Star Wars special features" podcast (queue Cantina music). This show takes us behind the scenes to hear some unique and interesting stories from the galaxy far far away. And hearing these tales straight from the mouths of the people who were there is a real pleasure. This podcast is already awesome and I can't wait to see where the future takes it. If you're a Star Wars fan, I highly recommend you join the crew. They'll be leaving from Docking Bay 94.
