    Worth your time
A fun listen. A good job extracting interesting anecdotes. One star off for some glaring fact errors.

    Egregious Factual Inaccuracies
This podcasts information should not be accepted as true. In the episode about the St. Louis Browns there were at least three statements that were incorrect with the worst saying that the St. Louis Browns lost to the Dodgers in the 1947 World Series. The New York Yankees defeated the Dodgers in the 1947 World Series. The only World Series the Dodgers won in Brooklyn was 1955. Number two, Larry Doby was the first black player in the American League he debuted for Cleveland two weeks before Willard Brown did with the St. Louis Browns. And finally the St Louis Browns of the American Association are today’s St. Louis Cardinals, not separate organizations. The Cardinals like the Dodgers, Pirates, and current day Cincinnati Reds moved to the National League but were originally American Association teams. Not sure what else in any of these shows is wildly inaccurate.

    Great Show
First off, I’m a huge baseball! This is one of the best baseball history podcasts I’ve listened to. I’m only 20 episodes in, but I love the context, and they way you tell the stories and explain the history. Keep it up!

    Great Show
Great show. The new episode is fantastic, thanks! Glad you are back. Please watch the mouth clicks! You know, the tongue clacking, smacking of the lips: I think you can digitally filter them out. They usually happen at the beginning of your sentence after a previously long sentence. Maybe back up from the mic a bit too, and use a physical filter. How can you not mention that the Brooklyn Dodgers won the World Series in 1955? Also Robert Moses was an absolute racist, that should always be brought up whenever his name is mentioned.

    I’m addicted!!
As a huge baseball fan and a history teacher this is my absolute favorite podcast to enjoy and learn from. I’ve gained so much knowledge from this podcast that I share facts from it to my students in class. The baseball team athletes really dig the history and it helps with my ‘street cred’ LOL. Please continue making these great podcasts!

    A Good Find
I was looking for podcasts on classic baseball history and stories and I came across Rounders. I like the stories at night when I'm going to bed. Very interesting. Sometimes I wish the episodes were longer but I guess that just means I want more of a good thing!

    Baseball History Well Done
I like this podcast and the host’s earnest efforts to tell stories about baseball. It is a collection and blend of known and little known characters, descriptions, and stories that illustrate that baseball is not just a game but a culture. One error that needs to be addressed is from the story entitled “Fans Behaving Badly.” Sports columnist, Shirley Povich, was referred to as a female, yet was actually a man and the father of TV talk show Maury Povich. Thank you , Dr. Michael S. Bishop
